I loved the first one, but I realized pretty far into the second book I was swooning for the wrong guy and it just pissed me off to no end. I decided to pick it back up, and I pictured "the other guy" as a total hottie. lol I really like the series now, the concept is great and the characters are exciting. The heroine can get a little obnoxious at times, she's really judgemental and indecisive, but I looked past it because the story is actually really neat. Definite read! =)

BTW, Annie, since it was you that suggested I re-read it, I must say THANK YOU because I totally loved it! There's actually pictures of the guys that are supposed to be Derek and Lucas, and when I saw "his" picture it was pretty easy to change my mind!! lol

I'm only about half way through. It's ok but it's not great. I'm having a hard time getting into it. I don't like the writing style though I love the storyline so I will keep reading it. I'm in the minority on this one.

It's not sappy but it's a great romance but have you read ye..? It was great. Deep characters. Real life romance instead of the fairy tale all the romance novels seem to be giving nowadays. Totally original. If you haven't you should read it.
