Just a note to begin with, I've decided that instead of making a "Random" file, (as the group IS random) I'm just going to use the "general" file as our random file. . . yea...so there ya go. ;)

SO in this discussion we will be sharing favorite quotes! Funny, inspirational, friendship, sarcastic, movie(lines) -anything! just quote the quotes you like. ;)

"Smile, it's contagious!"
"Smile, it makes people wonder what your up to!"

"We are BEYOND smelling salts!!!" ♥♥♥♥

“I like to imagine that the world is one big machine. You know, machines never have any extra parts. They have the exact number and types of parts they need. So I figure if the entire world is a big machine, I have to be here for some reason, too."

LadyDisdain ^ Oh, that is an excellent quote! I so want to read that book soon >.<

You know, I can't really think of a good quote at the moment though I'm always looking at them. But here's one from Darcy that springs to mind: "Disguise of every sort is my abhorrence." SO with you on that, dude.

Great line - other wonderful quotes from the Paltrow Emma .... (found a good website and thought it would post them for people enjoyment)

- "I rode through the rain! I'd - I'd ride through worse than that if I could just hear your voice telling me that I might, at least, have some chance to win you."

- "Emma, you didn't ask me to contribute a riddle."
"Your entire personality is a riddle, Mr. Knightley. I thought you overqualified."

- "Who will you dance with?"
"With you if you will ask me...after all...we are not brother and sister."
"Brother and Sister! No... Indeed we are not."

- "There were those who thought the wedding a little shabby..."
"I do not profess to be an expert in the field of fashion (though my friends say I have quite the eye) but I can tell you, there is a shocking lack of satin!"

- "The most incomprehensible thing in the world to a man is a woman who rejects his offer of marriage."

- "Try not to kill my dogs."

- "Thank you for being so thoughtful."
"No - thank you for thinking I am thoughtful."

- "I am the perfect state of warmness."

- "Now I need not call you Mr. Knightley. I may call you *my* Mr. Knightley."

- "How fascinating that any discordancy between us must always arise from *my* being wrong."
"Not fascinating, but true."

- "Is your horse just washing his feet or are the darker forces at work here?"
"The latter, I'm afraid. Something's happened to the wheel and I cannot move."
"You'll just have to live here then. Bye bye."

- "Oh dear!"
"What?"
"What? Oh... Something about the deer we need for the... the... venison stew."

- "Maybe it is our imperfections which make us so perfect for one another."

- "I love... I simply love..."
("Could this be? The declaration?")
"...celery root."

- "I can think of nothing less appealing than an evening of watching other people dance."
(throws stick for dog)
"Go on!"
"Then you shall have to dance yourself."
"I have no taste for it. I'd rather fetch that stick."
"I'll try to remember to bring it to the ball."
"I just want to stay here where it's cozy."

- "Men of sense, whatever you may say, do not want silly wives!"

- " I will not know how to behave when I see him."
"Let his behavior be your guide."
"Oh, but if he seems happy, I will know that he's decided to marry Harriet, and I will not, I know I will not be able to let him tell me. But if he seems sad, I'll know that John has advised him against it. I love John! Or he may seem sad because he fears telling me he will marry my friend. How can John let him do that? I hate John!"

- "No, Mr. Elton will be the next person to benefit from my help."
"Poor Miss Taylor indeed, it is Mr. Elton who deserves our pity!"

- " ...but it seemed to much to hope that even Harriet Smith could fall in love with more than three men in one year!"
