Breaking Dawn

i hate reneseme !

Second, she had to exist so there could be a plot on fourth book. But I didn't like it also, cause it just made the ending (who everybody already knew it was going to be cliché) into a MAJOR cliché - "and then, she got married, had a kid, and their family lived happily ever after with eternal beauty, youth and rainbows..." bah! I wish someone would have died (I know is morbid) - some major character, so we could have a twist in the story and some unhappiness (until we can achieve the happily ever ending)- if the battle in the movie was real I was going to be soooo happy.
third, the author had to do something with Jacob (and I've gotta admit that the imprinting thing didn't bugger me at all).

Of course I love her! You only dislike her because your team Jacob? If you are team Jacob, wouldn't you want him to be happy? He is happy!

Yeah, in the movie, you can see the CGI but i looked passed it cuz i loved the movie, but i love the jacob/renesmee thing! i think it finally makes sense!

you must not read any stories about hollywood celebrities...

Second, she had..."
Michael Jackson named his son Blanket.

Me too. I think it's very creative and cute!

idk they like her because... she's adorable and um, their daughter? who DOESN'T like their own kid?

Yeah ... it is sligtly disapointing that everythig ends so well and not only in this book in all of them, dont get me wrong I like happy endings, but they have to be tempered with something negative or it is not realistick.
And I wrealy wanted them to fight with volturi. They would have totaly won.

Precisely.
Why I dislike Renesmee:
1. The name.
2. Yes, I KNOW she is just a little kid but that doesn't change the fact that she's a Mary Sue.
3. I want Jeah. I REALLY want Jeah!

btw, to be honest, what do people have against Mary Sues? are they like, jealous or something? lol

Your not thinking out side of the box. Right now all Jacob want to do is protect her like a big brother would. Think out side the box.

It is very convenient though how the feelings of the imprinter will match what is appropriate. It is also very convenient that Renesmee will stop aging at age 18 and not earlier.
I have a general question on imprinting, and that is, if the person a werewolf imprints on is bound to return those feelings (whatever they may be)? Or could they also hate them or be oblivious to their existence? And when Jacob's dead, will Renesmee pine for him for the rest of her eternal life?

yeah their story could open up a whole new saga with that other half vamp guy playing the third side of their love tri angle....by the way again what is that guys name?

I dont like the actress that plays her because i think that they look completely different, however she is kind of cute. It is still quite weird though
Jacob:Bella, I love you!
Bella:Well I don't love you. Sorry
Jacob:Fine then. If I can't have you I'm going to imprint on your daughter

LOL....

Yeah. It did look a bit wonkey :D
Yeah. It must have been difficult

I thought Renessmee was a perfect component for the story, but I guess everyone has their own thoughts and beliefs.

I really didn't care for it either! I liked the series up to that point and then I'm just like huh?
I get it that Meyer wanted everyone to be happy in the end but she could of done it in so many different ways! To me I think the series could of ended just fine after book 3

I get that Meyer wanted Edward and Bella to be happy and I get that Meyer wanted Jacob to be happy however in my opinion the series could of ended on a good note after book 3. I think that she could of easily had the final battle and then a final chapter or Epilogue that talked about Edward and Bella getting married, her changing and them being happy
Jacob could of had his happiness too
I know some people will disagree with me and that's fine but I think that Breaking Dawn was pushing it

I agree even though I understand it gave me the creeps

What makes her even worse to me is that you can tell by the way she is written that her only purpose is as a plot device to placate Jacob and his fans and it failed miserably. She makes no sense biologically, she should be colder than your average human and grow at a slower rate due to her half vampire physiology, but she grows too fast and is about the same temperature as Jacob and 24 chromosomes just like Jacob—unless there's something Bella's not telling us, Renesemee makes no sense genetically. Plus imprinting is about breeding and with the logic used for her chromosomes she should be just like a mule—sterile/barren meaning their imprint is actually pointless.
Renesemee is a plot hole of a character who serves no purpose in the series except for wish fulfillment and that's why I hate her.

You see I hated her for the reason you loved her, she didn't really add anything to Bella and Edward's relationship because they were only parents to her when it was convenient. Their kid was basically pawned off on everyone else so their relationship stayed exactly the same—obsessive and boring.
Although I know what you mean about Jacob, but I actually liked him which is why I hate that he's stuck in their lives forever. He never gets to move on and actually be happy. He's stuck fawning over the spawn of a girl he used to love in basically a magic filled haze that took his choices away once again. And if Renesemee chooses not be with him he'd be stuck devoted to a girl that doesn't want him stuck in a loop of disappointment for all eternity except this time he has absolutely no say in it. I think SM was like you in not liking Jacob or else she wouldn't have done that to his character.
