I've been reading these books for more than half my life and now I have to plan out my last re-read.

@Terpkristin- I will probably only re-read 12 and 13 if I can. Would love to do a whole series re-read some day but with 2 pre-schoolers full load at school and a 40+ hr job it won't be happening anytime soon. One day though. One day.

For selfish reasons, this is why I want them to make a miniseries or something. It'd allow me to go back and get the story again without reading through it.

I think Sanderson brought a lot of life back into the story. Most likely perhaps because he didn't have the world view of Jordan and was less likely to get stuck in some nuance.

I strongly recommend it to anyone re-reading, It does spoil later plots, so its not the best way for a new reader, but otherwise highly recommended.

Also she recently started a similar read of ASOIAF, this one is different as she never read it before(shock!). But her commentary remains exceptional and worth following.

Personally I think Sanderson's has done a fine job finishing the series so I have high hopes he'll do it justice at the end. I did a reread via audiobook before the Sanderson books so I'm not sure if I will do a full reread again. Like Kate feels like a big chunk of my life has been slowly working towards the conclusion of this series. Such a shame Rigney/Jordan isn't around at the end.
