Omg, I also didn't read a book for a week after my first time ever reading this. I'd never cried so much while reading a book either.
Im about 3/4 through book 2 Torn still good so far! Bridget wrote: "Danielle wrote: "To go on the

Had to give up on
. The writing style is just not for me. It bores me too much. So I started the ARC of
. Seems to be dark and interesting. That is good.

Well Tiana, you are right about that. I went to bed thinking about it and woke up thinking about it.

Definitely not for everyone Annie. As I was reading it I told myself I wasn't sure how I felt about it, not sure I was liking it and the whole time couldn't put it down. Very disturbing but not in the way you would expect. So yeah I cried...a lot.

I understand the feeling Beatrice but I had to immediately find something funny so I didn't cry myself to sleep.

I just went through a run of RK Lilley's
. I thought they were pretty good...I think I want to start
since everyone seems to think Tristin is droolworthy. :) I also finished
- LOVE those Bradford men! lol. Next up is
which I just found on my Kindle this morning. :)
finished
, was really good. i ended up rating it 4 stars.i was feeling in a bit of a reading slump, i was looking at books kind of wanting to read them but not really feeling like it, anyways i finally decided to pick up
which has been sitting on my shelf for quiet a while now. hopefully it'll pick my spirits up a bit :)

LOVED the Up in the Air series!! Tristan and Danika is just as good, but I'm bracing myself for reading Rock Bottom this week!! I met her at a book signing a couple of weeks ago, and the first thing she said was "so do you need to vent, or yell at me?" LOL

Now that I've pretty much caught up on blog reviews, I'm going to get to my must-reads and TRY to squeeze in something different before I get stuck not wanting to read. Too many contemp romance reads in a row, I really need a dark erotica and a YA to switch things up SOON. Here's my line-up for now...
This is painful so far, I'm sorry to say I may skim to the end.
The ARC is burning a hole in my counter, I can't pass it up again!
I'm so scared to read it, but I need to...I'll probably need therapy after, though! *sobs*
And then I might finally read
since it'll mix things up a bit.

And heck yes Raw looks real interesting. Another one I have in my TBR mountain so please let us know how that one turns out. It's scheduled to release Jan 3 but there's no kindle version listed for it yet so will have to wait until the 3rd to see and get it them because I definitely plan on reading it.

Kitlina wrote: "just finished

it is and I just want to read it like right now :D
Erin wrote: "Donna wrote: "I just went through a run of RK Lilley's

I still have to read Tristan & Danika's first book so I guess I'll hold off until I hear your verdict on book 2 to figure out if I want to start them when book 3 is closer to its release date :)
Saral wrote: "Firefly Hollow by T.L Haddix"This one sounds promising Saral and has some mixed reviews which I tend to like so please let us know how you like you once you're done reading it :)

It seemed like the author is trying to hard. I just could not connect or get involved in the story. Started Raw and so far I like it. Different, no doubt.

Just finished Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. Holy shit! I read it in less than 12 hours. So damn good!!! A must read. For everyone!!!
After having read
just a few days ago and loved it though it was dark and twisted, I am now totally loving
. It is twisted as hell, dark and a total mindfuck but good. 30% in and I am just sitting there mumbling WTF constantly.
Annie wrote: "Just finished Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. Holy shit! I read it in less than 12 hours. So damn good!!! A must read. For everyone!!!"I HATED the book. Glad you liked it though.
Dang it had a bit of stuff written and safari crashed booo.Ok so is
similar to
? Not a lot of books have made me bawl but some have like
and
that last section in edge of never just tore through me.I did finish
with Shade's story which I really liked but was sort of predictable. I think I might read the next one cause Waith I'm sure I spell his name wrong, is a bad boy with a soft spot. You know the type the one who is just so screwed up and wants to be loved, his outer appearance is hard, cold, careless, but inside he actually cares. Yea I suspect he will be a good read. Lol.

So this is my take on
: I liked the book but I wouldn't say I loooved it. Mostly because I feel like it was geared toward a much younger target audience than the one I'm in (lol). I do have to give props to the author and all the hard work she put into the series and getting her work out there.
