yep - and then when GR dumped all the Amazon data, some of my books wound up not having a cover at all!

I've had to hit the Library Help up to restore some of my covers.

All three work, at least with the covers in your original query.

Not sure about these:
Between the Assassinations by Aravind Adiga Last Man in Tower by Aravind Adiga The Weird Sisters by Eleanor Brown The Stories of John Cheever by John Cheever Falconer by John Cheever A Sunday at the Pool in Kigali by Gil Courtemanche Aegypt (The Aegypt Cycle, #1) by John Crowley

To help my fellow SRC members, here's a book I've already read that I think would fit:
Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

Deedee:
The only one that fits B is the red JOhn Cheever. (GR is not letting me post the picture.)
The rest all have extra figures and bars on the backgrounds

Rosemary | 613 comments I think they have to be only one colour, don't they? Not two shades of blue, or white with some green, etc. At first I was thinking of these, then I realised they will not count because (even without the little publisher logo) they are not solid grey but grey and white:

Every Eye by Isobel English The Blank Wall by Elisabeth Sanxay Holding

Deedee, none of these work--they should have a solid color background, nothing other than words--no bars, borders, shaded areas, etc. The mods have said the only design or pictures can be on the lettering.

Valerie, sorry, that pesky little moon in the lower right corner negates the solid.

Yes. But to help Sandy out, let her know which page you used when you post. I will have to "correct" my wording on my task to include that.

Nicola, it would work for 5.6 Something the wind could carry away. Looks like an interesting book.

I understand that problem, only I have a Sony. But I've also downloaded the Nook and the Kindle apps on my computer. Can you say compulsive reader?

Let's just say I have only had the kindle app about 2 months and already have close to 400 books. That does not include my Kobo or my paperbacks. Ah well - there are far worse habits!

Cindy, this won't work for option B because of the pictures, but it will work for option A, because it is over 500 pages.

Daniel O'Malley looks good to me--the O' is not a separate name.

Coralie, all five library systems here that I checked started his last name with the deB, so unless I hear otherwise from the moderators, you can use it.

I'm sorry I missed it, Angie, Unfortunately, because of the picture of the chalice on the cover, it won't work for B. It will work for A, as a big book.

Robin, I can't get the cover photo big enough to tell for sure. If the green at the top, middle and bottom is lettering, then it's okay, but if they are just bars or decorative lines, sorry, then it does not work.

Kim, I'm sorry, but the white lines on the left side of the cover make it not a good choice. I hope you can use it somewhere--a friend of mine just finished it and is raving about it.

Kim (goodreadscomkimber) | 708 comments I already started listening to the audio version. It IS really good. So good I'm still up at 2am because I can't shut it off.

I'm just having a really hard time finding something completely solid that I'm interested in reading.
Thanks!
