I tried to delete the book after seperating it from the other editions, but still get the message that only super-librarians may delete a book with so many reviews. As far as I can see there's only some three people who rated it, no real review (when seperated).

You cannot delete a book with reviews that is not combined with other edition since the reviews would also be deleted (supers may be able).In this case you needed to move the ISBN10 to the edition with the ISBN13
Separate and combine the two editions, delete the incorrect book then recombine the single edition with the others. This ensures the reviews stay on a Dutch edition and not the most popular.

Got 382 & 383.Re msg 384: We do not remove books from the database just because they go out of print (or are no longer available for download), just as a library would not pull a book from its shelves just because it is no longer available for purchase.

Good to know. But do you have a suggestion, then? My book has some new addition & edits and a new cover. I can't have people reading the old book and posting reviews on a manuscript that's no longer valid or has changed. Thanks
Users generally want / review the edition they have bought, so if the 2nd edition is the one they bought generally they take care to review that edition.You can also add 1st/2nd edition to the edition field

I think what Paula was trying to say is that you create a new edition (like you would for a new book) with the updated data. If the ISBN is the same, leave it blank; otherwise enter the new one as you normally do. Finally, request a Librarian to combine it with the original. (It helps to give links to both the old version and the new version you want combined.)
It is just like the process for creating an Alternate Cover Edition.

I couldn't find any prove that there has been an alternate cover edition, so I think it can be deleted, but I was not sure with which edition it should be merged, so I gave both other editions.

The link in 408 doesn't work.
Sorry about link 408, I took care of that. As for 407: Robert Rotenberg never wrote a book called City Hall, there is however an Old City Hall which is already in the database, thus rendering this "City Hall" book redundant. Same with the other book. Someone made a mistake adding those.

As for 408, I did not delete any book, merely combined a book with its other editions.
