Elise (redentrapy) I just finished The Host (The Host, #1) by Stephenie Meyer which I loved. The characters are so well written you end up loving all of them. I just could not put it down. Now I'm moving on to The Sight (Sight, #1) by David Clement-Davies which I've heard is very sad but so worth it.

message 3702: by Lola (new)

Lola (lolasreviews) The Host is very different from twilight. So even if you didn't like twilight I would still give the host a chance. I really enjoyed the Host

I completely agree. The Host was very different from her Twilight series. I actually read The Host before ever reading Twilight, and I still prefer The Host.

One minute I'm in for Fifty the next I'm hooked with the Lux series. I won't give up!! I'll make it work somehow....

As far as I can remember there was no insta love, the relationships develops quite slowly I think.

LOL, its funny cause most people would be postponing Obsidian to read Fifty! I like the way you think! Daemon is too damn irresistable for words! Enjoy!

lol, there's no turning back now! Daemon is quite addicting! =) Once you go Fifty, though, there's nothing that quite compares. THankfully the stories are so different it's easy to have a huge soft spot for both of them!! ;-)

Yeah I'm that's true, but I haven't started Fifty shades just yet. Which is why my wondering brain keeps nagging on me. But so many of the ladies (and maybe some men) are swooning over it! It couldn't go wrong.

Absolutely true! You now I love a book with characters who appreciate books as much as me (not that THAT is possible). One of the many reasons I LOVE TID. As for Daemon he really likes his shirt off doesn't he I'm blushing miles away.

message 3719: by Annie (new)

Annie Brewer (anniebrewer) | 2351 comments The novella of this series just came out today....and it is SO good!!!!! We get to see Daemon and Dee's brother. It's mostly his story but the other characters appear in it too. Its in 3 different POV's! Just finish this one then get the novella!

message 3720: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca | 453 comments @Jordan: Yeah, But I Love Him is really sad so far. Anne is critsizing Conner's mother for the way she is with her abusive husband, when in reality Anne is heading down the same road!

Jennifer (alltheraeje) The Host will forever be one of my favorite novels. I thought it was so well written. The character development is incredible, and it is such a suspensful and emotional journey that S.M. takes you on. I laughed and cried at certain parts. It was literally like being part of the story for me. I've read it 3 times and it has effected me the same each time!

Jennifer (alltheraeje) I am reading Crossed by Ally Condie, which is the sequel to Matched. I read Matched in a day so I am very much looking foward to diving into Crossed. I just finished Lost in Time by Melissa De la Cruz, the latest in the Blue Bloods series. I think it is my favorite among the books.
