I think my problem is that I just got overwhelmed with so many new books to read (due to Christmas & my library holds coming in) many of which are westerns. I think I just need to take a bit of a break from the westerns & read something a little more modern. :P

That's great, I may have to look into more of her books.
Alice - I finished this book this morning. I think you would enjoy it. It's quite good. A really great story.

I really enjoyed that book. It wasn't what I expected, but it was nonetheless a great story.

Will do, Nicole

Emma is my least favorite also.A lot of people really love it but I just couldn't get over how snobbish Emma was.Northanger Abbey is one of her funniest.

I love this one"
I know! Can't wait for the second.
It seems that people either love or hate Emma... Anyway! Enjoy Northanger Abbey! It is different from her other novels and I really like it :)

It's a beautiful story of self acceptance and acceptance of others as well, it has everything - love, war, politics, religion, but it's all done very tastefully and not critically.
It is also one of the most unique portrayals of dragons I've read so far.
