I listened to the audio of this last month. I liked it enough, it was creepy.

Oh I have wanted to read this for quite sometime
I would like to experience this group in a deeper way. Any suggestions? I printed out some free online maps of the entire world, by continent and wrote down lists of some of the books I own that qualified, mostly from the existing list but I have many more to add to it. How do I best utilize the group? I have been putting the books on my "shelf" so I remember to include them. Help?

I loved loved this book - It gave me many laughs.

This is the most beautifully written book I have ever read.

Reading "Floreana - A Woman's Pilgrimage to the Galapagos" by Margret Wittmer. An older book (1989) about a bizarre experiment in living off the grid in the 1930s on a deserted island. Basis for the just released documentary "The Galapagos Affair" - which I highly recommend.

I am currently reading The Scarlet Letter (just a dozen more pages to go) and Moby-Dick.

Both plan to read in next few months

Just started The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert. So far I'm enjoying her writing style.

Jamie Ivey has written one of the most enveloping books about life in the south of France and the food culture that surrounds it. From the first page I was drawn into his story and dreamed at night of Provence. He captured the area perfectly and tells an amusing tale as life as a wine purveyor in French markets. Having been myself to many of these markets, I was impressed and amazed at how well Jamie captured their spirit and essence. I laughed out loud many times and was driven to pour my own glass of rose on more than one occasion.
I immediately ordered Jamie's other two books, Extremely Pale Rose and La Vie En Rose and can't wait to read them.
This is a fantastic book to read at home or while traveling through France. It encompasses all the great things about the area: the food, the scenery, the people, and especially the rose.
