the shelves would have books that we must read? or can we read books of our own choosing based on the shelf name?
Midu, you must read a book from the shelf listed, if the book isn't on the shelf it doesn't count. Saying that each shelf has more than 1000 books, some more than 2000. So I'm sure you'll find something to read :)

ROFLMFAO!!!! WTH?! Where'd that dude come from?! I'm going to delete those posts within the threads now b/c they probably all show a big "Pic no longer exists" or some freaky a$$ dude staring at us. ICK ICK ICK!
*drags in two large trunks and runs around crazily throwing items into the trunks* Ok. I got the nunchuks, fire proof clothing, sword and shield, extra comfy pillow, cupcakes, caffeinated beverages, smoke bombs, iPod and earbuds..... I know it looks like a lot, but if past Bingo rounds are any indication, I'm going to need to be prepared for anything. :-D

Something New in R4Personal shelves added
In addition to linking to Goodreads shelves, I've created five "personal shelves" for R4. For these shelves, players will be able to use their personal TBR shelves to choose a book.
Personal Shelves & Rules:
✯ Reader's Choice ~ choose any book, your choice (in series, stand-alone, any genre)
✯ New2You: Author ~ choose a book written by an author you have never read; include w/review: if you will read add'l bks by this author in the future
✯ New2You: Series ~ choose a book (#1) in a series you have not yet started; include w/review: if you will read add'l bks in this series in the future
✯ Favorite Series ~ choose a book from one of your favorite series
✯ Favorite Supe ~ choose a book with one (or more) of your favorite types of supernaturals (ie: vampire, shifter, dragon, etc.); include w/review: which supe(s) were in your chosen book
NOTE: You may choose a book either currently on your GR shelves or on-hand, but not added to GR. You will have to add it once you're "currently reading" it.

* All books should be a minimum of 200 pgs. All others are more of a novella.
* Graphic novels are not accepted.
Glad you like it, Jessica. I thought it would be a fun addition since we are all trying to read the books we have on our massive TBR piles and they are not always on the called shelves.

Silly question!Steph, you mentioned that the books are to be chosen from 24 shelves...are those already identified or randomly selected from all of GR shelves? Somehow I missed that one.

When the teams are posted, a Bingo card for each team will also be posted in that team's thread. Shelves have already been selected, but the shelf names can't be seen until they are listed on the team Bingo cards....so, you'll have to wait just a little bit more to see all of the shelves!

The usual places that I've seen/had it are Chinese restaurants. LOL

Our Chinese restaurants are usually just banana fritters - occasionally pineapple ones if they're feeling exotic. Some chip shops do sell deep-fried chocolate bars though. I've never had one of those either.
