Thanks, Zara! I think I will go withHereafter! I am pretty sure I have it on my Kindle. I really want to read The Night Circus, but I don't think I will get it from the library in time. If I do, I will read that one too!
Thanks!!

YAY! I hope you like it as much as I did.
I am still waiting on my picks. Once I get them and figure out what my reading list looks like for the month I will see what non-PNR book I can come up with for a buddy read.

Either one would be great with me, you pick as it's officially 'your pick' anyway... :)
(Although I have to admit, I am kinda interested in The Night Circus...)

Kim, That works for me. When do you want to start?

I have Good Girls Don't, so can go with that. I have Edge of Sight too, so maybe, depends on when you go with it. Just tell me when you start and I'll start too.

I finally got your recs done, I hope you find something you like, other wise let me know and I will happily make new picks.

Too funny - trying to keep it all straight! Good. I have it and will tee it up and be ready to go. I'm not sure how we do this, but will have a few going at once, which will slow me down a bit [rather good thing because I can usually do a book in a few hours]. I'll start sometime today and update you. Thanks for the reminder and I apologize for my blunder!

I think some have actually started to do this. If you want someone to help with this today, I could try. Just let me know.

I hope you and Jane enjoy Passion, it's one of my favs!

Penney, I read[book:Good Girls Don't yesterday and really enjoyed it. This was a great break from my PNR binge lately. I really hope you enjoy it. I'd send it to you, but it's already promised to a neighbor. It probably won't be available to send to you for a month. (sorry)
Edge of Sight was also very enjoyable. A one-eyed hero? You bet! I have books two and three I can probably finish and forward if you are interested.
If Fifty Shades of Grey is as enjoyable as the other two I'll certainly have to give that a go.
Good month coming for you. Go P!

I just started our buddy read, "Twenties Girl" and I'm about 100 pages in. I am really liking it. So far, the ghost reminds me of the delightful ghost in the books by Carolyn Ha..."
Nancy,
Just started a thread in the Dare You To Read Thread for our Twenties Girl discussion: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/6...
Anyone else is welcome to join us for the discussion.

I started a buddy read thread for Entangled if you can get to it. http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/6....
Everyone feel free to join us. I especially like that the books proceeds go to breast cancer research.

*pout* We want to see it tooooo *whine*

I know Jim, right! I'm looking forward to this month. My monthly challenge list rocks!

*pout* We want to see it tooooo *whine*"
Here is the PM that Nour sent me (just for you) .....
1. Pop: Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning OR Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost. Both of these books are awesome!
2. Golden Oldies: The Iron King by Julie Kagawa. I've seen lots of people reading this book, so I think you should give it a shot!
3. Rock: The Fallen Omnibus, Vol 1 by Thomas E. Sniegoski or Once Bitten by Loribelle Hunt. Looks like you really enjoy Young Adult books, so there wasn't that much too choose from. I liked the second book though, why stop at one hot body? That chick on the cover looks pretty happy ;)
4. Classical: Sum: Forty Tales from the Afterlives by David Eagleman. It's not that I don't like anthologies, but I usually get them if I'm reading a series. For example, if I've finished book 3 and 3.5 is in some anthology, I'll get the book and read just the short story then move on to book #4. So I have a lot of anthologies, none of them are finished all the way through. This one was neat though, I read it last year. It was one of those books that caught my eye on the 2 for 3 table at Barnes and Nobles.
5. Country: Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen. One of my missions in life is to make sure that everyone I come across reads at least 1 Sarah Addison Allen book. So if you read a different one that's ok, but this one is her first and she is one of my ALL TIME favorite authors! She's currently battling breast cancer so she might not be writing another book in the near future. According to her blog, she just had her last Radiation treatment so I think she's going to recover :)
<6>Adult Contemporary: Naked in Death by J.D. Robb. Sex, murder, drugs, violence. This series has it all and has a kick-ass heroine cop! This is a HUGE series, so if you like the first one, there's plenty more where that came from!
7. Indie: White Cat by Holly Black. For a YA novel, I was actually pretty impressed by how good this one was. I like YA novels as long as the characters are not TOO innocent or naive or goody-goody. Also the main character is a guy, which was a nice change too!
Buddy Reads:
8. Hip Hop: Blood Bound by Rachel Vincent or Sweet Venom by Tera Lynn Childs. Both of these books looked very intriguing and they were published this month!
9. Jazz: Glass Houses by Rachel Caine. I have this series on my Ipod so I'm looking forward to starting these!
So, that would be it:)
Happy reading;P

I'm looking through them now, but before posting should probably make sure it will count.

Sorry, guys. I know from first hand experience how frustrating it is waiting for repicks. It totally sucks.

Excellent! I can't wait to see what you pick for me.

Read this Month

From Their TBR Shelf:
1. Pop: Grimspace by Anne Aguirre (Book #1 in the Sirantha Jax series) – I rated this book 5 stars and I love March and Sirantha’s relationship.
2. Golden Oldies: My Blood Approves by Amanda Hocking – I picked this book because it’s a very inexpensive download and a quick read. If you have a lot of other reading obligations this month, this is a good book to squeeze in. It's also been on your shelf for quite some time.
3. Rock: The Darkest Night by Gena Showalter (Lords of the Underworld #1) - I love this series. The first book is not my favorite in the series, but I still really enjoyed it.
From Your Read Shelf:
4. Classical: I have to recommend Magic Bites, the first book in the Kate Daniel’s series. Admittedly, the first book starts slowly, but as you read the rest of the series it picks up and is one of my absolute favorites.
5. Country: I don’t read a lot of cowboy books, so I’m going to recommend something that may be out of your comfort zone. Keeping Promise Rock by Amy Lane is an M/M romance by one of my favorite M/M authors, Amy Lane. She does a wonderful job with the romance between characters and also with the periphery characters in a story. I loved this book even though it was an emotional rollercoaster. I saw you had Zero at the Bone on your list - one of my FAVORITES so I don't think you would be shocked at an M/M Suggestion.
6. Adult Contemporary: I recommend this series to anyone that will listen. Unholy Ghosts is the first book in the Downside Ghosts series by Stacia Kane. Everyone who I’ve recommended it to has thanked me. The first book starts slowly and picks up steam midway. Books 2 and 3 are riveting in my opinion.
7. Indie: Leslie Parrish has a new series out called Extrasensory Agents. The first book in the series is called Cold Sight. I think she’s not very well known, and I found her based on a recommendation on Nalini Singh’s blog. This series is pretty interesting but I like the way Ms. Parrish spends a LOT of time developing a good plot. Some PNR stories are more about the HEA, plot be damned. But the mysteries in this series are pretty good. The second book in this series is even better.
Buddy Reads:
8. Hip Hop: I have read and enjoyed the book Nightfall by Ellen Connor. Ellen Connor is a pen name for Ann Aguirre – the author of the Sirantha Jax series, and Carrie Lofty. Little known fact: Ellen Connor is derived from two kick-ass heroines, Ellen Ripley from the Alien series, and Sarah Connor from the Terminator series.
9. Jazz: The Perfect Play – okay, when you say you can’t judge a book by it’s cover, I hope someone lied, because this cover is amazing and draws my attention every time!

Katie,
I'm so very glad that you liked my recs! You know, it was very hard to find something that I thought you would enjoy. I was very sure that you were going to "shoot to death" all my picks.
I would like to do a buddy-read with you on Father Mine: Zsadist and Bella's Story, PM me if you decide on that *wink*
Happy reading!
