#1 – LOL! Okay. And, yes, it was H.O.T.!
#2 – Yeah, I liked that TT. LOL!
#3 – Aw. Maybe in years to come in a different series.
#4 – It was sudden! I hated the look of desperation in her eyes. **sniff** I don’t think Henry is the ‘puppet master’ either; he has a chip in his neck, too! Right?
#7 – It was? Interesting.
#9 – Mind Meld!
#10 – How awful. To know you are doing something terrible and you can’t stop it. What a loss of control.
#11 – Good question! It might have been before, which does bode well. They could have someone they can control anywhere!
#12 – Yes, Kaleb is a mystery. So is Silver.
#13 – LMBO! I did too!
I have a question, what did you think of that old woman and her comment about Riley and Mercy, wasn’t it weird?
It was weird! I was thinking, “Are we supposed to know who this is?” Because I sure didn’t! Was she just added as comic relief? **Don’t know.
I have another one , what did you think of Mercy both wanting a stronger dominant male and not being able to submit any control to another dominant. It kept bothering me (not anymore)
Yes, I found it interesting. It was bothering me a little bit; they are so equal and that doesn’t seem to go with the changeling culture. However, I think they are just going to take turns being dominant. Maybe?

I think this started off wonderfully! I hope Willow would get her own book when she gets older. I am not sure who's behind the rogue Psy that are killing people, but I don't think it's Kaleb or Anthony...maybe Henry and his PurePsy group so they can show that Silence needs to be kept in tact. I think Riley was super sweet when he took the thorn out of Mercy's foot. I was a little swoony when Riley went to Mercy's after his nightmare. I loved that she didn't ask questions and just held him.

14- Bowen explained about the chip that was left at Nash’s house, but did it make sense that Nash had caught it out? What did you think about the chip and the way it was left? What about that they went in with the chip to let the Human Alliances know they have taken Nash?
No, unless he was convinced or coerced into doing so. It seemed too staged, but Bowen said they wanted to prove a point. **shrugs** So, maybe I’m buying it.
15- “I had an itch. You scratched it. End of story.”
A low growl that made her thighs clench. But she smiled and wiggled her fingers. “See ya later, wolfie.” Was she trying to provoke him to follow her? What do you think about the game Mercy was playing to test Riley?
She calls it “shoo-away,” but really she’s playing a very dangerous game of “Come here, come here, come here…Go away, go away, go away.” I think she is getting off on the excitement of it, the chase and all. She wants him to prove himself worthy of all she has to offer; however, I think there is a part of her that doesn’t even realize that she really wants him as a worthy to be her mate.
16- What do you think of the image Riley has of his future mate (A submissive)? What are the chances of them not being mates? Is there any?
You mean Mercy and Riley not being mates? I think there is zero chance of that. LOL! This is a romance book, after all. But it is fun to see how they work it out. Plus, I agree with Brenna; there is no way he’d be happy with a submissive.
17- What do you think of Mercy’s painful paradox? How about the fact that she thinks she will have to watch Riley mate with someone else.
I think that idea is very painful to her and may cause her to relinquished her need for control – or dominance – a bit.
18-This puppet master (I stole your term Lisa Kay) seems to be really strong to be able to control this many Psys and in other cities too. Do you think it can be more than one person doing it?
Not my term, Shosho; I got it from the book. ☺ Oh, could be. I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of that. I’m so used to one villain.
19-what did you think of chapter 20? Does the Ghost think the council is behind the compulsions?
I don’t know! I don’t even know if the Ghost knows who is behind the compulsions. All I know is that the Ghost doesn’t like that they are beginning to this Silence is such a bad thing, and he/she is not happy about it. And that the Ghost admitted to assassinating a Councilor. Then she/he started the rumors of the Council manipulating the populace by terror.
20-I loved Mercy’s brothers and their names. They either will play a big part in this book or will have their own books. What did you think of them? and Bastian’s reaction to the relationship between Mercy and Riley?
Yes, let’s hope so! Lots more books! First, I couldn’t believe the things Mercy did to scare of Bas’s girl-friends! O.M.G.! Dead kittens! She is terrible. Second, I think he’ll be fine with it, as long as she doesn’t get hurt.
21- Samuel Rain is an engineer and the female Psy from the restaurant was a scientist, do you think it has any significant that they were highly educated? Is he going to survive?
Yes, I think it is significant. I hope he has enough will to do so.
22- What did you think of Amara playing with colours and creating Mercy’s hair colour? Did you start to like her a little bit? I think that was the aim of that scene.
I didn’t dislike her as much as some of the other “buddy readers” for the last book. Not that I trust her. However, it is nice that Sascha is working with her; maybe there is hope for her.
23- What do you think happened to Riley’s mother? Why didn’t he like to talk about her? It seems he doesn’t like to talk about lot things. Comments ?
Men! They just don’t get into that stuff. Obviously there is more to that story – and may be key to why he thinks he want a woman who is more domestic.
24- What are the mercenaries up to? Are they targeting one of the councilors?
You mean with the cleaning supplies? I don’t know. Can’t you blow things up with the chemicals? Could be.
25- After reading about Toby and rainbows in LaurenNet, what do you think of LaurenNet and the web of stars being merged in to one net? It seems something is going on with Sienna. What did you think about the way she was acting?
I think so. That would be interesting and a big advantage, don’t you think? Yes, something is going on with Sienna; why did she stay at home and not move out when she could? Why can’t she control her impulses – at least according to Hawke. Or is it just with him? Why is she so ‘tight’ and ‘closed-up’? Yet she accepted the position readily. **shrugs** I don’t know.
26- It seems that the council was right. The Psy will turn themselves in for conditioning, any thoughts on that?
I don’t know. (I’m sure saying that a lot!) The young Tk-Psy sure turned himself in fast enough; but what made him kill his roommate? I wouldn’t trust their “conditioning” – that’s for sure!

And I just finished the book and LOVED it.

14. I didn't buy it.
15. Yes, she was trying to provoke him. I think she's being unintentionally mean - she wants to play, wants him to prove himself, but it won't be enough.
16. Interesting that he wants that in a wife. I don't think he'd be happy with that though. That's why he likes Mercy.
17. I agree with Lisa Kay. It may cause her to give up some control and be more flexible.
18. I think it's one person.
19. I don't know.
20. I want them to have their own books! I think Bas will be fine as long as Mercy is happy.
21. I don't know if he'll survive, but I'm sure them being scientists and Nash being one all has something to do with each other.
22. I'm one of those that didn't like amara in the last book LOL She was better this time. It was funny that she'd been ordered to play and made Mercy's hair color.
23. Don't know what happened to her, but I'm sure it's what's influencing his thoughts on the kind of mate he wants.
24. I think they're trying to hurt the Psy - just don't know how.
25. I always thought the Laurennet and the web of stars should combine. As for sienna, I am not sure.
26. It does seem like the general Psy population is willing to voluntarily go to rehab.

#14 – LMAO! Susan, I guess you’re not as gullible as I am.
#15 – Yeah, where does it cross the line? There are a couple of words for that, aren’t there? (view spoiler) But I think Riley liked it. These two were a little rougher in their courtship.
#16 – Very true! A submissive? What was he thinking?
#17 – Mind Meld.
#25 – Yeah, I just know a lot of people were looking forward to her story. I think it just came out last year, right?

1. Well, they got right to it, didn’t they? Whoa, baby! I guess that’s okay, since Mercy and Riley have been flirting with each other for several books now. Right? Or was it too soon for you?
It was definitely different from the previous books but for me it worked well given that they were both Changelings and have been pushing each other;s buttons for a while
2. What did you think of Mercy’s Brazilian grandmother? Didn’t you just know Eduardo and Joaquin were going to push Riley’s buttons? Think they’ll have their own books?
Mercy's grandmother has her best interests at heart. I think there might have been a bit of reverse psychology in play here with her sending the Brazilian cuties knowing that Mercy would fish or cut bait so to speak. I have my doubts that they will get their own books - they just weren't fleshed out enough and didn't seem to fit in.
3. Aw. Willow is adorable. I ♥ lynx. And lucky! Anything you want to say about her? Think she’ll have her own book in the future? Who would you pair her with?
So sweet. I really felt for Willow (love that name). She's a bit young to get her own book just yet but maybe Ben (the little wolf) or the little psy kid (whose name escapes me at this moment)
4. Who is the ‘puppet master’ behind these violent and strange suicide killings? The Pure Psy? The Human Alliance? Someone else? And why are they happening? Will we find out in this book? Or will this mystery play out for a while in the series? Why was Henry Scott in California? Does he know what is happening or who is behind it?
I though this plot premise had great potential but didn't really develop as well as it could have. I've read to the end and the perpetrator makes sense in the overall story arc.
5. Book Quotes: “And you didn’t turn into a puff of smoke and disappear. The world is full of disappointments.” and “Nope. I haven’t grown a cock in the last few minutes. I have no need to prove whose is bigger.” LOL! Mercy is sure one snarky individual. Are you enjoying the banter between her and Riley? Any favorite quotes so far?
Loved the relationship and their banter. Theirs is my favorite romance after Judd and Brenna.
6. The Information Merchant? Interesting way around the PsyNet, or any mind connect the changelings use, right?
Interesting but ended up being a little disappointing - all the suspense surrounding him fizzled
7. Okay, I’ll admit it, I’m confused. Why did Nash rip out the chip from his neck when his home was gassed? To leave a clue? If so, why did the kidnappers allow that evidence to be left? Or was Nash even the one who ripped it out?
I got the impression that the chip was torn out accidentally
8. Am I experiencing déjà vu of Aesop's Fables? If not, what was the significance of Mercy’s thorn in her foot?
Just seemed to be another way for Mercy and Riley to get closer emotionally and physically.
9. The Psy male takedown in the burger joint would have made a good scene in a movie! Comment.
The whole series would make an excellent movie. I keep comparing the Psy to the Borg in my mind.
10. What do you think of the evidence that the monster truck guy might have changed his mind and the last second?
Emphasizes that these "killer" Psy are being forced against their will and this one, at least, had a stronger personality than the others.
11. And the poor shooter; a pen through the ear? Ick. How did whoever get to the orderly?
Evidence that the PupperMaster is someone high up in the Psy chain of command
12. Kaleb Krycheck, Silver, or Anthony Kyriakus? Any comments on them?
Kaleb is very intriguing and I have my suspicions that he may be the enigmatic ghost
13. Who is this Bowen guy and did he only come back to get his I.D. bracelet, or will he really return Nash? Will Nash be alright? What a place to end! Or did you keep reading?
I find it impossible to put the Psy-Changeling books down for a second

#1 – Yeah, it worked for me, too.
#2 – Maybe a parallel series then?
#3 – I know! I just love that name, too!
#7 – I was wondering about that! Interesting.
#11 – I’m going to agree with you!
#12 – Ah! Maybe. I’d say good guess.
#13 – LOL!

HAHAHA I never made that connection before, but you're sooo right!
And I totally agree with your thoughts on Kaleb being the ghost.
