Nope. This is the first. I'm really liking it so far. :)

The Voyage of Patience Goodspeed......It's ok. so far. I love ship stories and was looking for a YA quick read (I like to balance between YA and adult) and saw this at the library I picked it up. Hopefully it will become a bit more fast-paced but it's still entertaining. ;)
NEXT- Miss Delacourt Speaks Her Mind!!!! :D

I haven't read the book, but I thought the BBC mini series version of it was great! Have you seen it?

I enjoyed it a great deal! Basically, the heroine (Lucy) had to decide between two gentleman: a proper, rich, and cool-tempered one (Cecil Vyse) who had to propose multiple before she finally agreed to marry him, or passionate, forward, wild, and almost mysterious one (George Emerson). It was long enough to enjoy the details, but short that you get don't get bogged down somewhere in the middle. ;) I would definately recommend it!! :D

I've finished this one & 4 others ---

All good books!! :)
Yay Nicole!! Love that one!
Is it good Katie?
And P&P, nice Catalina
3/4 of the way through Cotillion (Heyer) and LOVING it!!
Anyone have any recommendations for other Heyer's?

Thanks! I have the annotated version so I can read the difficult, old fashioned terms they have in there.
Nice one. First time I read it I read it on my iPod with the option to click on words and look them up very easily ;)
Oh cool!
I really want to read Sense and Sensibility or Emma after I finish P&P.

All the Austen's are great!! If you want to know about them and see my reviews have a look on my blog (link on my GR profile) and I have a page on each novel :)
I can't wait to read more Austenian stuff! Boy I love it.
If you have any questions or want opinions/recommendations please ask me if ya like! Can't talk about JA enough ;)!!
I was going to post I am currently reading 'Miss Delacourt speaks her Mind' by Heidi Ashworth but I have now finished it. So, I read 'Miss Delacourt speaks her Mind' and I CANNOT wait for the sequel to arrive as it was SOOO good!!
When Arabella arrives (by Georgette Heyer) on Wednesday I will be reading that, and then the sequel when it arrives!!

Yup! Halfway through. :)

Loving it! I saw the 1995 adaptation, with Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet, so I pretty much knew the story already. But the book has a lot more to it.
That's would I found. I loved the book too!!
I recommend after you have read it , if you can, to watch the 2008 one. It a series of 3 hours and they include more obviously ;) and for me it was generally better than the 95, although I did love that one.
Also, If you want more from the character of Col Brandon (the hero of the story for me!) then I recommend Col Brandon's diary by Amanda Grange - it gave me a whole new respect for him and a bigger incite into his character and then he jumped up to very near the top of my hero list !!

I'll def watch the movie once I'm done reading the book. I like when they include more of the story in the movie. Like the CBC Adaptation of Pride and Prejudice. Fave version. :)
Sweet! I'll check it out! I actually REALLY like Col Brandon.
