Oh my goodness yes! Snacks & Seduction was HILARIOUS! And I really loved Wallbanger as well. It was funny and sweet. Still need to read Entangled but from what I hear it's supposed to be fantastic too. So I'm guessing you can't go wrong with any of these :)

Yep Erin, they series starts going downhill from book 2 onward. So sad because the first book was really good and the novellas were fantastic! But book 2 wasn't great, not bad, but not as good as book 1. And book 3 was stale and disappointing. And then to add insult to injury, this was supposed to be a trilogy and now she's planning on writing 5 books!! The story is totally stale at book 3 and she's extending to 2 more books?!? Really?! For me personally I'm ending it with this third disappointing book and going no further.

And in answer to your question, the story/books revolve around the same characters.

Okay, I need some opinions here. I just finished The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden (The Coincidence, #1) by Jessica Sorensen and it was pretty good. Didn't blow me away and lordy Jessica needs a new editor, but of course it's got me on the hook for book 2. So, I was checking out reviews and it sounds like the consensus is that The Redemption of Callie and Kayden (The Coincidence, #2) by Jessica Sorensen was really disappointing and leaves a lot still unanswered. Do those of you who read it agree, should I not rush to read it?

I loved the The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden (The Coincidence, #1) by Jessica Sorensen but you better go ahead and get the second one lined up because you haven't experienced a cliff hanger like the one that is coming... hope you enjoy the story though, it was sad, but loveable. :)

Well I finished Coincidence, and yep that cliffie is awful!! But I'm just wondering about Redemption because with the 4th book coming up that actually finishes up Callie and Kayden's story, I'm wondering if I should just wait for that. A good deal of the reviews I read say that Redemption was in no way a closure and was disappointing in that it left so much unanswered. Just curious if you all feel that way, too!

message 30822: by Annie (new)

Annie Brewer (anniebrewer) | 2351 comments Erin, I'll say I was slightly unsatisfief because yes, there were unresolved issues but it wasn't a horrible cliffie. Not like Coincidence. I am however, excited for Luke's book. That's gonna be amazing since we learn some things about him in Redemption that will be addressed in his book. I'm ready for closure though, with Callie and Kayden.

For me too. I can't take anymore of Sara. She drives me nuts. How can one person have so many doubts and change her mind every ten seconds?! Jesus. I'm not sure if I want to read the next two books. ugh, same goes for the Crossfire series. It's just dragged out to make more money and they blame it on the characters that they have more story to tell. 3 books are perfectly enough to tell a story.

I would say go ahead and read it. The second one picks right up where book one ends so it seems like all one book. The second one doesn't end on a big cliff hanger, it has a wrapped up ending, there are just a lot of unanswered questions left...a lot of loose ends I guess. I am not sure the original plan was to write another book for them because this one seems like the Author originally intended to end it here, but then everyone complained that it was lacking closure so she decided to write more ( this is my opinon, I have nothing to back that up) It just felt that way for me- the story for them sort of ends...but doesn't, I know that may make no sense, but that was my take on it. Read it, at least you won't feel like you closed the book and ended it at the most dramatic point...lol!

Agreed on both series. They definitely could've been wrapped up in 2 books. Three was more than plenty. But pushing them to more is just watering down an already stale story.
