Yes, someone did. I required some advice from you ladies. I really do need it.
well, Caro's advice was good advice.
But I don't think Goodreads was designed to get advice on personal life matters- that's something you should get from your family and close friends. I don't know- maybe there are other groups that do this and talk about all sorts of things, but I'm trying to keep our group for discussing non-personal things (like the title items), specifically books. If there is someone on here you particularly trust, you could always message them about it, or even put it on your wall, but that's not what I have in mind for my group.
I'm sorry if this offends you- I'm sorry for your situation and I hope you find the advice you need. :)

no problem, Caro! we've never really had it happen so I've never had to explain it. ;) besides- you gave good advice.
there you go Anna- you can come to CGC if you still want to ask your online friends for this advice. :)
its addicting...i think its just best to watch it in one sitting and "be done with it"- or it will be running through your mind every waking moment! :D

Margaret's cousin Edith's wedding to Captain Lennox. and the guy talking to Margaret was Henry Lennox, brother of the groom.
Remember him. He keeps coming up. Stick with it, they do rush the beginning in the series it will make more sense soon I promise :)
Well sort of proposing.... in the book he never actually mentions marriage in this. But, it is the equivalent of a proposal (you may notice a few similarities by now and in the 'proposal' in particular to pride and prejudice)
Enjoying it?

You're half way pretty much if at the 'proposal' scene as that at the end of episode 2 :)
Enjoy second half :)

Ohhhhhhh. Right right. Yeah he proposes. Henry Lennox is not a favourite character of mine... Remember him. He keeps popping up later on ;)

I totally agree...I had to stretch it out over a few days, and that was torture!! ;P Next time I watch it I'm going to plan it so I don't have to stop it in between... :D

HAHAHA Alice!! Great quote and completely agree!!
Do Caro in not very long (like episode 3 and 4) you will not like Henry very much. He seems nice, at the moment!!

Personally, I never did like the look of Henry... I was like "Please tell me she doesn't like this guy!?" My sis just laughed & said "Just hush and keep watching."
Oh man, Wickham in 'Lost in Austen' was an awesome character. *Sigh* If only he was the real Wickham...

i saw ur pin. wait is he a good guy then??

Did you like Wickham in Pride & Prejudice?"

Yeah. Georgianna turned out to be the 'bad guy'and Wickham, being honourable just played along with her lies in order to protect her. The actor was cute too, so that's a plus. :P

It was pretty terrible, I must say. But it has its good parts.
Inward always weary of Henry. Creepy man
Lost in Austen is terrible and I HATED that Wickham was good (and handsome) as he isn't meant to be!!!
