Oh goodness gracious!!! *hyperventilates* WHY RICK?!! WHYY?!?!?!?? I swear, if I read Mark of Athena and it;
1) Is not about Annabeth.
2) Percy doesn't go on a quest with Annabeth and the other 5.
and
3)IT ENDS IN ANOTHER FREAKING CLIFFHANGER..
I swear to the gods that I will throw the book against the wall and start bawling my eyes out.

I can't wait for another year too! I hope he writes faster and publish The Mark of Athena before the third Kane Chronicles book..

I was re-reading the book the other day and I just realized there are TWO love triangle :O One between Jason Piper and Reyna and another between Frank Hazel and Leo (cause ya know he is Sammy and stuff) oh em gee!!!!

Percy has to make some sort of choice that he's been told he won't have the courage to make... I was thinking maybe Gaea will be on the verge of winning. Since Bessie the sea cow has the power to either save or destroy the gods, I think Percy will be forced to choose between killing Bessie and saving the world or letting Bessie live while the world ends. Because Percy's supposed to lack the courage to do this, I think Annabeth will step up and make the choice... or...on a completely different note...Annabeth is going to face the most dangerous adventure of her life, Luke will find his way back to life, and there's going to be alot of awkward moments between Percy and Annabeth, Jason and Reyna, Jason and Piper, Hazel and Leo, and Hazel and Frank. But guessing is nothing compared to the real thing. I can't wait for this book!!!
Wow..you put a lot of thought in to this. So you think Luke will find his way back to life through the doors of death or what? the doors of death aren't closed yet, it's just that thanatos can try along w/ the help of PJ and his friends and nico to close it. they still have to do battle in Greece remember. Uprooting the place where the gods started out from is supposed to be a very significant, and not only figurative, but literal way of killing the gods by their 'root'. what do you guys think about Alyonceus and the other giants like umm Polybotes(?) trying to uproot Greece? Are they going to wreak havoc and terror to the little cities there?
...I'm so confused right now. Yumn and Hope, you guys have just put a bunch of new ideas into my head. WHY! Now I'm very 'what if' about Bessie, The Doors of Death, and now LUKE! Oh my gosh, what if Luke does come back. I wouldn't know whether to hate him or love him. O.O Gosh. And about Bessie, oh crap, my head is going to fly away. And Anabeth, I have a lot of ideas for her now. Hera(Juno) said that she was going to be like Percy's enemy..or what. So she clearly plays a big role and she might make a bad decision. OH GREAT NOW I'M OBSESSING AGAIN. T.T just awsome, well I'm going to re-read The Olympian series now. CAUSE NOW, thanks to some certain people, I must quench my obsession...again.

Sorry Ellie. :) I had an idea and once I started typing I couldn't stop... Anyway, I hope all the questions Riordan threw at us will be answered in this book. These cliff hangers are crazy!! I think Luke is either gone for good or he will make some sort of comeback. If he does, it's probably not gonna be easy for Annabeth. Maybe Annabeth won't want to close the Doors of Death because Luke and so many others can come back? She could be the one who has to close them, but she won't be able to? Polybotes and Alcyoneus... I think they'll cause massive destruction. And maybe that's the point. They'll take so many innocent lives that Annabeth/Percy/Whoever won't have the courage to close the doors. They'll want to give those souls a chance to come back.
Luke coming back to life? Annabeth torn between Percy/Luke (again)? wicked! I mean.. its not that I liked love triangles but.. I just really missed Luke.. even though he's a baddie and tried to kill Percy most of the time but he died a noble death in the end so.. It'll interesting to see Luke again. But I doubt it? I dunno.. I mean will Rick make Luke good or bad?

I think when everyone meets then their going to have a giant gladiator match for anyone who wants to be apart of the 7 that go to rome and greece. The ones that win are definetely going to be percy jason annabeth piper leo frank and hazel.

nah, it's just that..well, it's been awhile since I went on goodreads, and then i saw your notifications and i was like (GASP) *spilling orange juice all over dining table* "Is that Ellie?"I didn't realize you changed your picture until now (I think i havent been on Goodreads for, maybe...7 days?), so it came as a surprise to me.
