Totally agree with you on Kristen; SM actually wanted Emily Browning to play Bella, but Browning said no because she didn't know what it was (bet she feels stupid now!). Can you imagine how much better it would've been?! And with Gaspard Ulliel, the original Edward, who had already played a serial killer... talk about a perfect cast...

I don't really get why any of you don't like her. I think she is amazing, and her and Jacob are so cute together. I mean, I dont like the fact that see doesn't talk that much, but when she say "Mommy, I love you" to Bella my heart broke because when your children tells you they love you for the first time that's huge. Overall Renesmee is an azaming character, and I love her.

I like Renesmee, I don't think us readers know enough about her as a person to truly hate her. Renesmee is only a baby even though she may not look like one.

Do you think that the reason Jacob was so "in love" with Bella was because she was going to be the mother of his mate? Like he had to protect her and keep her safe so she could bring Nessie into this world?

On a lighter note, all I could think when I read BD was that I was glad Bella's & Edward's moms' names weren't something like Vanessa and Regina or the kid would've been named Vagina... just sayin' ;)

I hate her name, what is it with parents naming their kids something that will get them beat up in school. The character isn't that bad, she's better than Bella. But the whole imprinting thing is weird, and so is the half vamp/human kid. It's a cop out. Instead of, actually having Jacob get over his Bella issues like most boys with their first loves, she has him imprint and makes the reason he had Bella issues in the first place was the fact that she was supposed to be his mother-in-law. And, I have never understood why half vamp kids are okay, if vamps are undead they can't reproduce and the same if they are a different species. If they are a genetic mutation then I would assume it would be even more of a miracle if the human conceaved and carried to term. Meyer's vamps are magically frozen humans, so I can kinda understand but why didn't anyone think of the possiblity before the wedding. And why didn't Carmine stumble upon case studies in medical research.

I liked Renesme. she was really good to put in the book they way she did, it also made it possible for their family to be bigger and Rosalie to accept Bella in the book, what i didn't like was Jacob and Renesme, it was a bit sick to make them fall in love when she was so young. And i know it prevented him from killing her but still, if you think in really life you'd feel uneasy. he shouldn't have imprinted on her. Plus i feel sorry for her because what the hell is anyone going to say when she asks how they all key? "Oh well i feel in love with your Daddy but than Jacob threatened to kill himself so i made out with him and realised i loved him more than a friend!" No ok. Just No. Imagine if you found out your mum and your boyfriend had a thing before you were born??? i think it would have been smarter to just make them friends than that could grow into romance, maybe, but the Jacob seeing a newborn baby and falling in love is way to weird. either way i still loved the books, all of them, and Loved most characters.
I think renessme is a horrible way to tie up the story. I kinda wanted Jake to fall in love/imprint with Leah. I don't hate the baby I just hate the way they made her the solution to the problem. And her name is really ugly.
Leah and Jacob would have been a great idea she should have left resessme alone to fall for someone else when she was older! Ohh like one if the volturi that way they wouldn't hurt the family or someone else! She could have created with another series for resessme and someone a forbidden romance! I would have loved to hear more about Edward and the Cullen's!
I personally love Renesmee and she's just a kind who's super smart and has an awesome power!I loved how Jacob became her protector. I thought it was cute! I honestly used to be team Edward, but now I like Jacob better, because I realized that he's a much better developed character because he has flaws and stuff. i still like Edward, I just really like Jacob as a character better (This is coming from writers POV).. but Jacob was soooo much more developed and he had his issues. But Renesmee, I think, is sooo cute and adorable! I loved her. It annoyed me at first, but as the book progressed I actually liked it. and grew to like her a lot :)

Yeah I think it would be cool to see Rensemee's reaction when she finds out the story behind Jacob, Bella, and Edward.

Ok I'm happy Bella has a daughter (yay for her), but the whole imprinting thing is just... unsettling. But then I seriously hate Jacob in the books. He annoyed the crap out of me (so did basically everyone in the wolf pack) and I seriously wished that he ran away or freakin died. I know cruel but I seriously had a strong hatred for book Jacob. Movie Jacob (along with movie Bella) is a WHOLE different story. Oh and I totally agree, Renesme was the stupidest name I ever heard. If SM wanted a fictional name for her book pick something that's a TAD realistic.

I dont hate Resenesmee but i think it was a little stupid to just come up with omg shes pregnant, jacobs in love with the baby bla bla bla big fight, whats the point? i mean jacob had his heart broken by bella, and in the book she tries to explain it as the reason jacob was so in love with bella was because one day she was gunna have a baby that jacob would imprint on, it just didnt sit right, theres no happy ending there, i mean the baby causes alot of issues, plus its kinda immpossible to get preggers by a vampy love the books love the story line hate the pregnancy its just to far fetched to be included in the series!
All vampires are different books or stories! Like Dracula could turn into mist an there are different species of vampires and they could have babies. So depending on the vampire they can and can't do certain things! And Jacob or any adult with a baby is not good and makes me uneasy! If it were real, you would have a world wide report and probably sent to jail! I mean look at woody Alan! He married his step daughter but at least she was if age!

i no like all vampires have different powers and stuff but at the end of a day a vampire is dead, they dont bleed their hearts dont beat, so how in heavens name can Edward get a god damn boner let alone shoot his load if hes in fact a walking corpse?

I understand what you're saying, but in the second half of Breaking Dawn Edward does come to understand just how important Jacob is in Bella's live. And with the whole imprint thing, Edward just needs o realize that he can never get rid of Jacob.

I like Renesmee. And I don't get why people view Jacob as a fucking pedophile. Hello people! In the book, it is actually explained that he doesn't think that way! He just wants to be in her life and make her happy! Once she gets to his age, that is when his feelings turns into something sexual! Gosh, people read the book carefully before making stupid comments. And she is sooo cute! I am so glad that Bella gets to have the eternal life being a mother. And the concept of half-human and half-vampire sounds very cool. :)
I think Reneseme did not ruin the story in the Twilight Saga. I am not an Edward fan nor a Jacob fan, but if I have to choose Jacob then I would be upset that he gets no happily ever after that Bella would never be his but still there for her when she needs it. In fact I would hate Jacob for that because he is just torturing himself. If I choose being an Edward fan then I would be really irritated that Bella ha feelings for Jacob, who wouldn't? (for Edward fans). I think Stephanie Meyer created Reneseme for a reason and that is to even the odds. The name Reneseme is a weird but unique name. It's creative in other words. Parents want their child to be unique in anyways possible and I think that's the point of Stephanie Meyer when she was thinking of the child's name. And who wouldn't agree that parents create weird but unique names for their kids? If we talk about Edward and Bella's love story with the coming of Reneseme, yeah it somehow ruined the love story of Edward and Bella because their love is focused on Reneseme and with the feud with the Volturi, it really changed the story but who wouldn't want a little twist in the story? But that's just me...

Well, if you read Eclipse it said that when you imprint you can be whatever that person wants you to be. So Jacob started as being like her brother. Then he'll be her best friend for awhile because she stuck at 11. But maybe they'll get to be lovers someday.

I think they needed the baby as Edward wanted Bella to have it all and in the end she did. I'm Edward all the way as Bella did tell Jacob from the start just friends..

Oh and pointing out in the movie - talk about AMAZING editing, making Kristen Stewart so skinny and frail looking!! Really made the story more believable and related to the book.
