Has anyone noticed that in all Rick Riordan's books the story has never been told from Annabeth's perspective?
what will happen in TMOA (predictions):1. percy tries to console reyna that jason prob hasnt changed much and in tht moment that they are holding hands annabeth sees them (thats just an example but i think they wont kiss and greet each other)
2. percy and jason wont get along. at all.
3. percy and jason fight w there swords and percy wins (sorry percy fan)
4. annabeth and reyna dont like each other because they are leaders w a differnt view to exactly HOW to lead.
5. frank and piper are the ones who constantly hav to try to make peace.
6. piper and hazel dont like each other (due to my #5)
7. percy was warned by hera that he would hav to make sacrifices right? so he'll prob hav to break up w annabeth (know that this is breaking my heart typing it but its something RR would prob do since he is apperantly king of breaking our hearts)
8. im just scared all these things will happen but it will be a good book if that does happen right? thumbs up if you think so
well those are interesting predictions but i think jason and percy will get along but if they do fight percy totoly would win!!
oh sorry for dropping in agian but i hope its annabeths pov that would be cool!!! and i hope she doesnt die!! if annabeth does die im going to flush my book done the tolit or something like that. teehee
do u think RR will make percy die? i mean, there's gotta be some reason he didnt make percy the main character...i hope not:(
well he is one of the main characters, but i think it would be stupid to kill percy, imagine how mad people would be (including me)

ya hera told percy he would have to make a hard desition so who knows what thats going to be, but i dont think any of the seven will die, or maby they will die and be discovered to still be alive latter in the book or something like that.
i think the hard chocie percy is going to have to make is telling annabeth she cant go with him on the journey.

It could just be that he has to let Annabeth go alone on something that is extreemly dagerious and will likely get her killed... "Wisdom's daughter walks alone, the mark of Athena burns through Rome" ... but she of cource survives somehow...? Though now that I think of it it doesen't say that Percy has to make some hard choce that is realated to Annabeth does it? It could just be something more like he has to chose between saving saving the seven or saving the world... but they suvive any way?

OH MY GODS!!! I have been reading TSON EXCRUCIATINGLY SLOWLY so I would only have to wait a couple of months for The Mark of Athena to come out. Unfortunately, I went crazy and finished it today, only to find out that it ended with the BIGGEST CLIFF HANGER OF ALL TIME!!!!! I am literally going to die while waiting for this book to come out!!! Anyways, here are my predictions:1) Jason and Piper. I think that they will progress pretty fast, but ya know how it keeps saying that Jason is too perfect? Well I think that his fatal flaw will be revealed in this book and it will NOT be something good. I mean, c’mon, how can he have NO secrets at all??? YEAH RIGHT!
2) Percy and Annabeth. This is a given. I think that they will have this amazing reunion near the beginning that involves her being mad at him for scaring her half to death but it will be sweet. I also think that Annabeth will kind of go crazy when they get to Rome and there will be some tension between them.
3) Hazel and Frank. I don’t think that Leo will be a part of this but there will be some awkwardness between him and Hazel after she tells him about Sammy. Plus, Hazel & Frank are adorable!!!! ☺
4) Leo and Reyna??? Idk about this, but in TLH they were saying how he only goes for girls way out of league, which sounds like Reyna because she ROCKS!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!
5) I think that Leo and Percy will get really close in this book. Not sure why, but I have this gut feeling that they will be good friends because of the possible Percy/Annabeth tension and Leo might be alone as well, so they will confide in each other.
6) NICO. I <3 YOU. This is not a prediction, it is fact. Pure, unrelenting fact. Don’t judge me, he’s awesome. You know it’s true.
So there ya have it! I will see you all in 5 months when I come out of hibernation to buy this spectacular creation!!! ☺
i agree with number 4, leo probly will like reyna, that would be histerical!!!!!
I just had really weird thought, though I might just have to read SoN again to see if it is valid, What if Leo liked the queen of the amazons (Reyna's sister) That would be very funny... Just an idea...

Okay, so I haven't read through all the comments(sorry), but has anyone mentioned what the mark of Athena is? I don't think it has to do with Annabeth doing something wrong. Daedalus got the mark because of what he did to Athena's nephew(I think it was a nephew or grandson or some kind of relation). I've seen someone suggest that maybe Annabeth gets the blessing of Athena, and when someone tries to kill her they get the mark. Or Daedalus might have marks all over Rome(this would probably be in Greece though) that leads to the doors of death. What's the current theory?
Thats a good idea, like in the Last Olympian when all the statues activate... Maybe that will happen in Rome and all the information to activate something in Rome is on the laptop that Daedalus gave Annabeth. And "the wisdoms daughter walks alone" just means that she is the only one who can activate everything and save everyone... that actually might be it, it does sound like something that RR would to twist the prophecy...

Um, I concure with the WHAT? Do the new books have the first chapter? That would suck and be unfair to the people who bought SoN when it first came out.(people like me)

none of the fanfiction character's even act like the real one, I mean there's this one where Percy's a player and like sleeps with girls evey noight. Now, I'm not saying that Percy isn't hot **gets a dreamy espression while wishing she was Annabeth** but he doesn't have the confidence to talk to girls let alone Annaabeth in the LAST OLYMPIAN!!!!! i'm mean he kind of does, but it's more Annabeth since she kisses HIM!

Some are okay, but I don;t think I've seen one were the characters were right. One, person was some like man slut and he had girls in his room every night and one night Annabeth was drunk and he slept with her. And all I could think was, Percy doesn't have that much confidence and I highly doubt Annabeth would get drunk enough to do that . . .

I remember reading a fanfic for soN and percy dies. At the time I thoughth it was the real book.

I had this really cool theory of Annabeth originally ignoring Percy because she made about him disappearing then she'll it was hera's fault and go of on some rampage until Percy somehow manages to snap her out of it long enough the have a reunion (will a kiss preferably)
And I want Annabeth to be a main character again and the story to be told by Percy and NO one else. Except maybe a Annabeth, I could live with Annabeth telling the story.
