Christina Greer (christina_greer) | 1 comments Hi,
I am seeking reviewers for my debut YA fiction book, Everything's Jake, which will be released on May 16. I'm looking for anyone willing to review & post on Amazon, B&N, Facebook, Twitter & Goodreads.

For a sneak peak you can go to christinagreerwrites.com or email me at cagreer67@gmail.com to let me know how I can get it to you. Here's a little bit about my book...

Young Adult

What had started out as one small panic attack has morphed into something else entirely for Jake Forest. One more Google search, one more squirt of hand sanitizer will surely keep him safe. In control. Alive. Jake’s obsessions spiral him out of control as he begins lying to keep those close to him in the dark about his irrational thoughts.

Told through inner dialogues, conversations with a therapist and plot-twisting emails from a mysterious girl he meets on a plane, Jake must decide which battle is worth fighting. Is his desire to appear strong, normal, and in control more important than admitting that he suffers from mental illness? Is he willing to jeopardize his relationship with Summer, his father, and his friends to maintain this perception of control?

G.M. O'Neill | 21 comments Atoma and the Blockchain by Gerard O'Neill

Hello,

I have a very recently published YA science fiction book wanting reviews. This is a 300 page Book One of the Atoma series.

The year is 2050, and Earth planet is controlled by a single corporation that uses AI to monitor and control the population. Atoma is about to turn 16, and like all in her age group, she must attend a ceremony in her town to receive her Bricard. That is what should happen. Instead, disaster strikes.

Here's a brief synopsis.

When my school's air-shuttle crashes, the miracle of modern AI saves me, but it also discovers the secret my mother has been hiding from everyone my entire life. I'm not legally human, and that means I have no rights and no citizenship. I am a Zero. I am given a choice. I can slave in a work camp on the frozen tundra, or train in a secretive facility for a high-risk expedition with other Zeroes. If I take my chances on a suicide mission, I'll probably die. If I don't, my life will be short and hard. That's some choice, right? It's a good thing there are a few flaws in their plans, and one of those is me.

Message me if you are interested.

Rohat Kharvari | 6 comments My book is about a life journey of a boy who is adopted by boxing, his invisible political fight and the recent scandals surrounding the sport. (I have written synopsis). My attempt with this book is to create characters which resonate with people we know or have come across in our lives.

I was inspired by the idea of this book when I met a young Iraqi boxer in Sofia, Bulgaria during the world junior boxing championship. I was then working for the governing body of boxing overseeing the tournament. This young boy came to me asking for help with his torn passport and record book, which is required to compete in the world championships. My conversation with him led me to an intriguing journey of his life in Iraq and his love for boxing.

This conversation sat in my heart for over 2 years until I decided to write a story based on him and all the political scandals I witnessed during my time working at the governing body. I fictionalized some of the scandals and events to fit in the storyline. I have tried my best to map real-world events and boxing scandals to this story masking them with fictional details. It took me many hours to write the story on a paper and then migrating it into a digital format, I did this every day while traveling to meetings to build a business.

This is my first book, I felt compelled to write about that Iraqi boy and the politics of sport.

I am posting the synopsis to get your feedback.

P. Ely | 5 comments Hi everyone!

I'm looking for ARC reviewers for my first ever novel which is coming out on the 8th of May 2019. Synopsis as below:

Baltimore Station Widower

“It's a personal request. The client is on the phone right now.”
“Dani?”
It's been twelve years since Danielle Anderson left her broken heart in Baltimore, courtesy of childhood flame Charles Wood. She's moved on, started work as a lawyer, settled down, at least that's what she tells herself, as she orbits Baltimore from a distance, burying herself in cases no one wants, unable to bring herself to visit the city she loves.
Then Charles uses his one call to phone her. He's in custody in a station she knows so well, accused of a crime that all the evidence says he committed. The murder of his wife, the woman he left Danielle for twelve years ago.
She swears to herself that she'll keep it professional, that this isn't a second chance, it's just the case of a life time with the entire world watching.

“I didn't love my wife, but that doesn't mean I killed her.”
It's been twelve years since Charles Wood made the biggest mistake of his life. Walking away from Danielle Anderson and into the arms of Megan. With the local police certain he killed one of their best, he knows only one woman capable of saving him from prison and his son from the same foster system he went through in his youth. An agony he'll do anything to protect Jack from, all he needs is a second chance.

“Then you have to tell me everything.”
All they have to do is resist the old memories, ignore the sparks and remain professional. But nothing is that easy when old wounds and dead police officers are involved.

Andrew Pine (andrewpine) | 1 comments Hi all!

I'm looking for honest & constructive reviews for my first novel, which I published a few weeks ago.

Synopsis: After being fired and having to look for a job to support his family, middle-aged Peter Jeffries drives around Boston becoming increasingly annoyed by traffic problems and bad drivers. He decides to do something about it and becomes the Note Man, placing notes to warn drivers of their behavior. This quickly leads him into the path of a crime organization, and he will have to decide on whether to do what he thinks is right or protect his family.

It's a slow burner at first, but it quickly picks up the pace and becomes an action thriller.

I'm hoping it's a quick and entertaining read, and hopefully it's relatable with anybody who have ever found themselves having to look for a job, and/or people who get annoyed if the car in front forgets to use its blinkers when making a turn.

If you like this genre, I'd love to have some feedback! Even if it's negative! Message me your contact and I can send you a copy on pdf/mobi. Or you can check the link below.

Thank you,
Andrew.

What Will Be Made Plain (TSU Press 2019)
What Will Be Made Plain

Please contact me, Latayne C. Scott, at Latayne@Latayne.com if you would consider reviewing a Kindle copy of this book:

From the multiple award-winning author of A Conspiracy of Breath, Latayne C. Scott, comes the unforgettable story of a love that transcends time and space-- and even death.

“Not your typical Amish fiction. This is a powerful, intriguing story, rife with tension, written with Latayne's masterful touch. From the opening line to the gripping conclusion, this is a novel that will haunt you.” -- Sharon K. Souza, author of What We Don't Know and Annie Walker

"Mesmerizing. . . emotions running so high as her family's secrets are revealed that I had to remember to breathe. Lovely and haunting.” -- Amazon #1 Best-Selling Author L.B. Johnson, author of The Book of Barkley

In What Will Be Made Plain, Leah Mohn’s charismatic Amish father moves a whole community two counties away to make a fresh start with his version of the simple life, and Leah finds much that is comforting and secure. But her dead mother appears to her in dreams, urging her to some sort of action, and no one can help Leah get answers about what her heritage says about the supernatural. Handsome visitor Matthaus Lescher is Amish, too—but his input about the undead, and his own involvement with the Goth culture—leave her with even more questions, and an inevitable head-on collision with her faith and her sanity.

John | 2 comments Hello everyone! I'm looking for some ARC reviewers to read my book, Instruments of War (Second Edition).

description

It is a military sci-fi novel that delves in the future application of technology and ethics when humanity and her allies are pitted against the implacable insectoid race known as the Jaari.

Synopsis: "The human led United Planetary Coalition has been attacked by the insect like race known as the Jaari. Outmanned and outgunned, the UPC is forced to create the Avatar initiative in order to combat the vicious Jaari. Comprised of prison convicts, the Avatar recruits are promised a chance at redemption for their crimes, and to be turned into super soldiers that can turn the tide of the war. But as they will find out, the second chance might not be worth the new hell they’ll discover."

I have some reviews for the first edition, which can be found here: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

"I felt like I did when I saw A New Hope for the first time. Thank you, Mr. Briggs for such a fun ride." -Tinthia

"There are some very surprising and interesting plot twists that affect how the characters behave and how they see themselves and how they view the war effort itself." -Laura Koerber

"The plot - on the whole, it kept me interested if somewhat horrified and on an emotional roller coaster." -Jeanette

As some reviewers pointed out, my original editor made several significant errors while editing, and I have taken some time to fix the issues. The novel is sure to be a fun ride for the sci-fi and military crowd.

PM me if you would like a copy for ARC purposes. I have pdf, mobi and epub ready to go.

Edit: My book should be launching February 26th, 2020.

Title: The Poison of War
Author: Jennifer Leeper
Page Count: 111
Publisher: Prensa Press
Publication Date: Nov. 19, 2019
The Poison of War

Two Mexican drug smugglers are murdered on Native American soil and the only clues left behind are two single arrowheads in this compelling page-turner of tribal secrets and distrust at the border.

When detective Frank Silva of the Tohono O'odham Nation arrived at the scene of the crime he immediately feared his investigation would require him to turn inward—to his own people—in search of the killer.
A complex web of lies, love and intrigue in the heart of the reservation pulls readers into a place and time in limbo straddling the U.S.-Mexican border which is struggling to retain its heritage and independence.
The novella’s setting of the American Southwest, particularly on a Native American reservation, and the style and cultural background of the detective protagonist draw resemblances to Tony Hillerman’s works including Dance Hall of the Dead and The Blessing Way. For fans of Leeper’s work and fortuitous newcomers, The Poison of War is a stunning tale that highlights timely issues of the U.S.-Mexico border, immigration, drug trafficking and the reservation culture of the Tohono O’odham tribe.

In life or Boxing, make a choice don't be neutral, else someone will make a choice for you.

I didn't want to write this story but I couldn't keep it inside myself for long, it just didn't feel right
I grew up with war around me, boxing came as a savior in my life. It took me years to put these memories together, some of you will remember them with lots of emotion running in your blood.

More than the opponent boxer, I fought with adversarial politics within the sporting world to reach the top of the game.

While writing this book over many years, I spent sleepless hungry nights putting every thought in my mind onto paper, choosing them was endless fight within me.

This book is dedicated to the boxer within all of us, we all are fighters, we fight to survive, many times we are knocked out by the political system, tough choices, but our only option is to get up before the countdown and push forward step by step.

My journey through this book starts in Iraq , travels thousand miles arcoss the world, during this journey i met many heroes who gave me a lift whenever i was down, many of them played a key role in my life and career.

I hope that you enjoy reading this book and sincerely wish that it gives you a reason to never give up come what may.

If you would like a book in exchange for a review email me at wandawhitfield8789@comcast.net and I will be happy to send you a copy.

Sun and Shadow: Beneath the Waves

When Dr. Dai Kendrick is invited to be the keynote speaker at The Intergalactic Anthropological Association’s annual convention, he sees it is as the perfect opportunity for shifter and sensi to take some well-deserved time off from their demanding schedules. This year's gathering is being held on Oceanus, a closed world populated by an amphibious race of scientists and scholars. Invitations to Oceanus are highly coveted in the academic world. Few people make it to the planet’s surface, and even fewer are allowed to meet the Oceanus people.
The water world’s one remaining continent has been preserved as a wilderness sanctuary. The unspoiled nature and isolation make it the perfect place for the shifter to let his inner dragon run free without having to worry about innocent bystanders coming to harm. For the empath, solitude and nature are a healer’s best medicine.

When Captain Chavez’s plans to take his son Michael on a fishing trip hits a snag, Dai invites father and son to accompany them on the trip. Eric would get to spend some quality time with his son and Michael would get exposure to a unique culture. It was the perfect solution. After all, what could possibly happen on a closed world full of academics?

When one of the visiting scholars is found dead, the idyllic visit changes to a fight for survival. The Oceanians and Rangers have forty-eight standard earth hours to find the murderer and turn him over to the Mantidae or face retribution. Mantidae honor demands blood for blood. Oceanus either finds the killer or the Mantidae will destroy all life in the sea.

Meanwhile, Wessington’s forces draw closer. Dai Kendrick is the key to power, a power Wessington will do anything to possess.

In this exciting, character-driven police procedural by acclaimed author Gary Corbin, rookie policewoman Valorie Dawes has a mission: take serial child molesters like Richard Harkins off the streets of her small hometown of Clayton, CT--for good.

But Valorie's past includes childhood abuse trauma of her own, and her battle with this cunning, vicious criminal awakens memories and emotions she'd rather forget.

Battling sexism within the department and vilification in the media as a reckless incompetent, Val finds few allies in the pursuit of this elusive, cruel criminal, even as he continues to victimize women and girls in the community.

Can Valorie overcome the trauma she suffered as a child and stop Harkins from hurting others--or will her bottled-up anger lead her to take reckless risks that put the people she loves in greater danger?

Scott LaPierre (scottlapierre) Looking for reviewers for my next book, Work and Rest God's Way. Christian nonfiction taken largely from my sermons.

You can download the ARC here: https://booksprout.co/arc/21466/work-...

If you have any trouble or want the ARC another way, please let me know: https://scottlapierre.org/contact/

Read the Introduction of Work and Rest God's Way to have a better idea what the book is about: https://scottlapierre.org/work-and-re....

In an effort to give readers time to read the book and write a review prior to publication, I must provide a manuscript that isn't the finished product; therefore, there might be a few (although hopefully not many!) errors.

If you're interested in serving as a beta reader, please let me know if you find anything while you're reading that would be helpful for me, i.e. grammar mistakes and/or errors in consistency. Typically I mention beta readers by name in the Acknowledgments and thank them for their help.

My prayer has been that God will use this book in people's lives to bless them and draw them closer to Christ. Please join me in praying the same!

God bless,
Scott

Angela Jariwala (webbiewanderers) | 2 comments Veneer

Hey guys

I really hope that that I am in the right place to find reviewers? Fingers and toes crossed!

My novel is called Veneer. While it's my 3rd novel (my other two were YA fifteen published in the 1990s), I put it on Amazon Kindle as the feedback from publishers was that they weren't sure how to pitch this to retailers. As it's very current, I didnt want it to become dated.

Overview

"Happy Anniversary from Facebook!

The message popped up on Amy’s screen like a surprise guest. How did neurotic, idealistic Amy ever manage to get through life before Facebook? And where is John, her husband of 25 years? Or was that 89p anniversary card the sum total of his affection for Amy?

Her social media-addicted niece Jade has her own challenges to contend with over the lack of likes (of Instagram followers) and appreciation for her gym body. And if only the gorgeous Justin would acknowledge her presence.

Nayna, the council’s social media officer appreciates their frustrations but then it’s her job to deal with the highs and - mainly - lows of resident engagement. She figures that the Internet owes her love - in the shape of online dating. Yet the giant ginger-haired computer programmer Dmitry is too shy for social media and real people, and his lonely existence revolves around his widowed-mother.

Set in a fictional London borough in England, Veneer is a bittersweet story about being so distracted by the demands of social media and technology that we lose sight of what we hold most dear in our lives."

It's 284 pages, humorous yet emotional with a lot of references to social media.

If you are available please let me know and I can send a code to redeem the ebook.

Many thanks
Angela x

Dave Williams | 100 comments Sineria The Great Kingdom by Dave J. Williams

Hello. I am the author of Medieval fantasy Sineria: The Great Kingdom. This is the first book in what I hope to be a series of new adventures.

When Hayden, a young, poverty-stricken Sinerian hears of an abandoned land harboring riches, he ventures off to the land, risking his life against dragons, monsters, wild animals, natural disasters, and more. Meanwhile, Sineria is soon threatened by a mad sorcerer who seeks to make the kingdom his own. Hayden has the courage and the weapon to help bring down the sorcerer, but he must survive his own threats, if possible.

I have a .pdf file of the book that I can send. While I do prefer a 2-4 week period, I do understand if it takes longer. Reading this entry to a fantastic world of mythical wonders and epic action will be sure to entertain.

With the help of his lifelong friend Eldryn, the Cavalier hopeful, and an uneasy bargain with a dagger wielding cutpurse, Roland pursues a wizard of unknown powers and a woman of uncommon beauty and skill.

Will Roland’s vanity not only doom him, but a kingdom he hoped to one day serve as well?

In Roland’s world of Stratvs, vanity has a high price. A price paid with the blood of the innocent and the guilty. Around him, swords once pledged to justice rust on the altars of the self-righteous.

P. Ely | 5 comments Looking for reviewers for my new second novel; The Last Servant of Braebyrn
Link below the blurb:

Sometimes our past lead us to our future.
It was supposed to be a simple flight to England to dig through the old archives at Braebyrn house, but Lois is about to discover much more than some dusty paperwork.

In this wholesome and heartwarming contemporary romance, Lois Brant, no-nonsense businesswoman and owner of a Pittsburgh steel factory, is determined to uncover her family’s past. An intriguing document concerning a loan of £50,000 leads her to the North of England where the Braebyrn family home sits on the borderlands of Scotland, covered in mystery and falling into disrepair. But when Lois meets Benton, the handsome caretaker, her future begins to become just as important as her family’s past.

When Braebyrn begins to reveal its secrets, Lois and Benton discover a love story from the 1920s that’s as full of passion as it is heartache. Caught between her desire to remain behind the protective walls she’s built around herself or let them collapse and embrace a chance at a future she never thought possible, Lois must decide what’s most important to her--a successful career in America or the crumbling, stately Braebyrn home and its charming caretaker.

With the past spilling out into the open, will Lois finally find the answers she so desperately needs and be brave enough to embrace the beginnings of her own love story?

After escaping his order’s persecution, and having the role of savior thrust upon him, he and Cypriot apprentice tanner Shayla Kostas discover the boundaries between good and evil are not where they’d thought.
Seven centuries later, Rick Lambert’s investigation into Christian priest abductions in Iraq grows in scope after he’s given a cryptic Roman gaming stone. Richard Dowling | 3 comments Hello, I'm Richard J. Dowling and I write science fiction that brings a smile to lifeforms across the universe.

I have 19 copies available of my upcoming SF adventure "How to Sell the Stars" for beta readers/reviewers.

Synopsis:-

In the future, everything you want is free. But there's still a price to be paid...

1955. Ambitious young copywriter Leap Hamilton dreams of one day leaving the pleasant but bland Knuckleville for a top New York advertising agency. His dreams turn into a nightmare, however, when he is plucked through time by Machiavellian AI, Isaac, to the year 2120.

It is a future where every wish is granted. A world where Isaac knows everyone's likes and preferences. Unfortunately, this paradise has spoiled Humanity, robbing people of their drive and intelligence.

Galaxy-spanning trade organisation, the Unity, are considering Earth as a candidate for entry. They are deeply suspicious, however, of dumb Humans and the AI that leads them. Trials are devised to test Humanity's worthiness. Only Leap Hamilton, a man from the past, has the skills to save Earth's future. All he has to do is sell products made by Humans—the worst-made goods in the universe.

Will he succeed and lead Humanity to a glittering future among the stars? Or will our entire solar system be obliterated by a Unity EMG bomb?

How to Sell the Stars is a fun, sci-fi satire from advertising industry insider Richard J. Dowling.

Valeriy Bagrintsev (architeg) | 2 comments Hello, everyone! My name is Valeriy, I'm a new author and also looking for reviews for my non-fiction (architecture and photography) book - Tadao Ando's Church of the Light.

Tadao Ando's Church of the Light by Valeriy Bagrintsev

What do we look at? The wall or the cross, which is not really there?

Architecture has always distinguished itself from other art forms because it plays a functional as well as an aesthetic role, offering shelter, of course, but also shaping our daily experiences. This book attempts to give another perspective on contemporary architecture that affects our daily experiences, shaping the way we perceive the space and the world around us.

Almost 30 people from all over the world who visited the place in different years took part in crafting this book by sharing photo-memories of the Church as they saw it during their journey.

You can download the ARC here till 5-Dec https://booksprout.co/arc/25093/tadao...

This book is 124 pages long with a lot of photography and only 6000-word count total (abt 13 text pages), so it is easy to read and should not takes much time to complete it.

Thank you for you time and Have a nice reading!
