What do you guys think of the Onyx trailer? I like it more than Obsidian's...Daemon sounds hot.
Finally have Onyx in my hands!!! But I'm not eagerly tearing through the pages like I thought I would be. I'll probably reread it soon though.And I just saw the trailer. I liked it better than Obsidian but still kind of lame. I don't know, there was all of this hype for the filming of the trailers and so far I'm disappointed :/

Mee too! For some reason..I know this sounds weird....when I watched the trailer...it looked fake?? Do you know what I mean?? I don't know why..maybe it was the acting or editing...but it looked out of place.
yeah...I don't think they have read the books so they are basically just being told what to do and how to act...it takes away from it.
I think the reason i don't enjoy them, is cus in my mind I have such a strong image of Daemon and Katy that it would be impossible to find people in real life who could satisfy that. Pepe, is quite similar but Sztella is soo not my Katy. At all. And it ruins it. And I agree, there's something off about these trailers...I think it may also be cus their not actually actors/tresses...
I think they should have showed more of the plot rather than being focused on all of the kissing and romance. There is more to the story then just that you know? Maybe they could have filmed what Katy goes through with Blake. Know what I'm talking about? (I'm trying not to spoil in case people haven't read it yet.) But I guess they probably didn't have enough money for special effects and what not...
Yeah, I agree, Nicole. Basically, we were hoping for more. :( It sucks to be disappointed. Aren't the people that did the trailer the same ones who did it for City of....one of the TMI trailers...I really liked that one. The kissing scene with Clary and Jace was hot but there was more to it than just the kissing. But Daemon and Katy are kissing all throughout the trailers so...there's just too much.
Speaking of TMI have you lot been following the casting news for CoG?? I have, and gosh I AM SO EXCITED!! I mean, I'm not the biggest TMI fan, but that cast...whew! BUT THE PERSON PLAYING MAGNUS!! AND SIMON!! *squeals*
I haven't been keeping track of that. I'm not really interested in it. I'm just hoping they bring the character to life. I hope that Clary and Jace are as they should be.

I hope so too. None of them are really my ideal people. I didn't picture them like that but I don't care as much because I'm not the biggest fan of TMI. I only read it after I read a spoiler saying that the bro-sis thing was a hoax. I still shudder at the thought that this is Jace:
