Year 9 , whats that 9th grade or you were 9?"
9th grade like after 8th grade then comes tenth lol

Year 9 , whats that 9th grade or you wer..."
I'm in 9th grade and we just finished the book, and we have to do a test on it , so we are watching the movie for a review of the book :P
I read it for my 7th grade class, I loved it.

Yes I read this book in high school

Yeah it's good, sticks pretty close to the book too. But of coarse the book is always better :)

I think it's a stand out for the gritty realism of poverty and the streets which is way more common now, but less so, I believe, in the era when it was written. It really shows what life is like for 'the other half'.

I read it in year 9, and didn't take too much liking to it.
The only interesting part was the end for me. I still liked it, however.

I had to read this in eighth grade two years ago. I hated it. Here's my review
9th grade, freshman year of high school, though I had already read it.
