What Are You Reading Now?

I was looking at possibly reading

I'm down to read The Unidentified Redhead with you. From the reviews, it sounds funny & steamy. Just let me know when you're ready.

Kay, if you find books share those titles!

I like the fact that the new Nooks (and other new ereaders) have the touch feature. With the old nook, it would take forever to use the dictionary or to highlight. I hardly used those features before but now, I'm highlighting everything. LOL And it's nice to look up a word and if it's not in the dictionary, I have the choice google or wiki it.

Thanks Regina! I was reading each one you posted and it looks like the plug in does not work for the Kindle Touch. Does anyone have one and use a plug in?

I am also 63% in to

Wish I could read 2X faster ;)

I want to read Cinder but I'll wait to hear all your opinions when you all are done.

Still working on Special Forces (about 40% in) and got a little ways into CoLS last night.

I see mostly all 5 star reviews. Granted, there's only 1 page of reviews so at least half or more of them could be from friends of the author but even so...it looks intriguing. You'll have to let me know what you think.
And there goes GR again using the wrong book cover when I hit reply.

Too funny DG.
I just started the audio of

I also have several female GR friends who did not like it and gave it 1 or 2 stars -- and Ilona Andrews did not like it. So, we shall see!

Stacia, Fancy seeing you here in the morning :)

I finally finished the audio of

Or I fall back to a long time favorite series like JD Robb's In Death books.

Leea, yeah I was only on for a few this morning. It is a rare sighting, isn't it? Just flipped the wifi on for a sec while I was waiting for Silas to get out of the bathroom.

The CEO quit a couple of months ago and now the CFO is the one now leaving.
They haven't been fired but they left on their own, which tells you about the health of this company. My job is not in jeopardy at the moment but if I continue here for too long, I may not have one.

I just read Love's Rhythm. Was pretty good!

Ah DG that really sucks. I would be so scared.

The alternate PoV and following HEA book were for another one of Hart's. I was confusing the two because they were the only two I'd read by her.

I'll be fine one way or the other. One of the good things about not having a house, kids or debt is that we don't have that many responsibilities besides the day to day and we're not very extravagant. :) And my poor husband has a 1.5 jobs so if I don't work, it won't be the end of the world.

I saw this after reading your deleted post and responding to it. Lol! Anyway, I posted the question on MH website. Hopefully she'll respond. a

Hart is one of those authors who writes brilliantly but she doesn't turn my crank. I have this weird thing about not wanting to mix sad storylines with books that are supposed to turn me on. Or maybe that's not weird if I read erotica as a turn on, haha. I actually like deep and thoughtful (even sad at times) books, just not when I'm trying to reach "happy sexy time" if that makes sense.
I totally understand why she has so many fans though. She's a great writer.

For a second, I thought DG had pissed off Regina for some reason unknown.

True. I'm taking half of Friday off to start looking for a new job. And I'll see if I can find something part-time. If I could do that for a year or so, it would be great.

My husband is considering switching jobs because he's in a dead end position that's going nowhere but if he made the jump, we'd be taking a pay cut (we can barely get by as it is) but it would also mean tons of room for growth. What he's almost considering is taking the new job and trying to switch his current job to the night shift for a month, as a safety net, in case the new job is one he hates or it doesn't work out...he could quit and go back to days on his current job.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! I DO have tons of opinions so I'm sure I piss off people regularly. ;p
Oh well, I'm going for drinks with my coworkers to rehash the work situation (that's becoming a ritual in the company.)

Over the weekend I finished a bunch of chick lit books: Attachments, Girl On The Run, and Single Girl's To Do List. I'm still in the mood for something contemporary and somewhat light.
Does anyone have any suggestions for Pretty Woman themed books? Preferably in modern time and not historical. I searched under listopia but couldn't find anything :(
