I did not like the writing in this book at all. Yes, reads like a children's book, throughout the entire series. I think it must have been written for very young teens, IMO.

Yeah, I was a bit shocked how few ratings/reviews there were on it. I was the second review for it on GR!! That NEVER happens! LOL I really enjoyed that the love story was so prominent in it, it was a nice change with the dystopians.

They do, but more so in the second book. It's wroth the read to get to the second one, that's for sure.

Good lord, I really struggled to get through the first chapters!! I know she's supposed to be brainwashed and all, but between her self-loathing and June Cleaver attitude I was dying to douse her in ice cold water!

I promise, it changes. Push through, you'll be glad you did. Then read Pandemonium (Delirium, #2) by Lauren Oliver and you'll be happy you stuck with it!

Erin I started it and gave up. But I am determined to read it again this month. Maybe its a book that takes a bit to get into.
