I loved the film-it actually made me cry (probably anything using books has extra power for me, but still-a terrific film).I love the masthead even more now.
I'm glad so many people do like the masthead. I hadn't realized though that so many people didn't know about this wonderful short film either. Glad you've seen it now. :-)
I was actually just reading about the book this morning -- didn't know they'd done a film!! The book is by William Joyce, and is available for pre-order now (I believe it has a September release date?). Can't wait to see the movie -- and I love the masthead, too!
I love it and want to go inside of that picture. I never saw the short story, but will definitely do so in the future. Thanx for posting.
I'm glad I've joined this group. Never heard of that animated movie, but can;t wait to get home from work and watch it!!
I love the masthead! Very fitting for this group =) And thanks for the info about the short film, I've never seen it so I'm going to check it out when I have the chance =)
I hadn't even heard of it until your post and I didn't want to leave a comment until I'd seen it.It's perfect!
P.S. It's on Youtube if you do a little searching around.
Haven't seen the film, but I love the masthead! It is so fitting for this group and reminds me a little bit of my bedroom!
Perfect for the sight.....well found.K.
That is probably what my apartment would look like-except not as clean and neat-if I lived alone. Particularly if Kindle had never been invented!
I love it! I want to put that on my walls in my bedroom! perhaps I could get my house painted (outside)!!!!

After winning over a dozen film festivals, the film was awarded the Best Animated Short Film at the 84th Academy Awards. An official iPad app based on the film is also available in the Apple App Store. A book adaption is expected to be released in late 2012.
