Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments Okay so I finished The Goblin King (The Kings, #4) by Heather Killough-Walden and it was great. Such a good PNR series. Love Heather Killough-Walden's writing and imagination. Then started The Bone Season (The Bone Season, #1) by Samantha Shannon and I'm already sucked into it. LOVING IT! So interesting. Have the distinct feeling that this is going to be the next dystopian "it" story for me :) I'm so happy!

Laura (llbasaldua) | 790 comments Havent been here for awhile but have gotten plenty of books off my TBR pile and of curse added a few more LOL

World After (Penryn & the End of Days, #2) by Susan Ee Loved it of course!
Stealing Harper (Taking Chances, #2) by Molly McAdams Yeah was still sad even though I knew what was coming.
Fingerprints of You by Kristen-Paige Madonia was a really good Coming of Age story and teen pregnancy. My only problem with it was it ended way to soon.
Dark Kiss (Nightwatchers, #1) by Michelle Rowen Really enjoyed but was a bit flat on the romance parts ...
Wicked Kiss (Nightwatchers, #2) by Michelle Rowen Was better than the first but again still a little flat.
Daylighters (Morganville Vampires, # 15) by Rachel Caine SAD that the series ended but I think it was well done!
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn Hrmm all I can say is WOW TWISTED!!! and even that doesnt do justice to these two people they are beyond twisted!
Left Drowning by Jessica Park Was pretty good but a bit over the top at times.
Falling Into You (Falling, #1) by Jasinda Wilder Was a good read but I just fet like it had 1 to many sex scenes that wrent needed.
Captive in the Dark (The Dark Duet, #1) by C.J. Roberts Now I listened to this on Audio and I really didnt like the narrator ... either way Im on the fence about the rating..
Revealed (House of Night, #11) by P.C. Cast Finished and well nothing happened plot wise so it was pretty meh...
One Pink Line by Dina Silver Amazing Book! I cant believe I waited so long to read it! Recommend to anyone looking for a good lighthearted read. But I warn tissues may be required!
Carnival of Souls by Melissa Marr Another Amazing book by Melissa Marr! Loved it cant wait ofr the next!

Not sure what Im starting next. I think The Fiery Heart (Bloodlines, #4) by Richelle Mead or Crash into You (Pushing the Limits, #3) by Katie McGarry

So happy you're back and you're good. I also Loved Carnival of Souls by Melissa Marr and can't wait for the next book. Haven't heard anything on it's release so will have to do a little digging :) Yay! about One Pink Line by Dina Silver I've had it for a long time and need to move it up. Thought it was interesting looking when I bought it and so happy that it is so will try to get to it soon. Also have Fingerprints of You by Kristen-Paige Madonia and will dutifully also move it up darling. So HAPPY you're back!

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments So I finished The Bone Season (The Bone Season, #1) by Samantha Shannon and really liked this one a lot. Such an interesting story. Great world building, mythology, fantastic main characters. It was a bit daunting in the beginning due to loads of information and backstory setup but totally worth it. Shaping up to be a new series with great promise. I also recommend the audio version of this book. The narrator was fantastic. She brought so much depth and character to the story. Especially since the MC is Irish and the narrator pulled off the accent beautifully. Also with all of the mythology there are a lot of hard to pronounce names and terms which had me struggling in the eBook version. Now starting another series that's been sitting in my TBR forever Fury (New Species, #1) by Laurann Dohner mixing up my genres to keep it interesting and a little hotness doesn't hurt either LOL!

Oh yes Laura, I think you'll like it a lot since you can appreciate good writing and intricate plots and details. There are some things that I wish would've been a little different like I said in my review. But despite them, the story is wonderful, the writing is beautiful, the world building is unique, the character development is very well done, and the storyline is refreshing and intriguing. And like I said, if you can get the audio it's so much better because the narrator is really good and some of the names and paranormals and such are hard to pronounce correctly. I loved the audio and the story. Super excited for the next book :)
