Sorry, the one by Kelly Creagh from the bookshelf underalternate-universe. I'm almost done I'll post my review tonight :)
Nevermore by Kelly Creagh (free space, bookshelf read)Definitely 5 out of 5 stars, if I could give it more I would.
I loved this book! It's like nothing I've ever read before. Ms. Creagh has created a unique and original world in this one.
I've never really thought of or had an interst in Poe before, but this book has changed that and I may have to go and read some of his work.
Isobel and Varen. The cheerleader and the goth boy. Who would have thought that could work. It did and beautifully. They were both well fleshed out and believeable. The world building was amazing and the plot was interesting, mysterious and kept you guessing the whole time. Is it a dream or reality? The ending ugh what can I say except I can't wait for the second book to see what she has in store for Varen and Isobel.
Woo Hoo!!! I finished my Free Space book!!
3 of 5 starsI wasn't drawn into this book as much as I was the first book of this series. Things didn't pick up until the last few chapters.
Tricks started out strong. She was funny and I wanted to root for her. But as the book went on, I lost interest in her. Tiago was an alpha male I didn't like. It's one thing to be protective and another to act like an overbearing ass. Bleh! I just couldn't get into him.
I want to finish reading the rest of the series, but if I have to sift through 15 chapters just to get to the good stuff, I might pass.
Not sure what I'm gonna read for this one....nothing on my PBS pile fits. :(Gonna make a list of possibles - maybe something will spark an interest!
Now to decide......really need something I can read quickly. Either because it is short or because it sucks you in so much you can't put it down. LOL Recommendations?
I know what you mean Cindy. I get that way too.Gil's All Fright Diner and Past Midnight look like good reads.
I have no idea yet, what to read for this shelf. Apart from
and
I have nothing at home that fits, and I'm not sure if I want to read those. Might go for a trip to the library and see what they have to offer.Cindy,
is fantastic!

Good Job!! :D
Here ya go!
2 of 5 starsUm, okaaaaay.
I don't know where to begin because there was so much going on. Do I talk about the fact that the Jason was kind of wimpy or that Merry was a tad bit annoying? The rest of the characters seem to be matter of fact in the whole book. I was this close to tossing the book in the trash and starting another one, but I finished this anyway.
I think I like pain.
Review: First Grave On The Right 5/5Charley Davidson is a private investigator who is snarky, funny and THE Grim Reaper. She not only sees the dead she crosses them over. Shes also been having hot dreams about the son of the devil. I can't wait to see what happens between Charley and Reyes as the series goes on. Although I would like to see Swopes take a stronger role in the books with Charley and see where that heads. I also liked the funny t-shirt and bumper sticker sayings at the beginning of each chapter. I will definitely be reading the next book in this series.

I went back and changed all my review posts.
Thanks! :)
Finished my Ghost book!
★★★★ 18/02/12I didn't really expect too much from this book, as I haven't enjoyed most YA paranormals that I read lately. So I was pleasantly surprised when the story drew me in rather quickly. Evie was a really likeable girl (once I got over her fetish for the colour pink ;) ) and a great, witty narrator. There were no awkward love triangles or the usual over the top teenage angst. The world and characters were interesting and I'm already looking forward to the next instalment.
Yay!!! New shelf!I'm going to read Lothaire by Kresley Cole! Woo hoo! I've been waiting to read this one.
Jessica, I finished my book for the Free Space (message 77).
That means we can get another stamp!
*back flips*

Unholy Ghosts by Stacia Kane took me by surprise. Never expected to feel sympathetic towards a heroine who is a drug abuser. She is an incredibly powerful Debunker for the Church. I kept thinking just how much more effective she could have been if she wasn't so high all the time.....but then again, she wouldn't have known the people she knew, or most likely even lived Downside, so without the drug use, the story would have never happened. At least not in the way it did. And I loved the way it happened. Definitely will continue with the series.

Half-Blood (Covenant #1) 5/5 I love Jennifer Armentrout's books. Alex is awsome. She's funny, sarcastic, and doesn't take crap from anyone. After returning to the Covenant after 3 yrs she is put with Adien to catch her up on all the training that she lost over those 3 yrs. Adien is a Pure and Alex is a half so their feelings for each other are forbidden by the laws of the Council. Besides her feelings for Adien Alex must deal with the face that her mother was not killed that night in Miami. She was turned into a Daimon. She believes that it is her responsibility to kill her mom. Then along comes Seth, Alex's fated other half. Which brings a whole new issue for Alex to deal with. I really like Seth and hope that him and Alex do end up together.
I can't wait for Pure in April!
5 of 5 stars
The bad guy is always my favorite guy. Personally, I think they're always misunderstood.
Lothaire isn't crazy. He just needs a therapist.
And what do you know, it just so happens that Elizabeth has a degree in psychology.
This has always been my favorite series. So much goes on in each book and I'm never left feeling like I'm hanging. One of these days I plan to re-read to catch all the stuff I missed the first time around.

Succubus Revealed by Richelle Mead is unfortunately the last in this series. It has been a wild ride for Georgina and Seth. Lots of ups and downs thru the previous books. Even more ups and downs here, but, it's their last chance......
If you wanna know what happens - READ THIS BOOK! I personally LOVED the ending, but I am so sad to see it end.
Favourite Series:
★★★★★ 25/02/12This one had a bit of a slow start for me, but once the story got going, I loved it just as much as all the other books. The story centres mainly around Mercy and Adam and the rest of the characters have hardly any page time at all. That didn't bother me as much as I would have thought though, because there was plenty of action and interesting new characters to meet. Mercy also finds out a lot more about her native heritage.
Lovely reviews, ladies! Thanks. One request, please be sure to add the date you finished reading to your reviews. Thanks!!
Make that two requests. Jessica, you forgot to add your book title to your review...
Jessica wrote: "I have just been guessing the dates in aus time lol"Jessica, don't worry about guessing the date, just use the actual date. Steph, Judithe & I are all on Aus time, Japan is only 2 hours (daylight savings) behind us.
You guys have daylight savings time? We don't...seemed strange when I first moved here...but I do NOT mind not having the hassle with clocks on walls, DVD players, rice cookers, and so on and so on... And thanks for the updates!
Judithe wrote: "You guys have daylight savings time? Though for those in Qld its still only 1 hr cause they don't DST. LOL
