Mine is sitting on the patio, the rain beating down on the room, an nice cool breeze, a cuppa tea.

I like to read out by the pool deck when it's warm & on my bed or couch when it's too cool/cold to enjoy the outdoors.
One time, I was on the 2nd floor of my library sitting on a couch under a skylight next to a huge window, reading during a thunderstorm... That was NICE! :)

I should be living in Seattle! I love the rain, but they can keep the hurricanes. When south Florida is nice, it is real nice. When it isn't, well that is why we have shutters.

either on the porch (depending on the weather) or in my sisters room; either sitting in the comfy chair or walking in circles. drinking tea. ;)

You can read walking in circles?!
Rain! Yes! I agree!
MY favourite place... In winter snuggled up on my bed, in summer lying on the grass or sitting in our swing chair we have outside :) I can't wait for summer to be able to read in those places again! :D

haha yes. large circles; not tight! I'd get dizzy too. lol but yea, I guess the constant rhythmic motion helps me focus and also helps my back and neck not to cramp. :)

I like to read while walking up and down the stairs - it doubles as a workout as well as helping me focus and keeping from getting stiff. :)

Mine is outside in the sun for a bit then move to the shade if necessary then back out to the sun... lol you get the idea. If it's too windy or cold outside then my next favorite place is in my papasan chair in our home library.

i tried that once i got dizzy :P

I've read while I was walking many times before & never had a problem with it as long as I'm in a familiar place. ;) My sis, however, can't do those 2 things at the same time. Remember what I told you about her walking & reading/replying to a text..? ;P

I read Kindle books on my iPad (with the cloud reader app), and I'm not sure how to delete books from my app's library while still keeping them in my Amazon library so I can read them at another time if I want to. Does anyone know if this is even possible?

Couldn't remember where the North and South convo was so....
Oh. My. Word. :O why have I only just seen this!? It was all very serious but that is the subject it is on. It was so good! How all the stories resolved - fav was Biggs and Thornton (when Thornton helps the boy read!) their relationship was amazing! I
Mr John Thornton.... *sigh* he was such a textured character! He was so sad and has suffered greatly and I really felt for him, from the beginning actually. He was really wonderful and does have good morals.
The ending was the best bit! When he goes to get a flower and then the station.... <3 sigh* so sweet and perfect!
I must read the book! :D

Anyway, I'm glad you finally got to watch it. So, how does it rate compared to P&P? It's a VERY close 2nd for me. ;)
And the guy who plays Nicholas Higgins (Brendan Coyle) is in "Downton Abbey" too! Have you seen it?
Yeah Higgins I just shorted it to Higgs and then I missed the h and hit the b by accident ;)
I really did love it! It doesn't beat P&P because I like the humour and wit and N&S was a lot more serious. But, it is very high up!! I want to read the book before I decide completely where ... But high up!
Yes he is Bates in Downton :) I sort of watch Downton. Can't believe what has just happened though!

I'm so glad you liked it! :D I totally agree...I love the parts with Higgins and Thornton. I really felt bad for Mr. Thornton almost the whole way through, too. ;)

"You don't need Henry." You're darn right she doesn't! :P
Same. They both change a lot.
The later scenes are the best ones yes :) when she says about the brother yes! The realisation which spreads across his face!
Yes! She does not need annoying Henry!

In know!! Her cousin was Harriet from Emma 09 and Churchill was also in it from Emma 09 ;)
I liked him from the off, as he always had the right morals and I think it was mainly Margaret to change. Though Thornton did change in his attitudes towards works (Higgins and Thornton)
I look forward to Wives and Daughters!
