I do want to say that I did not read about any of these books except the excerpts given on the library website. I have never heard of them, and just went alphabetically through the site. I think this should give me a great way to find some new authors. I also am doing the monthly buddy reads as well.

@Lisa Kay: Oh my gosh! That's crazy. My mom kept a few of mine and put them in her curio with all of our "country" dolls, which we collect everytime we visit a different country. It looks pretty funny with trolls mixed in with the dolls! I keep threatening to move them somewhere else!

Okay, as most of you know October 31st in the US is Halloween. So in honor of the holiday we've decided to have a horror/paranormal themed challenge. There are 4 levels.
Easy - 3 to 4 books. You can either read books about different creatures or opt for our ever popular spell-it-out Challenge. Read books associate with three to four letters which make up creature words. As always you may use the title, name of characters, or the name of an author to link it to the letters. You may ignore the 'A', 'An', 'The', etc. at the beginning of titles to get to the first significant word. So "The Virgin's Secret" would be a 'V' title and "A Highlander Christmas" would be an 'H' title." You pick which word you want or come up with one we haven't.
Example:
F - Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
A - Alison character in Heartstrings and Diamond Rings by Jane Graves
E - Ellen Schreiber author of Vampire Kisses
Elf
Fae
Blob
Moderate - 5 - 8 books Read 5 to 8 books which have creatures in them or opt for a spell-it-out challenge. Spelling out a creature name and using the various letters to spell out the creature name.
