Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments I finished Wuthering Frights (Dulcie O'Neil, #4) by H.P. Mallory and it was very good. It had been way too long since I read this series. So glad I finally got back to it. I need to read book 5 soon because the ending left me wanting more! Next starting Red Hill by Jamie McGuire

Victoria | 259 comments starting Through the Ever Night (Under the Never Sky, #2) by Veronica Rossi and I am looking forward to it because lately I haven't been really happy with sequels ( or really I haven't been happy with some of my reading choices lately, kind of in a funk I think) - so I am hoping reviews are accurate and I am expecting good things from this one!

♥ Rebecca ♥ | 1653 comments OMG too many ARCs! I had started Deception's Web (Deizian Empire, #3) by Crista McHugh , which I was super excited about. But then I got The Sharpest Blade (Shadow Reader, #3) by Sandy Williams from NetGalley and had to start it immediately! I'm 30% in. Now I got Dangerous Depths (The Sea Monster Memoirs #2) by Karen Amanda Hooper from NetGalley too and I dont know what to read next! :P I wanna read Dangerous Depths because book 1 was 5 stars for me, but I also really wanna get back to Deception's Web! Gah! :P

Mello ❣ Illium ✮Harry✮ ☀Myrnin☀ Torin Ichimaru | 257 comments I always love those McKenzie Lewis covers. Though book 1 and book 3's are the best.

I've been on my M/M reading spree still. Taking a break to quickly read The Mysterious Case of Mr. Strangeway (The St. Croix Chronicles, #0.5) by Karina Cooper and since it's short, I'll start But For You (A Matter of Time #6) by Mary Calmes after.

Yes Annie that part killed me. I felt so bad for Roar :'( I cried my heart out over it. Gah! I hope the third book doesn't disappoint us and they all get happy endings. It would slay me if they didn't. I had enough heartbreak with Allegiant. I'm super nervous over the release of book 3 Champion for the Legend trilogy as well. Thank goodness that many of the trilogies are wrapping up between the end of this year and early part of next :) so tired of waiting on releases.

Belkis (bminaya) | 8313 comments Okay so I finished Red Hill by Jamie McGuire and it was good. I didn't love it but it was good. Definitely well written, I mean it is Jamie McGuire. But honestly, I don't care for zombie books. I got so excited over a new release by Jamie that I didn't even bother to read what the book was about and just preordered it LOL! And then I figured I'd might as well just try it out. I liked that there are 3 main character alternating POVs and perspectives so you get to experience each of their personal stories and emotions. Didn't care for one of the main characters. Overall an okay read, but this one will be my one and only attempt at a zombie book. Now reading Beyond Shame (Beyond, #1) by Kit Rocha .

I would say I'm with you on that. I tried to read Warm Bodies (Warm Bodies, #1) by Isaac Marion but I couldn't get past the 3rd chapter and I almost never don't finish books. A few people told me they loved it and the movie also. I did like The Passage (The Passage, #1) by Justin Cronin though. I don't exactly consider it a zombie book but I think a lot of people do. There is no romance in that book and kind of creepy but it was REALLY well written and a pretty interesting story.

Unfortunately most of the PNR series are similar to each other and so is these two. But I prefer Chicagoland Vampires series, characters are much better and it's more fun. I would say it is more like Sookie stackhouse, only better written and where Sookie annoyed the hell out of me, I really like Merit. And Ethan is just so vampiric and delicious.

Me too. I do see similarities with Stackhouse series but this one is better written with better characters and more fun. Eric and Ethan are definitely alike but c'mon who doesn't likes Alexander Skarsgard in suit. :) I'm definitely continuing with the series too, until I run out of money.
