How many chapters is it? Can we read it in 4 days? I probably can finish it in 2 , but i'd like to finish it with the rest of you.
Four is good for me, if it is good for everyone else.
Let me track down my paperback copy. It is around here somewhere. Though, I'm going to listen to it on audio.
345 pages with the "Change" at the beginning and the "epilogue" at the end. 55 chapters. Singh's chapters tend to vary, so I say we go by page number. 345 divided by four is 86.25 pages a day. Is that good for everyone? I can do the chapter breakdown, just give me a minute.

You're about 2 hours earlier than me, Lisa Kay. It was a little after 2 am when I posted. I was up cause children/teenagers were outside yelling and woke me. Mom lives in a city that is considerably bigger than where I live now. People in our town are sleeping at 2. Not out roaming the streets like here LOL

Lisa Kay’s Questions for ‘Change’ trough Chapter 14 1. Well, they got right to it, didn’t they? Whoa, baby! I guess that’s okay, since Mercy and Riley have been flirting with each other for several books now. Right? Or was it too soon for you?
2. What did you think of Mercy’s Brazilian grandmother? Didn’t you just know Eduardo and Joaquin were going to push Riley’s buttons? Think they’ll have their own books?
3. Aw. Willow is adorable. I ♥ lynx. And lucky! Anything you want to say about her? Think she’ll have her own book in the future? Who would you pair her with?
4. Who is the ‘puppet master’ behind these violent and strange suicide killings? The Pure Psy? The Human Alliance? Someone else? And why are they happening? Will we find out in this book? Or will this mystery play out for a while in the series? Why was Henry Scott in California? Does he know what is happening or who is behind it?
5. Book Quotes: “And you didn’t turn into a puff of smoke and disappear. The world is full of disappointments.” and “Nope. I haven’t grown a cock in the last few minutes. I have no need to prove whose is bigger.” LOL! Mercy is sure one snarky individual. Are you enjoying the banter between her and Riley? Any favorite quotes so far?
6. The Information Merchant? Interesting way around the PsyNet, or any mind connect the changelings use, right?
7. Okay, I’ll admit it, I’m confused. Why did Nash rip out the chip from his neck when his home was gassed? To leave a clue? If so, why did the kidnappers allow that evidence to be left? Or was Nash even the one who ripped it out?
8. Am I experiencing déjà vu of Aesop's Fables? If not, what was the significance of Mercy’s thorn in her foot?
9. The Psy male takedown in the burger joint would have made a good scene in a movie! Comment.
10. What do you think of the evidence that the monster truck guy might have changed his mind and the last second?
11. And the poor shooter; a pen through the ear? Ick. How did whoever get to the orderly?
12. Kaleb Krycheck, Silver, or Anthony Kyriakus? Any comments on them?
13. Who is this Bowen guy and did he only come back to get his I.D. bracelet, or will he really return Nash? Will Nash be alright? What a place to end! Or did you keep reading?

I'm here! Yes, I'm still on vacation...sort of. I'm home till Saturday and then heading to Georgia with the middle daughter for the weekend. I hold Hubs I was staying home all of July cause I'm hired of traveling LOL I probably won't though :)I just finished ch 1 and W. O. W. that was hot! I can't wait to see more of that!

As I said wow :D No it was perfect .LOL when I started reading I was waiting for a something bad to happen in the first chapter (the serial killing part) but it just started with the good stuff , it was right on time

Mercy and Riley started it early but having these two would add complications. I don’t think they will get their own book , they are hot , but they didn’t seem that significant. The horizontal tango was funny

she is too young to get a book , I think i read somewhere there will 3 or 4 books in the series and it even Kit is too young to have a book

I didn’t expect the female psy to blow up the restaurant, it was so sudden , I actually draw in a breath. I think it will be solved in this book. I’m so suspicious of him but I don’t think he is the puppet master.

I love it, and enjoy it verymuch. These 2 quotes you mentioned were great . I can’t decide on the rest , I love most of the dialogues so far

the information merchant , I can’t think what or how. But he is doing something bad

It’s the chip that all human alliances had , so i thought it was left deliberately , same for the identity tag . I was confused too , if Nash was fighting why didn’t he do something else and how on earth he knew they had a tag on their neck

the only reason for the thorn scene was to show how Riley would react to Mercy getting hurt and how he would handle it

It seems that they know what they are doing but it’s hard for them to prevent it. All of them tried but probably only that guys has been successful of not hurting other people

I’m not sure if the puppet master had the orderly before or did he/she got control of him after they brought in the shooter?!

I liked Anthony from the start , knew he was good , I’m still not sure about Kaleb , sometimes I think he is good , rest of the time I think he will be villain in the future books. And Silver , she’s got the sort of name that suppose to be good , but it seems she is up to no good!

You bet I kept reading but only a bit to see what happens there and to Nash .
I have a question, what did you think of that old woman and her comment about Riley and Mercy, wasn’t it weird?
I have another one , what did you think of Mercy both wanting a stronger dominant male and not being able to submit any control to another dominant. It kept bothering me (not anymore)
I lost control and now I'm reading chapter 34 , but of course it's already Friday here. I was thinking of doing the DQs 9 but I'm not sure if can do a good job , what do you think? should I give it a try for the 21st or 22nd?

14-Bown explained about the chip that was left at Nash’s house , but did it make sense that Nash had caught it out? What did you think about the chip and the way it was left? What about that they went in with the chip to let the Human Alliances know they have taken Nash ?
15- “I had an itch. You scratched it. End of story.”
A low growl that made her thighs clench. But she smiled and wiggled her fingers. “See ya later, wolfie.” . Was she trying to provoke him to follow her? What do you think about the game Mercy was playing to test Riley?
16- What do you think of the image Riley has of his future mate (A submissive)? What are the chances of them not being mates? Is there any?
17-what do you think of Mercy’s painful paradox? How about the fact that she thinks she will have to watch Riley mate with someone else.
18-This puppet master (I stole your term Lisa Kay) seems to be really strong to be able to control this many Psys and in other cities too. Do you think it can be more than one person doing it?
19-what did you think of chapter 20? Does the Ghost think the council is behind the compulsions?
20-I loved Mercy’s brothers and their names. They either will play a big part in this book or will have their own books. What did you think of them? and Bastian’s reaction to the relationship between Mercy and Riley?
21- Samuel Rain is an engineer and the female Psy from the restaurant was a scientist, do you think it has any significant that they were highly educated? Is he going to survive?
22-what did you think of Amara playing with colours and creating Mercy’s hair colour? Did you start to like her a little bit? I think that was the aim of that scene.
23- What do you think happened to Riley’s mother? Why didn’t he like to talk about her? It seems he doesn’t like to talk about lot things. Comments ?
24- What are the mercenaries up to? Are they targeting one of the councillors?
25- after reading about Toby and rainbows in LaurenNet , what do you think of LaurenNet and the web of stars being merged in to one net? It seems something is going on with Sienna. What did you think about the way she was acting?
26- It seems that the council was right .The Psy will turn themselves in for conditioning, any thoughts on that?
