I received the copy for free from Smashwords courtesy of the author. While the premise was promising, the book didn't deliver especially in terms of characters development. Click here for detailed review. (I warned ya it was a fairly long review because I wanted to help the author to improve her writing :))

I'd been wanted to read this book for quite sometimes because I'd been stuck with stories about vampires, angels, and werewolves so this was the first young adult book I'd read which revolves around ghosts.
Not that scary kind of ghosts.
But gah! The climax was written horribly so I'm giving up on the series altogether. Click here for detailed review.

This one right here was the first book I received as a paid reviewer. It was ridiculous because I got paid for reading this beauty! I might as well spent $20 for this book and it would still be totally worth it! I wish more people more about this book :/ Click here for detailed review.

If you haven't read the first epic book from the series, Unearthly then what are you doing here?
GO READ IT!
I mean it. However, the second book right here, Hallowed was ermmm...not successful in blowing my mind into million pieces. Click here for detailed review.

It's official. This book should be made into compulsory literature material for kids at school. Thanks to my bestie for recommending this book for me ^_^ Click here for detailed review.

Do you like:
- Ju-On
- The Ring
- Dark Water
Then you might as well try this one. Don't let the girl in the pretty dress on the cover fools you. If I'm a dude, I don't mind carrying this book around, seriously. Click here for detailed review.

Oh, the horror!
The horror when I found out that I dislike this book as much as I dislike bean sprout in my bihun goreng. I'm sorry but I don't understand what's so great about Cassandra Clare's books.Click here for detailed review.

LOL! If only the title matches the story offered in this book...
...then I would still dislike this book.Click here for detailed review.

Yup, I know. This book has spreading its glory in AGES and I only had the chance to indulge it early this year.
This was how I looked after I finished with this book.

This book left a strange after-effect to me. I think it was me not the book but yeah.
Strange.

I just found out a few days ago that the author, Tahereh Mafi is a hijabi. But then, it is bizarre why would she write something like this. I have nothing against the basic premise Rogue-X-Men thingy but the whole excessive show of affection wherever Juliette and Adam had a chance was just...ehhhh?

It was a fun book with sophisticated twists near the end. As long as you can bear with the whole stereotypical high school setting, I think you would enjoy this book. Click here for detailed review.

I'm sorry but this was a waste of time. Spectacular cover though. Click here for detailed review.

Only two major changes could save the book.
1. Replace the female protagonist with someone who actually has a brain.
2. Replace the author with someone who actually can write better than a fifth grader or ermm...me.

Somehow I got a headache long after I finished this book not because it wasn't good but I think I couldn't handle the intensity of this book. It played with your emotions like *exhale* like you was Katniss yourself. Click here for detailed review.

Finally finished with the series. Phew! I honestly don't know how I feel about this book just yet :/ Need days perhaps before I finally digest what's going on in this book. Click here for detailed review.

Instead of making movies/TV series based on Fallen, The Selection or I Am Number Four series, this series was way more worthy of all the money invested on all those aforementioned books. Click here for detailed review.

Meh! I wasn't that memorable but I guess it wasn't that bad either. A lovely combination of murder mystery, romance and sci-fi. Click here for detailed review.

One thing I'm happy about is it ended well. If there's one more book for this series, I swear...
...i'll send the most antibiotic-resistant mycobacterium tuberculosis containing mail to the author.

One thing that is precious in this book which can hardly be found in other Dystopian Fictions is that the book was told from two point of views, a girl and a boy. Very light on the romance as well. Hence, if you're a guy looking for a Young Adult book with a substance, this is it. :) Click here for detailed review.

Kinda traumatized with paranormal fantasy: werewolves/shapeshifters genre right now. Click here for detailed review.

I got this as a review copy from the author and IT WAS SENSATIONAL!! I never thought this Beauty and the Beast retelling could be this gooooooooood!!!

Another major disappointment for me. It was really dull.

A let down as well. Luckily I didn't have a high expectation for this one. Try this one la if you like zombies! Click here for detailed review.

If you enjoy eating durians. Then, you'll enjoy this book.
Seriously.

May I present the illegal love child of Hex Hall and Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets.

I'm originally from Malaysia, but currently studying in Australia.
Pardon me because most of the books I read are within Young Adult and Fantasy genres which obviously can be brain-numbing sometimes compared to generally much healthier non-fictions.
