Disappointed about Eragon and Arya?

THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR !
Gosh person. Don't swear. Not even joking.

I know right?!? I'm a boy but I really would have preferred a more romantic story...Being recently broken up with MY girlfriend made me feel so sympathetic for Eragon because I mea Arya is the love of his life! :( I wish Paolini continues with some other novels that connect and make them be together again :'( Their love needs to get going somewhere not just dissolve because of their respective duties as a rider and queen!

i hope he knows how romance should be finished for not just audience but the future of ERagon within the story!!! :S

another great series has come to an end... ='(

I feel like there was so much going on in the series that having an open, romantic relationship between Eragon and Arya would have been too much. Also, so many books today have a romantic subplot for the main character that always works out perfectly, and that really irritates me. I like that Arya and Eragon's relationship didn't work out, it was something different.

No matter what, he's going to keep it clean. Or else I won't read it.

it's not that but he'd lose half his aoudiance too

but guys remember the dragon knuckle bones that the herbalist cast for him? it said long journey of no return. and Arya couldn't just leave her duties as a dragon rider/queen of elfs, she is the third one, and all. But i spoke to christopher at his book sighning and told him that the ending is horrible, and he said he was thinking about writing a book with all the unfinished stories in it. like Arya and Eragon, and the fact whats so special about the Orchid, and such

omfg thats great~! i don't care about anything except Eragon and Arya being together <3 boohoo:(

omg that's great!! I'm so happy!!!! wait, what Orchid?

I really agree to you. If it is not that I ammistaken, I also think that Arya and Eragon could have lived together. So i think this is forced end to make an sequel or tell us there can be unsettled end in adult's world or to make this a saga.
first At Eragon book in Eragon's dream the atmosphere of the dream is that Eragon and Arya leaving together with others left. second islanzadi's death is sudden and Arya should have gotten training from Eragon as Oromis said in Brisingr.
third is that in chapter Firnen Arya tells that the reason that she became queen is not entirely that she was Rider or princess - she just ambiguously says that their politics is complicated and the reason is not obvious. so it is forced by saying that their politics is complicated so she also doesnt know exactly why she became queen. Are you joking??
fourth Eragon said that it is not fair that Rider to be parted and Arya replied that cause he has royalty to men and dwarves so it is only fair that elves have Rider and dragon but it can be solved by Eragon giving royalty to the elves too. Also she said that power of the elves are waning so she needs to lead them like Nasuada but she can say that she will return to their duties as Rider after that- it is also her duty now and she never abandones duty and it can not be that she rules forever right??-
(p.s) she also said cause Rider's numbers is small so they can't stand alone but it is also their duty( predessors of Riders) to begin their new generation though there will be a few only, right and that is what Eragon does isnt it?? Going alone leaving those whom you know ot protect Eldunaries and so on. Arya becomes queen even though her words contradicts herself?? It is not her style nor Paolini's style. Maybe there should be Oromis to say this or what are Glader or Umaroth doing??why cant I find them talking about Arya and new dragon ?? wasnt that they all hoped for?? A new dragon and Rider ?? And I think if it was I who was before reading Inheritance, it must have seemed absolute that A new Rider follows Eragon (also Murtagh) and old dragons should have had tears about them.
I was too long but I wanna say that Paolini wrote wonderful series excluding the part starting from Garbatorix's death and that part ruined and it's hard for me to read again but I at least be satisfied by conclusion of great series and Eragon and Others will have their own happy life
ps. It seems like to me this resembles the end of the Lord of the rings though CP ' one is not natural end it 's just forced end considering that Lord of the Ring was sad but it was somewhat differnt sadness. this is unclean and Ring was fresh.

i kind of feel like Paolini wanted to get away from the idea of "YA" books and thats why he didn't include anything.
I'm not sure what would have made it better but I was disappointed in the ending. It was just blah to me and nothing exciting nor do i feel satisfied.

waiiiit ... say what? new books??!??
