I know I'm a day ahead, but I'm still just wondering what everyone has planned on their plates this month? For me I'm still slowly creeping my way through Deadhouse Gates, which is getting more enjoyable.

I'm currently in the 2nd book (Rise of Empire) of the Riyria Revelations, and the 3rd "book" (Elf Queen of Shannara) in the Heritage of Shannara omnibus. I should knock those out soon.
Currently going to start The Prince. It's pretty short so I'm sure I'll have another one going in March. I'm thinking Mrs. Dalloway By Virginia Wolf, Blood Bound by Patricia Briggs or a number of others. Those are just the ones right in front of me so I've been debating them the most.
I about half way through with House of Chains, really loving this series, its a challenge, but awesome. I was trying to read The Magicians, but could not get into it, just seemed very boring to me, anyways, I moved on to Sabriel which has gotten a lot of praise. Hope to finish HoC and move on to Midnight Tides.
I'm reading Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell along with A Feast for Crows. That one will take me the entire month to read and then on to Dance with Dragons in April. I want to finish up ASOIF before I begin a new series. Not sure what I will pick next though. Maybe the Gentleman Bastard series or re-starting WoT? I'm considering King's Dark Tower series as well. It's a tough decision! I am also on a zombie/PA kick so this month I am reading Deadline and listening to Infected.

LOve Shannara. I finished Rise of Empire and had to go straight on to Heir of Novron.

I don't know how to explain exactly how, but Sullivan's series is different or refreshing. It's like the people and places are somehow new and interesting, but also familiar in a good way. I love the dialog.
1. A Fall of Moondust - currently reading2. The Kraken Wakes
3. The Man Who Fell to Earth
if i have time left
4. Lies Of Locke Lamora or The Name of the Wind im undecided between these two.
Just started To Kill a Mockingbird -- it's been on my TBR list for about 35 years, so I thought it was about time. :) Planning to read Mexican WhiteBoy and hoping that I'll finally get The Night Circus from the library. I guess I should have requested it in October for a January read. And it looks like after a 2 month wait, Royal Assassin is finally in. Yay!
I've been reading a series of short stories. My favorite was a Neil Gaiman covering some Lovecraftian characters & found in one of those Best of 1997 Fantasy/Horror anthologies. It was surprisingly funny, something I hadn't noticed w/ him previously. I'll likely dive into some other short story collections my wife picked up from the library. She loves Dresden files, as do I, and gets any collections w/ Butcher writing. One has another short by Gaiman so that'll probably be my first story.
Well I hope to read Partials, A Game of Thrones and Sarah's Key ... but I know that somehow I'll end up reading something else LOL ... I'm highly susceptible to recommendations.
I am still reading
(really I took a break from it). Currently listening to
and
, and reading
. Other books for this month:
,
,
(book club),
(book club),
,
,and
(book club).
I've the last Mistborn book to read The Hero of Ages and also some indie books i downloaded onto my Kindle. I'm not joining in the book club this month but i am ready and waiting for April whenGraceling finally gets read i'm interested to see what all the hype is about :)
one thing I CANT do is read more books at the "same time"... so during period when I read one book, I dont read another one with plot... although I found that if I read a non-fiction book besides some fiction, those two dont really interfere... I guess it is just me wanting to stay focused on one fiction book and think about it before moving on :)
I played around with reading two books at the same time and realized it wasn't for me either. This month I will continue reading The Dark Tower. I'm on book V. Mostly seems like a rereading month. First up is The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms. Fool's Errand. And Mistborn. Might read The Eye of the World again too.
Ive just started Mistborn. Im finishing Cinder and Outlander. Shatter Me is waiting for me at the library and i just found an awesome book reviewed on tor.com that i cant wait to read, Mortal Love by Elizabeth Hand. Also bought E. Coopers Songs of the Earth!! So i doubt i finish everything this month!
I'm reading Memories of Ice (my first Malazan read through), Dauntless and The Windup Girl (with the Sci Fi Aficionados group), and I will be joining the Fantasy Book Club Series group read of the Mistborn series starting on March 15th. This is probably my most books read at once (three) but I am loving it and the Goodreads environment!

I loved Outlander ...
Nice choices!!!
I finished The Hunger Games last night. It was very good, however I wouldn't put it in the "best book in the universe" category. Still reading Percepliquis and The High King's Tomb. Over half way through both. Both have been great.
I just finished the audio version of Hyperion and wonder if Dan Simmons always writes such unsatisfactory endings. Finished Ship of Destiny and am more than halfway through Fool's Errand. Not sure what's up next.

It's a good solid juvenile fiction read, but I agree, not the best book in the universe though I'd argue that the series does a wonderful job of finishing a full arc. Nice, since many a trilogy will leave you hanging.

Just started The Night Circus and have to say it's really got me hooked.
Just finished A Storm of Swords: Steel and Snow and am now starting The Wise Man's Fear - very excited!
A quarter of the way through The Revenge of the Dwarves and just got The Walking Dead, Vol. 15: We Find Ourselves from the library so I expect I'll have that finished within the next half hour. Debating between The Wise Man's Fear, Bleak House and Iron Warriors: The Omnibus. I have a feeling I will end up reading the Rothfuss.
I'm reading The Magician King at the moment, and then The Darkening Dream possibly later this month.
I'm in the middle of Ptolemy's Gate and after that I plan to read Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell for this club's discussion. Then possibly a Stephen King novel, as I haven't read one of his novels in a while.
I just started reading The Hero of Ages by Brandon Sanderson and after that I might read Tigana by Guy Gavriel Kay or The Dark Tower by Stephen King.. Not sure yet..

I just finished Tiganaand The Osiris Ritual and picked up the paperback edition of The Wise Man's Fear, which I started on the train this morning.
i am absolutely struggling through Gardens of the Moon right now, and still waiting for something to hook me in. otherwise to "the inheritance trilogy" i'll go.
Reading The Alloy of Law By Brandon Sanderson ..
It's really good stuff, the ending of the original trilogy left me with a bit of an empty feeling, so i have postponed reading it for some time.. There was no need though, this story is totally different and reads as kind of a fusion between a western and the previous novels.. It also has sort of a Urban Fantasy feel to it, which i like..
Jesse wrote: "i am absolutely struggling through Gardens of the Moon right now, and still waiting for something to hook me in. otherwise to "the inheritance trilogy" i'll go."I have struggled with that too.. read half of it, then dropped it because i still felt the whole situation was more confusing than entertaining, and now it's just so hard to really get into it again.. I'm considering just reading the summary of it, and try my luck with the next book in the line.. (I hate rereading stuff i've already read once, and found boring)..
started Pán Prstenú a filozofie (Lord of the Rings and Philosophy) and today I plan on reading the char lists, appendices and maps and such things in Gardens of the Moon, as a preparatory phase
Currently reading the Night Angel trilogy, right now book 2. After those The Dwarfs by Markus Heitz.

I believe if you look at the reviews you will find many people saying the same thing. GotM is a difficult read. I had heard this prior to beginning the book so I expected to have some troubles, but as you progress, the story slowly comes together, not all the way mind you, and gets much better. The 2nd and 3rd books are great, IMO and I am currently finishing up with the 4th. I think its like Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series on steroids.
@Mab: if you do want to just read a review of GotM, check out the reread for the series on Tor.com. Each of the first 5 books have very thorough and well written summaries.

I just starred reading Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell. Fantasywise I think that will be it for me this month.

Yess i read the reviews noting the difficulty of GotM. But i dont view it as difficulty understanding, its more the author made a conscious decision to leave the reader grasping the the dark. Ive decided to put it to the side. I enjoy reading large "epic" fantasy series. But after attempting the ffirst 200 pages of GotM ive become annoyed. And i need something more to get me to lock in on a 10 book series. I intend to pick up book 2 at some point in the future.
I finished reading The Prince and Blood Bound. Yesterday I started Druids by Morgan Llywelyn. I don't think I'll get through this one as quick as the other two though.
reading GotM and today I am on finishing book I: Pale, so I can proceed to book II: Darujhistan tomorrow :)
Finished Percepliquis last night. It was great. I'll miss reading about these characters. Now I've started The Alloy of Law.
I struggled through GOTM a little while ago as people told me that "it gets better". I got just over halfway through book 2 Deadhouse Gates but just wasn't enjoying it so put it down (which I rarely do). I may get back to it at a later date but I have many other books to read first I think !I'm currently reading The Desert Spear by Peter V Brett and realling enjoying it.
ok got successfully and unharmed through book I of GotM, pretty good so far... will see how the book II is :P
