Which Vampire in this series has the best 'Gift'?

that's really the direction I was headed in my thoughts...I might would like the mind reading, but only in aro's form- I wouldn't want to have to hear it all the time...but, I don't know- I could maybe see even that one making you miserable. maybe it would be better to just be able to tell if someone's lying w/o having to learn what they really think about. I might would want to know the future, but she can't turn it off, can she? don't know if I'd like that...I might would like being able to soothe people like jasper can.

No, Alice can't turn off her visions. In BD, she needed a werewolf to give her a break :)
Jasper can't turn it off, either. It'd be nice to be able to do what he can, but it'd be horrible to have to feel everything all the time. Especially other people's pain. Having to deal with our own is bad enough. Multiply it by every single person you meet.... :/

Yeah, but it can be pretty confusing. Besides, half the things she see don't even happen so it would be very confusing to see 5 different versions of something and then not be able to see anything at all when werewolves become involved.

Including the Bree Tanner book? I like Fred's power of repugnance and forgetfulness... I think it would be great for people to be able to forget about you, especially with the case of the Volturi. In the actual series I like Jane's power. Period.

i think that Nessie has the best gift because she has both Edward's and Bella's gift. Bella who is an shield and nobody can get in. But Edwards abilites to read minds is super complex. now Nessie gifts sre unique because she can tell a whole paragraph with just a touch of her finger. Nessie is doing the opposite of what her parents do. So Nessie has the best gift

I wouldn't want Edwards gift. I'm sure it would be cool to know if people were being honest with you. but think about the number of times you've thought something negative a bout a person, even if you never say it out loud. With Edward's gift you'd hear that along with whatever pain and tragedy they were dealing with. No way!

While I like everyone's ability, I have to say that I like Bella's the best. She has the ability to protect people from the danger of other vampires, and their powers. I like that, and it fits her personality. I also kind of like Renesmee's gift, it was cool too.

actaully yeah come to think of it, nessi actually has pretty cool gifts cauz their mixed from edward and bella.
