“And so ended his affection," said Elizabeth impatiently. "There has
been many a one, I fancy, overcome in the same way. I wonder who first
discovered the efficacy of poetry in driving away love!"

"I have been used to consider poetry as the food of love," said Darcy.

No, I don't know know who wrote it. I have a like a journal book that I just write a lot of sayings, quotes, poems, etc in that I like. One of my friends shared that with me in 6th grade and I loved it!

Salyna | 392 comments Side by side, or miles apart. Best friends are always close to the heart.:)

Yes, a friend would lend you an umbrella in the rain... but a true friend would take yours and say "RUN FOREST! RUN!"

If I could reach up and take a star for every time you have made me smile the entire night sky would be in the palm of my hand.

Megan | 92 comments Just watched Finding Nemo, so I have to post this. :D

Marlin(to Dory): I just can't afford anymore delays and you're one of those fish that causes delays. Sometimes it's a good thing. There's a whole group of fish; they're called delay fish.

Marlin(to Squirt): Look, you're really cute, kid, but I don't know what you're saying! Say the first thing again!

Marlin(after barracuda attack): There, there, there. It's okay, Daddy's here, Daddy's got you. I promise I will never let anything happen to you... Nemo.

Dory: Just keep swimming!

Dory: I suffer from short-term memory loss.
Marlin: Short-term memory loss? I don't believe this!
Dory: No, it's true! I forget things almost instantly. It runs in my family! Well I mean... at least... I think it does. Hum... Where are they? ...Can I help you?

Dory(to Marlin, talking about Nemo): That's a funny thing to promise. Well, you can't never let anything happen to him, then nothing would ever happen to him.

Dory: I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.

Dory(to Marlin): ...Are you my conscience?

Dory(sees Escape sign): Es-cah-pay!

The Shark Pledge: I am a nice shark. Not a mindless eatin' machine. If I am to change this image, I must first change myself. Fish are friends. Not food.

Nigel (when he meets Nemo): An outie! From my neck of the woods, eh? Sorry if I ever took a snap at ya. Fish gotta swim, birds gotta eat.

Crush(to Marlin): Oh, I saw the whole thing, dude! First, you were like, whoa! And then we were like, WHOA! And then you were like, whoa...
Marlin: What are you talking about?
Crush: You, Mini-Man! Takin' on the jellies. You got serious thrill issues, dude.

Crush(to Marlin): Oh, man. Hey, no hurling on the shell, dude, okay? Just waxed it.

Crush(introducing Marlin to Squirt): Jellyman, offspring; offspring, Jellyman.

Peach: (yawning) Morning. (gasps) It's morning, everyone! Today's the day! The sun is shining, the tank is clean, and we are getting out of — (gasps) — the tank is clean. THE TANK IS CLEAN!!!

Bubbles: Bubbles! My bubbles!

Sheldon (the seahorse): I'm H2O intolerant.

The Tank Gang (after Gill names Nemo): Shark-bait, HOO-HA-HA!

Marlin: Look! Already it's half empty.
Dory: Hmm. I'd say it's half full.
Marlin: Stop that! It's half empty!

Dory: How about we play a game?
Marlin: All right.
Dory: Okay, I'm thinking of something orange, and it's small...
Marlin: It's me.
Dory: Right!
[Later]
Dory: I'm thinking of something orange and small...
Marlin: It's me.
Dory: All right, Mr. Smartypants...
[Even later]
Dory: ...It's orange and small, and white stripes...
Marlin: Me. And the next one - just a guess - me.
Dory: Okay, that's just scary.

Mr. Turkentine: I've just decided to switch our Friday schedule to Monday, which means that the test we take each Friday on what we learned during the week will now take place on Monday before we've learned it. But since today is Tuesday, it doesn't matter in the slightest. Pencils ready!

whether or not you wear a jacket has nothing to do with the weather; it only depends on your mood. ♥
