Annabeth won't die. I'm sure of that. She's one of the seven and I think they'll all make it to the last book. In The Son of Neptune and The Lost Hero I think Rick's trying to say that someone's going to die and wants us to guess who it is because he said that 1.) Hazel's already dead and shouldn't have been brought back, 2.) Frank's got a stick that will one day burn and he will die and 3.) Percy shouldn't trust Annabeth and that something bad will happen to her. He hasn't gave any hints to any of the other 4 dying but I'm sure he will soon...Don't you think Leo and Frank are connected in a lot of ways? They both fell for Hazel, Leo's got fire powers and Frank may die by fire, and they're both the "3rd" characters (Percy - Hazel - Frank, and Jason - Piper - Leo).
Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to read through the "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" books and the "Heroes of Olympus" books again :)
Ooooooooooooo Microbat has an EXCELENT point about Frank and Leo. Do you think that Leo could be the cause of Franks death? I mean Leo could very much set Franks life into flames. And why do you think Leo cant remember Hazel, if he is supposedly Sammy. GAWD! What is with Riordan! Its like he enjoys my pain. So now, just to put it out I am worried about the following1) Anabeth dying
2)A love triangle between Jason Piper and Reynaa
3) A love triangle between Hazel Frank and Leo
4)Leo killing Frank by accident and/or purposely
5) Why cant Leo remember Hazel, and what's the deal with that?!?!?!?
6) How the outcome of the Battle in Greece is going to turn out. And how will the Romans fight for Rome if they are in Greece and vice versa
7) How is Anabeth going to play a part in this whole thing
8) If Luke is going to come back......oh gosh cant even think about that without going in to hysterics
9) Whether Zeus is going to come to his senses and STOP BEING SO FREAKING STUBBORN!!!!!!!(no offense, I love Zeus just as much as I love any other God)
I'm pretty sure there is more to ky rant, but I fear that I'm borring you guys -sigh- oh well. I think I'm gonna go cry in a corner now. -mutters to myself- I really am crazy aren't I
I don't think Leo's forgot Hazel, I think he just wants to forget about it like everything else in his life. He been kicked out of a lot of places and lost lots of friends. And how can you say he's not FROM the past? There were workshops and zoos in the past, so maybe he just moved to the furture somehow. Hazel, Nico and Bianca managed it...
Well, if someone has to die.. I hoped its Frank. I think his character is not as interesting as the others and his powers and bloodline is a little too much don't u think? I always wonder, since he's connected to Poseidon, will he have any water powers?
Well the only reason Nicol and Bianca managed is because they were in the Lotus hotel. And I think Hazel came back because the doors of death were opened. So unless Hephaestus preserved Leo than how did he come to the future than? And wouldn't his name still be Sammy if he did remember Hazel, his name is Leo now so wouldn't that give some kind of hint that he doesn't remember?????
Like I said, he's moved on a few times so he may have changed his name in a couple of places, and there's got to be other ways to skip time. Anything could have happened, but I just believe that's the case...
I don't know... it doesn't seem like that would really fit...
Maybe Hazel and Frank die together.
That would be a really bad ending though...... it just doesnt seem like Riordans style to create that.

I find it a little wierd that Hazel's the only 13 year old in the seven heroes. AND that Leo and Frank are both 3 years older than her...
AHHHHH! how did i find this place????? okay well this is crazy. Hazel is only 13 and everytime I read that I was like, "But she acts so mature." Humph. I don't know about Leo. Maybe he did skip time- but I doubt it. In the other discussions, Isabelle thought maybe Leo was Sammy come back to life...?

I just realised that there is a high chance Annabeth will die! Percy is going to feel pain and misery beyond relief, Hera said he shouldn't trust Annabeth, and Nothing's indicated that Annabeth is one of the 7! She hasn't had a POV and no one's told her she's one of the 7. She just said she wanted to go with them. Knowing me I'm probably wrong, but it does sound logical.
Microbat!!!!!!! Annabeth can't die!!!!!!! True, she might not be on of the 7, and I know Hera might not trust her; but she is still good. This goes back to one of my earlier comments but I think that she just has to make a big decision about the battle. It will REALLY big though. and to Savannah it feel to me that she is 16 too, it's cause she came from time so she kind of aged a lil in ya know hell. HAHAHA! So anyways, I think from reading Riordans books and knowing how upset his fans would be, I think Annabeth will most likely not die.....and if she did well.....I have a pitchfork and a shotgun waitin :)
sorry to drop in, but i think that leo didnt come back just that he is a grandson to sammy, like hazel said "he looks LIKE sammy" that dosent mean he is. like i said he might be a desendent of sammy. that is just my guess.
I dont even know, im just guessing...but if he did come back from the past how did he do it, or did he go through the doors of death
Sorry for coming in.. but I like to read speculation and the possibilities are blowing my mindAnyways, Didn't Daedalus have some sort of Mark of Anthea for murder or whatever? I think they are going to Rome in the upcoming book as well. That is all I can think of for now...
hmph.....stupid book needs to come out faster. And so help me Riordan, if Mark of Athena ends in another cliff I'm going to court for pre-meditated murder(well I heard the charges are more if its pre-meditated so maybe I'll just do it, ya know heat of the moment xD)!!!!!!!!!!!
You know what I just realized?! In SoN the last line is "Let me introduce you to my other family."That means not only Annabeth, Piper, Leo, and Jason are on the ship! Cuz Percy doesn't know J, L, And P. He only knows Annabeth, So that means others are on the ship!! I bet it's people like Grover.. idk who else! But it can't be Thalia. CUz im almost 100% percent sure she was kidnapped like Nico. but OMG. GAHH I NEED TO KNOW.
About Sammy being Leo. I think that Sammy is Leo's grandfather... It knida fits because in Alaska when Hazel went down in the mud to get Percy, Gaia told Hazel that Sammy had married and every thing so it would only make sense that Leo is his grand son... Also has any one thought about the possibility of Reyna and Leo hooking up? Because Leo always likes girls that are way out of his league and he has moved crushes like with the snow goddess to Thalia.

Interesting theory. I was kinda thinking that Sammy decided to be reborn into another life, kinda like Bianca (Nico's sis) and it's Leo. :D

I'm going to kill someone. Legit, someone is going to die soon. I just heard that Riordan is going to make a fourth book in 2013.......I don't know maybe you guys heard that but I DIDN'T!!!!! And watch it end in a cliff hanger! Gosh why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate this, really I do. Riordan I'm coming for you! D;
How many books are there going to be in the Heros of Olympus series???... just wondering because then it'll be like 2015 before the end of the series...?

My point exactly....erg. What I don't understand is why he chose to write 2 series at the same time, I mean I'm pretty sure he knows how deranged his fans are (Cough* Me Cough*). And the Kane Chronicles weren't even good, my note to Riordan would be stick to the Greek stuff homie!

I liked the Kane Chronicles well enough but I think his greek books are better. I think that it is because that greek mythology is so popular and more well known than the egyptian... What I'm mean is that if we knew more about the egyptian gods then we might like the books more. I hope when he does the Norse myths that it will make more sense than the Kane Chronicles did.

I still think he should just stick to Greek. The Kane Chronicles didn't get him anywhere. If it weren't for Heroes of Olympus, I think Riordon would be in a jam. Also, since he did so well with the Percy Jackson Series people expect a lot of him through the Greek stuff. Its better to stick with whet your good at.
i think he is good at all mythology. personally, the kane chronicles go into wayyy more details than his greek books

Ikr!!!!! He doesn't have as many fans for Kane as he does for Heroes of Olympus. Cant he just...idk quit the Kane chronicles till he is done with HO
