What Are You Reading? Part 1

Aaaaand, that's why I won't be reading the rest of that series!! I loved Will, Jem did nothing for me. LOL

Wanted to wish everyone on here Happy Holidays! It'll be Christmas madness in our house tomorrow, but I hope all of you are having a wonderful holiday season with family and friends!

Thank you! I was also Will fan from the beginning. I loved Jem, but not as a love interest to Tessa. He was just too sweet. Will was her perfect match. Perfect everything. Will Will Will. Gah! That ending still gets to me. Will fan for life.

Exactly Erin. I don't think those titles were only to Warner. I think Ignite Me can be either way. I don't care, speaking to you only....as a fellow Adam fan, those titles are so not geared towards just one guy. Honestly, I'm such a f**king ranting bitch right now. I don't even care. Not even a little bit. Because it's my opinion and I'm entitled to it. Ha. Whatever. I'm holding onto hope that Adam gets the girl or she ends up alone. I couldn't care less at this point. I bet that by the time IM actually releases, I won't give a rats ass anymore. We'll see. lol Love ya Erin :)

I only read book 1 and half of 2 before i stopped. Girl was getting on my last damn nerve! Plus why does his brother only fall for the same girl?!

Honestly I get pretty loyal to a couple and want it to continue with them throughout the entire series. I rarely like to read books by authors where each book is different protagonists, that's why I stopped with Feral Sins by Suzanne Wright. I read the next one but...I just couldn't continue on. I think Kristen Ashley's series are like that too:( I'm quirky that way.

Oh you're too funny Tiana :) but hey, we all have quirks LOL! I admit, once I fall in love with a couple I'd like to at least have them make appearances throughout the series if their story isn't the main focus. So I do understand where you're coming from in that regard.

Honestly, I'm team nothing, like I don't even care who she ends up but that was just my theory. I understand that Adam/Juliette were built up in SM and I do think that if Mafi wanted Warner/Juliette she should've made it more clear in SM and not just the other books. On another note, the last book is titled Ignite Me and Warner has a tattoo that says Ignite. I was just putting pieces together.

I really have to read Sweet Peril. I liked Sweet Evil enough, although not as much as everyone else seemed to like it.

Hope you all give it a try.

I can't wait to get to Reaver's book! But I've only read the first book so have a couple more before I can get to this one. Love Larissa Ione's Demonica series :)

Ohhh, will have to add this one to my TBR then :)

You're not alone hun, I didn't care for Sweet Evil either.

Thanks Laura. Do you think it's worth reading then? I mean since it's so very like SGT? And we truly LOVE LOVE SGT, you know??

I have to say that I'm in the same boat on this one. I'm really just enjoying the story and how well it's written. Loving how Mafi develops both the characters and the story. I really like that we've gotten to see all of their flaws and strengths and vulnerabilities and feelings. And I don't think I'll mind who ends with who. Maybe they all need time on their own to work out their individual issues LOL!

Yes, I liked the concept, but I didn't feel the end of the series tied up loose ends too well. Here could have been more story to tell.

So I think I'm going to start breeds 4 and read torn.

I couldn't get into the story or characters in the first one Tracy.

Oh good to hear Danielle because I'm looking forward to the rest of the Breeds books :) still have to start the Sinners On Tour series too. Way too many books to read and not enough time to read them :D

Wow Jenny, that's quite a reading lineup you've got there. Hope you can get through them all in time :)

So I might have to shift around not sure yet. But my lib just told me by ebook hold is ready for me, so I might be reading [bookcover:Just Listen|51738] somewhere in there too. I only have it checked out for 14 days but that's not too bad I can knock it out. Torn is due first so I might need to read that since I also checked out twisted which is the second book for torn.

Oh Tiana I really enjoyed The Bone Season. The start is a bit slow and there's loads of information, hard to pronounce names, and lots of different types of magics to keep track of at times, BUT, very worthy read. I'm looking forward to book 2 :) hope you end up liking it too.

Great Laura, thanks! I'll keep it in my TBR and will look forward to reading it and falling in love with another SGT :)

Oh Danielle, I really enjoyed the first Breeds book! I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. I'm very hopeful since you're reading them too and enjoying them. Can't wait to get to Kane's story!

Well I just added it laura!

So what did you think of the Switched trilogy? Did you like how it ended?

I would still very much recommend it because it does have some very different situations. Yet if you have read TSGT you will still be able to tie the story all together and understand how the story of TSGT was switched up from this book.
*Note I listened to this on Audio and really did not care for the narrator at all. She has a very nasilly sounding voice and she takes these breaths that sound like shes slurping - so I think I would suggest reading it rather than listening to it.
Now im starting the Trylle Trilogy on audio

I'm so sorry to see it end, although she did a great job at it. I'm hoping for some spin offs, besides the Seven series (which so far, I'm loving).

I have to get back to the Mageri series. I read the first book and liked it a lot but haven't been able to get back to it. Also bought Seven, it looks very good. Need to read it as well. Too many books, sigh....

Okay, so the issue with that would be that those of us who raved about Adam in SM would have had no clue that when she said "shatter me" to Warner (or vice versa, I didn't notice this) that meant they were going to be a couple! Sure, if that was the plan all along, I would have liked to have been clued in. I wouldn't have wasted my time daydreaming about an Adam/Juliette HEA. =/
