I have an older kindle and when I did the text to speech it was horrible. Are the audios the same? I mean does it sound like a robot reading? I use Overdrive and some of the books are only available on WMA and the only thing that plays them that I have found is my laptop.

Wow, I haven't checked what format the audio files are Tracy. I have a second generation kindle but have never tried listening to audios on it. I only listen to audios on my kindle touch and they're all great. I also have the audible software on my phone and iPad but have never listened to audios on them. LOL! I guess you can say I'm pretty much hooked on my kindle touch :) love that thing!

no, I didn't like it very much- there was too much drug use ( everybody, and I mean everybody and all the time- every page!) and no funny or lighthearted parts to balance it out, no fun characters at all- everyone was depressed and they were all drug addicts and that was all they did- cry and be angry and do drugs and it just got old.. I was disappointed because it wasn't near as good as her other books have been. Maybe others would like it, but not me- moving on :)

I have never read Harry Potter, I know, I know, I'm probably the only person in the universe that hasn't but I watched the movies and usually if I watch the movies first I won't read the books. Have hardly read any of Stephen King because I have already seen the movies.
