Here is a little bit about it:
Ruby Side Thompson, an ordinary woman living during the World War ll London Blitz bombing blasts history out of the realm of dry, dusty names and dates and places the reader in the midst of the terrifying events as they unfold. This is very important documentation and will have tremendous appeal to those who have an avid interest in the effect of the war on ordinary citizens.
In between the lines there is a glimpse of how life must go even in Britain-at-war as she deals with health issues, in-laws, censors, rationing and fashion. An excellent look at one woman's view of World War II from before the war to England's darkest hour.
About World War ll London Blitz Diaries:
Recently published two books on amazon.com that are both in print and kindle form. The books are diaries written by Ruby Side Thompson detailing both her personal and historical experience living in London during the World War Two London Bombing Blitz. They will be a series of four. Volumes 3 and 4 will be published in 2012.

This is an historical fiction account of the Civil War battle of Shiloh following four soldiers through their experiences and lives through the battle. It is a day by day account, from each character's POV and strives to impart something of the time period through each unique experience, from both a northern and southern point of view on the war and the issues of the day.

The Goodwill Grimoire

Looking for reviews for my memoir, Will Love For Crumbs.
Raised by an alcoholic mother and without a father, Jonna learned at a young age to put her needs on the back-burner. After her mother dies of cancer, she goes on a spiritual journey looking for enlightenment and a purpose for her life. Eventually, she ends up as a volunteer in the relief effort following Hurricane Ike. There she meets a man who will forever change her life.
In the swamps of Louisiana and the hills of Arkansas, Jonna follows her heart to build a life with an American hero - a 20 year veteran of the Army Special Forces. Only after uprooting her whole life, leaving everything and everyone she knows behind, do the pieces of this fairytale start to unravel. Realizing the man of her dreams is actually the stuff of nightmares; Jonna must once again go within and discover why she is a woman willing to love for crumbs.
If you email me at jonna@jonnaivin.com and let me know what you think your time frame is, I can send you a mobi file or epub file for your ereader
Thanks and have an amazing day!!

I'm looking for reviewers for my new Kindle novel Stagger Bay.
Markus, Stagger Bay’s protagonist, is a man who overcame a horrendous childhood and criminal youth to go straight and raise a family. His violent past makes him an easy fall guy to frame for a gruesome mass murder and he’s sentenced to life without parole, losing his family in the process.
Exonerated and freed on DNA evidence after seven years, Markus is shortly thrust into a bloody do-or-die fracas during an elementary school hostage situation, becoming an overnight hero. Everyone wants in on the media feeding frenzy; to his dismay, paparazzi and news crews hound him wherever he goes. Unfortunately they’re not the only ones stalking him.
Can Markus find the path back into his estranged son’s heart? What’s Markus supposed to do, when he discovers fifteen minutes of fame is the worst thing that could ever happen to him? What can he do, now that his town is hunting ground to serial killers and rogue cops working together – and the shadowy force behind them is turning its cold, deadly eye straight at him?
Stagger Bay is a battle of wills, where every moral choice seems only to increase the body count. It’s in the tradition of Paul Cain’s break-neck-paced Fast One, or Geoffrey Household’s feral man-against-the-world Rogue Male. Stagger Bay should appeal to readers looking for a fast paced, hyper-violent thriller.
Ken Bruen (author of Blitz starring Jason Statham; and of London Boulevard, soon to be a major motion picture): “Stagger Bay proves what noir purists have known for a long time: Pearce Hansen is the new Prince of Noir. For years he’s been turning out stunning nuggets of sheer black gold, and now he finally comes into his ascendancy with this mesmerizing novel.
“Imagine James Ellroy coupled with George R. R. Martin and overseen by Charles Willeford. But PH really needs no comparison to any other writer; he’s created his own compelling dark universe that ratchets up noir to an astonishing level.”
Jason Starr (bestselling author of The Pack and The Follower): "Pearce Hansen is the real deal, the Edward Bunker of our generation. Stagger Bay is a searing, powerful, heartbreaking novel, and an important contribution to contemporary crime fiction literature."
Anthony Neil Smith (Editor of Plots with Guns!, Associate Editor of the Mississippi Review, and author of All the Young Warriors): "Pearce is a wild man, and demands your attention. Hansen is definitely one of the gonzo crowd and deserves a stage with a loud amplifier and some bright lights."
Author Pearce Hansen grew up on the crazy streets of the East Bay. Inspired by the roller coaster experiences of a misspent youth, he’s been writing for 16 years with over 80 publications, and three Kindle books currently available at Amazon. His first novel Street Raised was blurbed by Joe Lansdale, Eddie Muller and Laird Barron, and received a favorable review in the SF Chronicle.

I'm looking for people interested in reviewing my mg fantasy adventure novel, Dragonfriend: Leonard the Great, Book One
I would ask you to post your review in the usual places -- on Amazon, B&N, Goodreads, and SW. If you do book reviews on your blog, that would be cool, too. I would also ask that you post your review within 2-4 weeks of receiving your copy. Yes, I know, I'm very demanding. ;)
Contact me through Goodreads and let me know which format you require and I'll get back to you.
The first few chapters are here on the book's page and over on Amazon. Check them out to see if it's the kind of story you'd be interested in reviewing. My pitch has been "Dragonfriend, a Riordan-style fantasy with a dash of Douglas Adams."
Here's a brief description:
If you think it was all good deeds and fancy ideals back in the days of Camelot, think again. Most people don't know this, but for a time things went seriously bad; Arthur was imprisoned, Merlin had vanished, and a vile demon had taken over the throne.
Young Leonard would have been shocked to learn any of this but right now all that concerned him was where his next meal was coming from. As page to Sir Ronald, a poor but kind knight, events at the castle took a back seat to a rumbling stomach. Oh sure, he held a secret dream that one day Sir Ronald would take a seat at the Round Table, but seriously, that was about as likely as Maid Glennys seeing him as anyone other than the dirty page of a low-ranking nobleman. Not gonna happen.
Everything changes when Leonard meets Mantooth, a seriously depressed dragon who's looking for a knight to end his misery with a swing of a broadsword. Wait a minute. If the dragon will allow Sir Ronald to slay him, his misery would be over, Sir Ronald would surely get a Round Table invite for such a brave deed, and Leonard might even climb a notch or two in the eyes of Glennys! Everybody wins, right?
Wrong. Leonard's plan backfires horribly when, on the day of the battle, Sir Ronald is arrested for "bravery without a license" and he and Mantooth are dragged off to Camelot's dungeons. Now Leonard must do whatever it takes to free his master even if that means doing battle with dangerous monsters, trying to outwit Camelot's dark overlord, or taking a bath!
Thanks!
Roger

I'm looking for reviews of my dark humor/sci-fi book Wastes of Space. It's gritty, adult, and tongue-in-cheek. I'd like reviews on Amazon, Goodreads, Twitter, your blog, basically anywhere. :) If you're interested in a free e-pub or pdf copy please email me at darcy.town@gmail.com. Thanks!
Now here's a little bit about it:
In the early 21st century, the Cold War between the American and Chinese Empires slogs on in a stalemate. There’s a ceasefire in effect, but the peace is artificial—secretly enforced by an alien blockade that surrounds the planet. Earth is caught in a territory struggle between two warring factions: the Empire and the Resistance. Lacking harvestable talents, both groups classify Earthlings as Wasters, but hiding among them is a priceless weapon on the run, a Navigator named Ravil. She possesses the power to move fleets across the galaxy and is determined to join the Resistance.
In the height of monsoon season, Ravil’s dying guardian drags her into a rundown bar in Bangkok, desperate to locate a replacement protector before he dies. What they find, high and showering in a grungy public bathroom, is an American ex-astronaut named Rake. When he spots them, he promptly offers sexual favors in exchange for money. Her guardian is certain Rake’s the one to help Ravil save the Resistance and beat the Empire, Ravil is certain her guardian is senile.

My email to you wasn't able to go through. In any case, I've posted the code and link in my original post above!
Thanks, again!

One thing is, though, my e-reader is currently broken, and I can only get physical copies.
If you would like to have me review, send me an e-mail to gothiclove95@hotmail.com
please make sure you have a unique subject line or else the message will get deleted because of the number of e-mails I get.

I dont mind reading religious books -- just not the normal one. I have nothing against them (Im a Christian) I just prefer fiction books because I like the escape.
Okay, I went to Amazon.com and read the preview, and so far, I see no fault with it. Sure, I couldnt understand some of the words, but thats alright. The best authors are the ones who dont use the same words over and over again. Trust me, it gets annoying.
You do have potential, and you should continue to write. Your idea is unique and apparently very thought out. But you should make a note--- try to refrain from run on sentences.

I would be interested in a print copy of "Dragonfriend: Leonard the Great, Book One"
And yes I can read the book and post reviews at Goodreads, Aamazon both ca and com plus B&N in short order.

I use the Priority Mail Packs from the USPS. You can order padded packs free online from USPS.com and get sticky address labels at your post office. You can tack on delivery confirmation for $0.75 also. It costs about $6.05 (with confirmation you can track) to mail anywhere in the continental US and the book gets to its destination in 2 days.

Morgund MacAedh, a potential rival claimant for the crown, is surrounded by enemies. Morgund must negotiate a deadly gamit of threats. However, some are not so easy to kill. I'd love to provide Kindle review copies of my young adult fantasy novel STRIKE: THE HERO FROM THE SKY in exchange for a review here on Goodreads and Amazon.
Here's the synopsis:
Book One of the STRIKE Trilogy
Tobin Lloyd's life is perfect: he's a senior at Bridgton High, he's one of the funniest kids in school, and his only worry is whether or not his latest prank is going to result in yet another detention.
But when he wakes up in the world of Capricious, a place where superheroes are real and attacks by super-villains are just another hassle of living in the city, all of that changes. Suddenly, Tobin's last year of high school is not going as he expected.
Far from home and pretty sure he's gone insane, Tobin must join a strange group of companions (including a beer-drinking dog and a genius, three-foot-tall robot) as he desperately tries to find a way back to Earth. However, that may be even harder than Tobin knows: a mysterious super-villain named Vincent Harris has big plans for the planet Earth…and Tobin is the only person standing in his way.
A carefree, C-student class clown is the world's last hope? Yikes.
Full of action and humor, STRIKE: THE HERO FROM THE SKY is the perfect novel for anyone who loves a good adventure.
Either message me or comment here if interested! Thanks!
