i hate reneseme !
I really dislike Renesmee. The name itself first of all sounds ridiculous. And she makes everything awkward. How do you explain to your girlfriend you used to have the hots for her mom and even kissed her once? Ick. It's strange that Renesmee doesn't mind having her mom's sloppy seconds.
Jacob and Renesmee are NOT romantically inclined. Imprinting is more about protection. It just means that Jacob will act as a friend or a brother to Renesmee. I'm Team Jella all the way.

well, twilight fans tend to be a little delusional (no offense). and some of them actually believe that one day they will ride off into the sunset with either jacob or edward. trust me, i have met countless crazed fans. but i am not one of them.
Its a happily ever after, Bella doesn't have to wonder what if or cry over the fact that she was never able to bear a child. Maybe its all a little crazy but I think in a way everyone does get a happily ever after even Jacob, even though its seems so gross that he inprinted on such a small child (but its innocent and he doesn't do anything that he shouldn't do to a child but care and love Renesme) and who will eventually grow and have her own decision, and that would make for a great book. You guys are all scandalous hating a happily ever after with a child, a baby; which brings so much joy in the Cullen's family as well as trouble, but it does make for the happily ever after and an end.....crazies ..its just a book, a story, you can make up an end of your own if you wished to be so....

The Renesmee/Jacob thing creeps me out...Why couldn't Jacob fall in love with someone who isn't related to Bella?

I love her! She's so adorable and funny! I don't like Jacob iprinting on her, though. I thought the book could have gone without that. :P

Meyer made it more acceptable for teen pregnancy to occur. Ha yeah guys, don't worry, it'll be perfectly okay. You can be with your boyfriend who adores you and have the child of your dreams. Yay! Anyway, I don't like Renesme.
She's a pointless character I dont hate/like her, just annoyed with her >:O

I feel that Renesme clears up a bunch of issues in the story in a happy fairy tale sorta way, and makes the ending more interesting.
I've always felt like Renesmee was only added to the book to make everyone happy, the characters and the fans. Sort of a compromise. in the end she was the perfect solution to all the problems. the love triangle was dissolved, rosalie stopped hating bella, bella didn't have to sacrfice motherhood in order to be with edward...all in all breaking dawn was for me more like fan fiction and I was pretty disappointed, particularly due to Renesmee's character. Though I don't hate her, I think the story would have benefitted from her absence.

woah you guys get very touchy about a book. I like Renesmee and I think the name is unique and pretty!
Guy's you shouldn't say 'i hate Renesmee' you should say way the kid thing i know Renesmee strange but i think that Stephenie know what means to have children it's wonderful at least what Mum say you know to have your kid in your hands ,listen at his first word , his first laugh and to see his first walk . About Jacob and Renesmee she wants to have plainness so she make him fell in love with Renesmee that's all and to make everybody happy :)
how the hell can you not love renesme!?!?!?!? shes the best! she made lives better the minute she was born! she help jake with his imprinting thing, and bella and edward get to have an amazing, beautiful child, and the cullens have a real family member they cant take care of now, and rosalie and i bet when she grows up shell b the most amazing person ever!!!!!! if you dont like reseme (one of the only good things in the books) you are mental...
She was a deus ex machina just like most of the things in this novel. Something that goes against the canon and is dropped into the story just so that the characters can have their happy ending.Bad story telling at its worst.
Renesmee is ridiculous. But it makes for an original story, I'll give it that.
I like her.. I like that Jacob FINALLY imprinted on someone and I like that he is not STILL being stung along by Bella. I don't think it's "Sick" that he loves her because that's just how imprinting is. It's not like they are dating when shes a little kid. She is super cute and I'm happy that her and Edward got the chance to have a child, because almost every vampire ever does not get a biological immortal child.
Im just kinda freaked out that Jacob imprinted on her....like can you imagine Bella telling Nessie that Jacob used to like her....idk its kinda weird...maybe its just me
I hated how bella said she would let herself be killed if Edward was killed in the fight, despite having a daughter, she still die and leave her alone. Fair enough if she was suicidal if it was just her, but with a daughter and she's still has that mentality makes her lose any redeeming quality she has. And to a comment made earlier, yes you can hate imaginary characters, some writers purposely make certain characters hateable on purpose, unfortunately some characters are hate able even if that was not the original intention.

I don't mind Renesmee too much. My biggest problem was the change in the relationship between Edward and Jacob. At the end Edward called Jacob his son just because Jacob imprinted on his daughter. That rubbed me the way wrong way. "Hey remember when you were my enemy and made out with my wife? Well now that you will eventually make out with my daughter I guess you can be my son." It just didn't work for me.
Renessme was just so random! The entire book was random!

why would you hate her? I feel sad about that. Renesme makes everything normal in their lives. Imagining Edward and bella parenting her is so cute and lovely :) I can imagine the cullens so excited about her and she makes everything perfect in Bella and Edwards lives :)

I agree with you. I like the idea of Renesme fiting in the lives of the other characters. I just don't like the idea of Jacob imprinting her. I feel like puking when i read that part. It is so wrong, I would want Renesme to be imprinted to someone else. I can remember Bella's reaction when she knew about it and I wish Kirsten can make a very good acting about that :)
I didn't hate renesmee. I am a mom so I get the bond the book is talking about. The love Bella feels for the baby and Edward are two totally different things. They are two pieces of her that she can't live without. Don't remember who said something about hating a books character but Stephen King wrote Under the Dome and I hated one of the characters in the story and hoped he would die all the way through. The same with the teacher/headmistress from the fifth book of Harry Potter. I hated her and wanted to poke her eyes out with a pencil through the whole thing. :) I know there are a lot more that I would mention if I had the time to sit and write them all out. But what is a good book without a villain that you just can't stand which makes you feel strongly about them?
I love Nessie and I love the whole story. It was different to anything else that had happened in the other books. Her and Jacob was a bit strange at first because when you think about it he loves the mother then all of a sudden he loves the daughter but it actually worked out the best way possible because him and Bella didn't like eachother anymore and he can protect Renesme as well.

Who in the world would want a kid that young? I mean they just got married! I know it was an accident but why did they bring a kid into it? And yea I only liked renessme when she was killing Bella(THAT WAS EPIC)..then she was born:(
