http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/93...Noticed the author is misspelled (should be Vaillant, with two letter l's) but then realized it was someone who'd wanted to write a review.
For future reference, what it needed was to have the author merged into the correct one, and then to be combined with the correct book. Only then did I delete it. And every step until the deletion can be done by any librarian.
This is a double:http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/10...
(of this: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/10...)
Thanks!
Can a super delete this one: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11... - it's already been combined with the proper edition that has the isbns etc.
And this one please: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/21... it's a placeholder for the 2 volume series. I've combined it with the first volume (the cover of #1 was used to create the placeholder)
... and this one http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/77... is a duplicate of one of the other editions (the most popular one) that has no isbn either. Thanks!
Please delete: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11...It's a placeholder and incorrectly use an ISBN13 of another edition in its ISBN10 box.
The Shade of the MoonCould one of the super librarians delete Susan Beth Pfeffer's "The Shade of the Moon"? She has definitely stated that she sent back the contract to the publisher and will not be writing the book: "My publisher and I have mutually decided not to pursue a fourth moon book. I won't be writing any new versions of The Shade Of The Moon....I could devote the next few months of my life to trying to figure out an approach for a fourth moon book that would please my publisher, but frankly, I avoid being vexed. Therefore yesterday afternoon I dug through my file cabinet, found the unsigned contracts for the fourth moon book, and mailed them back to my agent.... So if you want to know what happens to Miranda and Alex next, you'll have to decide for yourself." (Source: http://susanbethpfeffer.blogspot.com/...)
This one is a placeholder for an entire (15 volume) series: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/77...I've combined it with the first volume (the placeholder was using that cover)
I have a list of 5 volumes of a manga series here: they were added manually a while ago but details (including isbns) were missing. I've had these books "generated" by searching for their isbns and the editions with complete info have been combined with each counterpart. Could you delete these so the reviews are merged into the editions with isbns? Thanks!* http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/10...

This one http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/79... is a placeholder for an upcoming publication - it is already combined with the edition that has the correct isbn.
Here are a few records with only ASINs (that are not ebooks) that need to be deleted - they appear to be used books sold on Amazon. All V.C. Andrews:http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11...

Duplicate - someone tried to put this isbn 13 in the isbn 10 spot:

Here's a very stupid question from a very new librarian - how do you recognise a placeholder? Is it just a listing without an ISBN?
Got 36.Re msg 37: A placeholder is a book that has not yet been released (future publication date) and has been added by a member without an ISBN. Once an ISBN has been assigned to the book, the ratings for the placeholder are merged with the edition with an ISBN.

Check when it was created, too. That helps determine if it was created before the official ISBN, etc. were available.

Someone created an entry for a blog: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13... It doesn't look like an actual publication of blog content, but just an online blog.

This book and it's other addition were supposed to be canned. I am the author and am having trouble. These books shouldn't be available here yet and my other profile still exists! Where do I go to get that rectified as well?
Thanks!

We don't remove books that have been published/released and then go out of print (or which become unavailable).

Why is that?
Why is that?
This is a book cataloging site, if a book has been published and sold people want to shelve the books they have read / bought. Just because a book is no longer available does not mean that copies are not i.e. in charity shops or still on peoples book shelves at home or ereaders if electronic
Got 47.

Exactly. It may be helpful to think of GR as being more like a library than a bookstore. Libraries don't pull out-of-print books of their shelves, and neither do we.
