They meet heros reincarnated including Bianca in baby form and Nico gets all pale and faints. Annabeth and Percy get separated, someone (a lot of people) dies. The camps are attacked when they are fighting the giants. I honestly do not have a idea. CURSE YOU RICK RIORDAN!!!!!
I swear Riordan if you kill annabeth and tyson AND reyna i'm not going to read the book. For about a couple of hours. I'll forgive you if the book does't end in a cliffhanger.
I heard there are going to be 5 books in all of the whole series. O.O If you'll excuse me I have a padded cell to visit....
Has anyone ever realised that in the sea of monsters, Blackjack is described as a female pegasus rather than all the others where he is male?
i really hope not, but i have a feeling annabeth might die...i mean, just the way Hera was talking about her in the SoN had me all creeped out:(

I think it will start with Jasons POV either already have been to the camp or sailing away from the camp and it will have Pipers and Leos POV too

Now think for a second on this first part.

That must mean a Daughter of Athena/Minerva. (I'm going to call this mystery daughter DoA -Daughter of Athena- Since we're not sure it IS Annabeth)
As for the walking alone bit?
Maybe DoA has to do something alone. Something that is very important yet she has to it. And no one can help. I Dont know what, but i know the alone bit is vital.

I have a few theory'ses on this.
Now what is the mark of Athena?
Owls
Olive Trees
Snakes
Aegis
Armour
Helmets
Spears
OR
This "Mark" of Athena could mean something like the curse Athena put on Daedalus
OR
This DoA could be given special powers from Athena
Okay as for the Burns through Rome concept.
Maybe a Owl/Olive tree and the above burn in Rome.
Something to do with Franks Curse/ Leo's powers?
OR
Maybe this DoA has a curse like the one in BotL and in Rome is were she is freed from it
OR
Maybe these powers burn Rome? Change it somehow? Say like the special power was...er... a lightning bolt (it wont be): A lightning bolt burns through Rome. Like a Lightning Bolt travels through Rome?"

omg guys! mark of athena release date- October 2nd, it's on amazon!! and then we will get to find out what actually does happen in the MoA! but it's only half the size as the other HoO books...:(

I just realized that RR may have made a mistake in HoO....So we know that the Romans know all about the Great prophecy 2....
doesn't that mean that they'd known about the first great prophecy too?
And if they'd known then didn't they try to find out who the first great prophecy was about?
And since it wasn't Jason who made the choice, didn't they suspect the presence of other demigods?
hmmm...well, their prophecies r on scrolls, so maybe they're just waiting for that demigod to arrive- and Jason is a son of the big 3- but he's only 15, so maybe they thought it would happen next year...but that wouldnt explain them fighting Krios on Mt. Tam would it?...o well, i found lots of typos in the lost hero too..
Oh the possibilities. If you haven't noticed I'm a very impatient person, so how in Hades do you expect me to wait SEVEN EFFIN MONTHS!!!! :( my life is sucking now.

maybe we'll get a surprise...ya knowLeo Valdez is Sammy Valez's long lost younger brother who somehow managed to get into Neverland (Lotus Casino?) and managed to stay the same for decades.....
Leo is definitely NOT Sammy coz Hera (at least I think it was her...I don't remember it's been months since I read SoN)told Hazel that Sammy lived his entire life even after Hazel's death and later died himself.
BTW who do you guys think will end up together in the end????

Not necessarily, the Romans only have the syllibine books which predict the future of new ROME, the first great prophecy only affected the Greeks but would eventually effect the romans.
Leo is probably Sammy's grandson or great grandson, frank will end up either dying or getting with Hazel, and I'm hoping for a piper death because she sucks! Percy together with Annabeth and the two camps will come together as one and no longer be separate by the end of the series.

I want Frank to die...I don't particularly detest him or anything of that sort.....
I'm just pretty insecure when it comes to Percy.And Frank being all "Bam! I'm so powerful.I can turn into any creature I want." doesn't really help.

i agree that frank may be a little over powered, i also wish that rick riordan would just put everyone with good taste in books out of their misery and tell us what happens!!!

Just thought I'd add a factor to the speculation of Luke's return: He did tell Annabeth just before he died that he would try for rebirth, and unless that's not happened then he, like Bianca, isn't able to return to life. Also, I think Annabeth is over him anyway, she said so herself in The Last Olympian. :) P.s. I like Percy best, he's funnier and seems more friendly than Jason.
I seriously don't know what's gonna happen but I know that I HATE THAT CLIFFHANGER!! Gah why is it coming out in October?? Why??

This is what I think is PROBABLY(Which means it might....OR MIGHT NOT) happen. When Percy and Jason meet, it's probably not going to be like "Oh hey how it's going." that would just be anti-climatic. Not really sure what happens between them, but they WILL meet.The Leo thing. Probably his brother or something like that, who fell asleep and never aged(THINK SLEEPING BEAUTY), and came back as a baby because Hephaestus had been looking for him.
The Annabeth/MoA burns through Rome....thing.I think the whole book is going to be from Annabet's PoV, but somehow, she ended up in Rome(Probably not New Rome.)and is doing.........stuff. Like a secret quest that only she can do.....like a spy.Boss.
