I got Scarlet by Marissa Meyer (The Lunar Chronicles) and the first 2 books of The Grisha trilogy for Christmas. Woohoo I love breaks because I get to read late into the night without being exhausted at school the next day because I get to- YES Sleep In :)

No it wasn't for school. In year 9 we did The Birds, The Moon is Down and Lord of the Flies at school

It's the second series of Percy Jackson and the Demi-gods.
I'm not sure what it's about yet, because I just started it, but already it's got a lot more mature writing than the Percy Jackson series and better description.

he as a jerk and pretty annoying too but i found towards the second half of emerald green, he got better, so i ended up liking him a bit. i would still perfer raphael over him though :p

okay i think we switched series...i thought we were talking about gideon de villiers from the ruby red series at first? and now its gideon lightwood from the infernal devices series?

haha anyways, the gideon in infernal devices, I LOVE SO MUCH. he is such a gentleman. and yeah, when he started going out with sophie, i was so happy :) when there were times i didnt know if i wanted tessa to be with jem or will, i always went back to gideon and sophie since i KNEW i wanted them to end up together!
