i hate reneseme !
Even though I am not on Team Edward, I do think Renesme is pretty awesome. Yeah, she has her Vampire instincts but she has a father who can help her control it and a mother who won't let that happen. She helps Jacob out...if she didn't do that, he might have been depressed. But that is just my opinion. I think she fits into the story, quite well.

I thought Twilight was for teens but I must say I enjoyed the shows looking forward to the what 17th i it.

I don't mind Nessie! It's Jacob I don't like I didn't mind any of the roles that other characters played! But I couldn't handle him and after the movie came out I really began o hate him

I just think the name could have been different. Out of all the names in the world she came up with Nessie, really, c'mon! It's not the character for me, its the name.
Her name is just a combination of Esme and Renée, and her middle name is Carlisle and Charlie combined together. Which gives youthe name Rensemee Carlie Cullen.
I like Nessie a lot (and I am one of the few people who actually like her name), but at first, I'll admit she was a little creepy. The whole "let-me-touch-your-face" thing was a little weird, but what really got me was the "everyone-who-looks-at-her-instantly-loves-her-and-adores-her" factor. I was like, "Okaaay... this girl is going to take over the world. With aliens by her side." SERIOUSLY, you can totally see that happening! (Well, maybe not the aliens part, but hey, it's a paranormal book.)

Would Resenesmee me 1/2 vampire and 1/2 human, so if she had a kid with Jacob wouldn't the kid be 1/3 vampire 1/3 werewolf and 1/3 human because Jacob is not human he's a werewolf? I'm a little lost so correct me if I'm wrong!?!

Omg just sore the breaking dawn part 2 movie truly living it!! That bloody twist though, omg but it's ok the movie is very similar to the book!

Also, it's not sick because Jacob isn't in love with Ness. Really, he's not. They said that someone who imprints on a girl could be like a brother, protector, friend, or lover. Jacob is Renesmee's protector, not lover.

I was also a little miffed by your comment because MY name, Breene, has been called "stupid, hard-to-say, made up, and annoying". Most people give me crap because they say I don't have a 'real' name. Who cares? Not liking someone's name is NOT a good reason to hate a character. Oops, I think I overreacted a little.

I just don't know, the whole imprinting thing is explained clearly on the book but I still find it weird.
It's funny why people hate her so much.... The "imprinting process" is not hard... as they evolve and mature they are free to choose...love...live...life... joy...The "imprint" is kept in perspective... once they mature they are free to choose..and yes... they fall in love...two mature people...

i don't think she's a mary-sue. i think that when bella describes her, she's biased, so she makes her sound perfect
I love the whole idea of Reesmee, becaus it is a symbol of Bella going from any other "normal" teenage-girl to being a responsible grown-up.
Besides, I just love the fact that the Cullens family is growing. Besides Rosalie always wanted a kid.

I do like Nessie because it made Rosalie and everyone happy! But the imprint was a but much I still think if a older guy going for a baby is too weird, maybe Jacob shouldn't have seen Nessie until she was a but older, than an imprint would be better and more understandable! I also didn't like the fact that Jacob was all over Bella two minutes ago the. He was all over her baby!
I think Renesme's character too perfect as a child. And somehow, I think she's creepy :(
well she wouldn't act normal...she's part human and part vampire...yea she's creepy.... even Nahuel is a bit creepy in a less threatening way but he has his indigeous roots to keep him disciplined...

Well at 16...Jacob is pretty well put together...he knew what would happen to Bella if she became pregnant.. so he's aware... werewolves have some pretty amazing gifts of their own...
but ness will still still mentally mature. and so will jake. just cuz they dont physically age doesn't mean they dont mentally.
y'know what i just realized that's kinda annoying? whoever made this thread apparently hates nessie SO much that he/she doesn't even spell her name right. :P
