Have any of you heard of the band Neon Trees? I just found out one of the members graduated from my high school.

CONGRATS ON GRADUATION!*ceiling opens and balloons and streamers pour out*
And I love the Neon Trees! That's so cool!:)

Also, I'm going to the same university that Lindsey Stirling attended. I'm so bragging, but right now I don't care. XD

See y'all on Saturday.

Still have about an hour before I head out…I sent a text to my writing group telling them I would be gone and to ask Savannah all the questions they have because she's my secretary.
I got a text from her two minutes later. Here was our exchange.
Savannah: Um…I'm not secretary anymore. Thanks.
[She's right…she is now the head of the writing group because I've graduated.]
Taylor: Um…aren't you still my secretary? :P
Savannah: In the endearing sense, sure. But if you're going to let me do anything finally like I should be, you need to let go of some stuff. Even if I suck, I need the opportunity to try things without you there to back me up. Doesn't mean you aren't the bestest with writing advice, but...seriously.
Taylor: You read way too much into that text. :) Yes, I only mean it in the endearing sense. Because while you may be in charge, they're still coming to me for advice. What I am trying to do is force them to come to you more often. Does that make sense?
In other words, I don't think you're going to suck without me. But I am doing something that will hopefully help them build the habit of seeing you as the source of all knowledge.
Savannah: That makes complete sense and I'm not saying they shouldn't go to you--I don't care. I suck at texting most people back. But clubwise, I am president and they need to ask me about club stuff, which isn't even what that text was about so we're good and I am done sorry.
Taylor: I'm sorry if I upset you. I really didn't mean to tread on your toes…I really do the best I can to avoid that. Sorry.
Savannah: It's okay. I know you don't mean it, so sorry for acting out when you don't know why. Usually I'm good at hiding it, so my bad.
Taylor: Do you want to talk about it? I'm just making food so I have all the time in the world.
Savannah: Nope. I'm calm now.

[Yeah, um…that's not fair. Getting snippy and then not telling me what the heck is wrong. And I know she's not PMSing…that'll happen in a few weeks. XD ]

I guess she was annoyed because she felt like you weren't involved in the group anymore and it's now her responsibility? But that definitely seemed like overreacting.
