Tom Foolery (tomfoolery) Kidding. I don't really hate it, i just wanted to gloat. Strange thing about it though, is that it's about 40 cents a gallon higher 5 miles down the road...

Reads with Scotch I hate it... you and that stupid place you live in are going to undo all the hard work the rest of the country has done... here comes Mr. Foolery with his stupid town. Way to screw the pooch dude.

message 3: by Tom (new)

Tom Foolery (tomfoolery) Well...it's really only one station under two bucks. The rest are hovering about $2.03. So that's all right then.

Rusty (rustyshackleford) | 2198 comments Tom, please don't take this personally, but I hope you die. You and your cheap, inaccessible-by-me gas.

Reads with Scotch Hell if it drops below $2/gl it would be worth the drive from Alaska to fill up. We are still hovering around 4 here.

message 6: by Tom (new)

Tom Foolery (tomfoolery) I'm in South Carolina. You'd have to have a damn big gas tank to make it worth the trip.

message 7: by Tom (new)

Tom Foolery (tomfoolery) I think i'm gonna go out and just drive around. It won't cost too much, i get almost 20 mpg in my truck, and gas is cheap....

***gloat gloat gloat***

Reads with Scotch I have a buddy with a pull'n'haul tank, it holds about 700/gl. (he lives way way way out in the bush, so he floats down the Yukon with it, unloads it in delta junction, fills it, then tugs it back to his compound. nice guy really, just don't eyeball his guns.) So 700/gl... eh, I still don't think it would be worth it... that's about what 4,700 miles give or take. eh. I'll just send a cruise missile loaded with a hate warhead your way.

The Crimson Fucker (tcf123) | -6 comments why is it that you only used long range attacks on your attack rampages fantasies??? Why cant you be a little bit more like me?? dude have you any idea how satisfying the idea of the whole population of a city being scared to death in their little houses (while shitting their pants and other fear-for-your-life side effects) when they see your heavy cavalry surrounding their city… I know I know… is fun to think of those few seconds when they hear the bomb coming down (when they start screaming their so loud final prayers)… but like all the others high-caliber drugs the effect is just too short… I want them scared for weeks… not seconds =)

message 10: by Tom (new)

Tom Foolery (tomfoolery) Is it cause for concern in Alaska when you call your home a "compound?" 'Cause it is down here...

Reads with Scotch My home isn't a compound but his really IS. Like I said don't look at his guns... it upsets him.

message 12: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) Hmmmm... That really seems out of character if you ask me. From your description, I'd think looking at his guns would give him a woody.

Reads with Scotch he is a bit off the rocker. Just keep him happy and everyone is safe.

message 14: by Tom (new)

Tom Foolery (tomfoolery) Just 'cause i know you all want an update, gas prices are now at $1.86 per gallon. Carry on.

message 15: by Chloe (new)

Chloe (countessofblooms) I may be in the minority, in fact I can pretty much guarantee that I am, but I'm kind of pissed that the price of gas keeps dropping. Nothing spurs change more than assaulting your pocketbook.

message 16: by Tom (new)

Tom Foolery (tomfoolery) Logan, i don't think gas prices are likely to stay low for long. I never expected to see two dollars a gallon again, let alone a buck eighty-three. Gonna gloat enjoy it while i can, tho.

The Crimson Fucker (tcf123) | -6 comments One question… they raised a lot of shit around here and all they said when I asked why (like the cabs or the fruit places) is the gas is high and transportation (the fruit guys) cost almost an eye… now the gas is low but everything still cost the same!! Wtf!!! prices go up but never come down?

Retail and oil aren't exactly related, though oil prices affect everything. The retail world is in bad, bad shape right now. They need you to bleed with each purchase since there are much fewer purchases happening.

message 19: by Tom (new)

Tom Foolery (tomfoolery) $1.39. A BUCK THIRTY-NINE. If it stays like this too long i might have to reconsider getting a gas-sipper.

message 20: by Joe (new)

Joe (joediver50) We had $1.36 last week but it is back up to $1.50 today. It is all a scam.

message 21: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) You saw it here folks for the first time. IT'S ALL A SCAM!!

message 22: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I believe milk prices are kept artificially high by government programs that buy up all of the surplus.

message 23: by Charissa (new)

Charissa (dakinigrl) it's $1.75 a gallon here also. It's insane. A couple of months ago it cost me over $50 to fill my tank... now it's less than $25. The economy is on crack.

message 24: by Rusty (new)

Rusty (rustyshackleford) | 2198 comments Wherever I am, you can find it for $1.59 - or $1.39 if you're willing to do a little driving.

message 25: by Tom (new)

Tom Foolery (tomfoolery) Before you do your driving do a little scouting at Gasbuddy.com

message 26: by Joe (new)

Joe (joediver50) Gas went up another dime today.....$1.59

message 27: by Charissa (new)

Charissa (dakinigrl) maybe we should all fill empty milk jugs with gasoline and store them in our basements for the future.

message 28: by Tom (new)

Tom Foolery (tomfoolery) Next to the breaker box, the furnace, the pile of turpentine soaked rags, and a stack of old newspapers.

message 29: by Charissa (new)

Charissa (dakinigrl) exactly.

message 30: by [deleted user] (new)

Under your bed.

message 31: by Charissa (new)

Charissa (dakinigrl) with a pipe wrench. oh sorry, i thought we were playing Clue.

David For the price, I will give gas this season for a gift. I've decided that gift cards have a special slippery coating and de-magnetizing agent applied to them when sold (to inflate corporate profits), so I have eight three gallon containers that are full to the brim waiting in the garage. These were bought when the price was $1.42; in just two weeks my investment has shot up thirty cents a gallon. Riddle me this Ms. Mustard, who wouldn't like the smell of gasoline under their tree in the study near the candlestick this coming Christmas morn.

Félix (habitseven) In the observatory with a molatov cocktail?

message 35: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) Brilliant, David! That does make a great gift!
