What Are You Reading? Part 1

You know, I still have the Trylle trilogy sitting in my kindle too Laura. Let me know how you like the audios and the story. Maybe I'll try it on audio if you like them. The story sounds interesting enough I just haven't gotten around to them.

Love the Shattered Hearts series. This ones a great conclusion to the others. Enjoy!

Thanks. It took me ages to get to it. Aren't there going to be more books....something about Abigail? Or did I misunderstand something?

No you're right. She's doing Abigails POV and a novella - from Chris' POV. That one I'm looking forward to. Plus, her spin off of Tristin & Senia (abandon).

Thanks:) I was a little unsure of the Bone Season at first because I wasn't understanding what was going on but now that I'm past 100 or so pages I'm really into it.

I really liked it. I thought the series got stronger with each book. I loved Wendy and Loki I thought their ending was very sweet. I didn't know this series had a love triangle when I bought it so I was all prepared to get super annoyed but it was handled in a pretty unconventional fashion and I liked that.

Yup Mel, that's the common consensus for this book. Once you get past the first 80-100 pages it flows much better and the story gets really good :)

Oh good, thanks Mel. I'll keep it on my TBR and try and get to it then :)

Yeah, I'm at page 147 and I'm really starting to love it especially with Warden and Paige interacting more.

They are definitely worth your time, Belkis. I hope you end up enjoying them as much as I did:)

Love anything of Showalter's, but this was my first series read by her and it had me hooked!

This will probably be like the Bloodrose of dystopians for me! LOL Everyone was so pissed at that ending, and depending on how it's handled that will definitely be me! =) It is an interesting theory about the titles, I just wish it wasn't with this series!!

Finished
and I liked it. I usually love getting into the guy's head, but I was disappointed that there wasn't more new material here. I found myself skipping a lot because it was a rehash of the same conversations they'd had, only from his side of the conversation. On the bright side, it got me very excited to read
which I'll hopefully crack open this weekend.
I finished
, it was a surprising disappointment. The heroine just didn't impress and the plot was kinda ridiculous. Right now I'm reading
for review, not bad so far!

I finished

I will Mel and even better I'll wait to find out how Laura likes the audios for them and if she says the narrations are good then even better. I'll grab them in audio and give them a go :D

Sweet:)

Oh HAPPY BIRTHDAY Annie!! Hope you're having a wonderful day being celebrated darling :)

That's awesome sweetie :)

Still reading

Though I am looking for something feels worthy....idk genre, just something heart stoppingly good, but not sad or drama and all that. Gunna have to see if I can find something. You know I get burnt out real easily with similar stories and plot lines that I sometimes need to change it up I bounce around all sorts of genres....though idk what one will give me the feels I'm looking for....feel free to recommend books to me, I've got an open request too.

LOL! You're too funny Danielle :) Have you read any of Elizabeth Hunter's books? I LOVE them all :D

The Demonica series by Larissa Ione is very good. Have you read any of them?

I also really enjoyed

How about any of these?

I'll have to check them out. I'm just not sure what the mood I'm in for, but I'm a bit over the damaged/bad boy or love triangle issues. PNR like breeds, are heavy on sex lacking some plot. Hmmm yea, just gotta figure out what I am in the mood for.

Demonica sounds good may have to check that one out.

Well darling, hopefully you'll find something you like from that list. If not, let us know what you're in the mood for and we'll try and find some others for you to :)

It's a really good series :)

I must admit I am a bit peeved. It was supposed to be three books and done. Now it is just a bit never-ending. I think I am a bit sick and tired of series from time to time.

Got Making Faces waiting for me as well. It sounds just so awesome.

Elizabeth Hunter is really fantastic. I read anything she writes. It is just so addictive. What is also good is J.A. Templeton's MacKinnon Curse series starting with

Hey everyone I'm back!! I need help cause I'm so out of the loop on what to read and what I've missed out on. Being sick and recovering for nearly 5 months now and I haven't read a thing or even thought about books until now when I'm finally in the right frame of mind. So, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated please. Oh, btw, I missed you all <3

Happy to see you are better. And a happy welcome back.
I would suggest for you to read Bella Jewel MC Sinners series starting with

So many great books.....if you like Elizabeth Hunter and haven't read it yet....

Hi Sylvia! So happy you are back and feeling better. You also have Belkis helping you guys so you don't have to work as hard and can relax a little and enjoy the group.

Yes Paula same here. I've been meaning to read Making Faces for a long time now. Can't wait to start it. So many readers have been singing it praises forever.

So fantastic to have you back and feeling good again Sylvia! You've been missed love :)
