Aside from Amber Heard, I think Riley Keough would also be a good Alaska.
I definitely agree with Kaya, she's my number 1 choice. I also really like Kat Dennings and Willa Holland, I never imagined Alaska being blonde sorry

Scout-Taylor Compton, she is tiny and can do a very convincing southern accent. 2nd would be Juno Temple same character traits.
Why are you all picturing blonde girls? And old! I don't think Alaska would be blonde.I think Kaya would be a great choice. Also, Willa Holland = Perfect Alaska! :D

For some reason I imagine her Ellen Page, or Lucy Hale. As the description on Pudge that she is petite, & skinny with some curves. Of course, they are identical how he describes Alaska, but I think they would do a good Alaska. I think I prefer Ellen Page because she is a better actress.

ive been thinking about this question for so long, but i haven't come up with anybody. alaska is beautiful with her big emerald green eyes and her dark hair. for me, i dont think anybody on the face of the planet could compare to the wonderful and breathtaking alaska, everything about her is just too complex to put into someone.
Always pictured her as Kaya Scodelario for some odd reason, can't quite accept anyone else.

Well, I just read the book… again. And as some I really don't get all the cheap blondes in this list. I' m sticking with a (naturally) young Winona Ryder.She's supposed to be 'the hottest girl in the whole history of humankind'.

I think Rachel Hurd-Wood or Rose Leslie would be good as Alaska. They both have red hair as well.
But, Alaska has brown hair.
