Tracy I read that a while ago and I still think about it from time to time, the story really stays with you. I also cried like a baby while reading it.

Annie Brewer (anniebrewer) | 2351 comments AHHH! Tracy! Forbidden is a top favorite book of all-time. I've read it 3 times and have sobbed endlessly each time. So heartbreakingly devastating!!! *sigh*

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's not for everyone, but it's definitely a book everyone should try once in their life....

This literally broke my heart. I didn't cry but my heart did. It gave me a heavy feeling and I didn't read any books for a week.

message 33054: by Annie (new)

Annie Brewer (anniebrewer) | 2351 comments Omg, I also didn't read a book for a week after my first time ever reading this. I'd never cried so much while reading a book either.

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) People should read that book, it's the most heartbreaking novel I've read so far.

Definitely not for everyone Annie. As I was reading it I told myself I wasn't sure how I felt about it, not sure I was liking it and the whole time couldn't put it down. Very disturbing but not in the way you would expect. So yeah I cried...a lot.

Donna | 1350 comments I just went through a run of RK Lilley's In Flight (Up In The Air, #1) by R.K. Lilley Mile High (Up In The Air, #2) by R.K. Lilley Grounded (Up In The Air, #3) by R.K. Lilley . I thought they were pretty good...I think I want to start Bad Things (Tristan & Danika, #1) by R.K. Lilley since everyone seems to think Tristin is droolworthy. :) I also finished Truce The Historic Neighbor from Hell (Neighbor from Hell, #4) by R.L. Mathewson - LOVE those Bradford men! lol. Next up is Fallen Crest Public (Fallen Crest High, #3) by Tijan which I just found on my Kindle this morning. :)

i was feeling in a bit of a reading slump, i was looking at books kind of wanting to read them but not really feeling like it, anyways i finally decided to pick up Spirit Gate (Crossroads, #1) by Kate Elliott which has been sitting on my shelf for quiet a while now. hopefully it'll pick my spirits up a bit :)

LOVED the Up in the Air series!! Tristan and Danika is just as good, but I'm bracing myself for reading Rock Bottom this week!! I met her at a book signing a couple of weeks ago, and the first thing she said was "so do you need to vent, or yell at me?" LOL

Now that I've pretty much caught up on blog reviews, I'm going to get to my must-reads and TRY to squeeze in something different before I get stuck not wanting to read. Too many contemp romance reads in a row, I really need a dark erotica and a YA to switch things up SOON. Here's my line-up for now...

Avoiding Responsibility (Avoiding, #2) by K.A. Linde This is painful so far, I'm sorry to say I may skim to the end.

Be with Me (Wait for You, #2) by J. Lynn The ARC is burning a hole in my counter, I can't pass it up again!

Rock Bottom (Tristan & Danika, #2) by R.K. Lilley I'm so scared to read it, but I need to...I'll probably need therapy after, though! *sobs*

And then I might finally read Through the Ever Night (Under the Never Sky, #2) by Veronica Rossi since it'll mix things up a bit.

There are some great review for This Much Is True but I really couldn't get into it. As much as I like a more elaborate writing style, this just was too forced. It seemed like the author is trying to hard. I just could not connect or get involved in the story. Started Raw and so far I like it. Different, no doubt.

I HATED the book. Glad you liked it though.

Danielle (Danniegurl) (danniesreads) | 1326 comments Dang it had a bit of stuff written and safari crashed booo.
Ok so is Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma similar to Captive in the Dark (The Dark Duet, #1) by C.J. Roberts ? Not a lot of books have made me bawl but some have like If I Stay (If I Stay, #1) by Gayle Forman and The Edge of Never (The Edge of Never, #1) by J.A. Redmerski that last section in edge of never just tore through me.

I did finish Desire Unchained (Demonica, #2) by Larissa Ione with Shade's story which I really liked but was sort of predictable. I think I might read the next one cause Waith I'm sure I spell his name wrong, is a bad boy with a soft spot. You know the type the one who is just so screwed up and wants to be loved, his outer appearance is hard, cold, careless, but inside he actually cares. Yea I suspect he will be a good read. Lol.

Teresa | 606 comments So this is my take on Switched (Trylle, #1) by Amanda Hocking : I liked the book but I wouldn't say I loooved it. Mostly because I feel like it was geared toward a much younger target audience than the one I'm in (lol). I do have to give props to the author and all the hard work she put into the series and getting her work out there.
